assassination energy regen depends a lot from gear, the more crit you have the more energy you will regen, in icc gear it's pretty common that rogues try to avoid energy capping instead of being starved.

Any time you're constantly switching targets, combat is better and easier.

If you're sitting on a boss 100% of the time (fester/saurfang), I find Assassination easier.

Herkumi War Token is my Suggestion - Recovered Scarlet Onslaught Cape is another.

Gear can drop quickly when you start raiding, and leather is easy to win compared to trinks, rings, Necklaces, and Cloaks. Where hungry Plate and Mail Wearers want a piece of the pie too.

/agree - War Token first.

Nothing wrong with getting T10 pieces, but if you are running VOA 10&25 each week, Token is the better investment.

but trinket, then 2t10. best pieces around for starting. dont buy the cloak (if you plan to stay muti, for combat is good), lootship drops the bis one and nowadays if a pug fail on lootship, well...nuff said. most of the times (if not always) is done hm so don't worry.

after that, if you pug constantly (or if you are in a guild) and you can get token, even 264 ones, aim for 4t10, it all depends of you are lucky/can do council for the offset.

4t10 drops more dps, but offset is fine too (difference is negelgible).
