Does wowhead or anywhere else have a way of checking character animations? Would be so helpful for deciding what race to play for each class as you never really know if that cool looking male worgen turns out to look dumb in a dress with horrible casting animations...

Although it would be good if this site had that, you can also find them on youtube.

When you click on the "View in 3D" button, there will be an "Animations" menu at the bottom right of the new window. This covers dozens of character animations.
In addition, you can change the race/gender in the "Model" section, and select what race you'd like the modelviewer to show by default under User Settings.

Guess im just not looking in the right place cos I have tried but cant seem to find a way to view for example a generic troll priest. Ive been searching through Database>classes then theres no 'view in 3D' button but i'll keep trying, thanks for the info.

You need to actually view something in 3D to get the selection for characters. View anything that's equippable in 3D and you can select race / gender in the bottom left. After you've done that, you'll get a new dropdown menu in the bottom right you can mouseover to load animations. After the animations menu is loaded (might take a short while) you can use it to play all standard animations for your race / gender selection.

Try that link, you should get the View in 3D window opened automatically with a male troll selected.

Solved thanks to that, I was looking up classes/races instead of just looking up for example priest tier set im using to transmog to at the moment. Once I did that I could look up every animation / race / gender I wanted so thanks again for fixing stupid(me).
