Wowhead's Discord Tooltips Bot
With the
Wowhead Bot
in your server, you can
search for tooltips
by using the /tooltip command. The
top search result
will come back with a tooltip image and a link to the database page.
You must have the 'Server Manage' permission to add the Wowhead Bot to a Discord server and 'Channel Manage' to set up channel specific preferences.

The bot has the following commands:
/tooltip
: Searches the Wowhead database for a given term, and replies with a tooltip screenshot of the top search result. You can tell Wowhead Bot to search Wowhead's different sites, like Classic, Retail, or Wrath Classic, by using the /setup command.
Bonus:
/tt and /search also work!
/setup
: Allows you to set the language and site the bot will use for searches, as well as whether the setup changes apply to just the current channel or the whole server. It also lets you mute or unmute the bot, if you temporarily don't want to see its messages.
