Wowhead's Discord Tooltips Bot
in your server, you can
search for tooltips
by putting terms between brackets. The
top search result
will come back with a tooltip image and a link to the database page.
You must have the 'Server Manage' permission to add the Wowhead Bot to a Discord server and 'Channel Manage' to set up channel specific preferences.
Add the Wowhead Bot to your Discord server!
The bot supports the following functionality at this time:
Select a Language
(English by default): English, German, Russian, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Korean or Chinese.
Example: !wowhead-setup Russian
Select a data set
(Live by default): Live, Classic, TBC, PTR, or Beta.
Example: !wowhead-setup Classic
Select a data set / language per channel or for the whole server
Example: !wowhead-setup Classic server

Force Bot to Ignore Message
: If you want the bot to ignore your message entirely, because you're sharing a macro or code that contains brackets, simply add an exclamation point
to the beginning of your message. The bot will also ignore messages that start with a forward slash
on the second line.

Users with the 'manage channels' permission on your server can tell the bot to switch to any of our data sets.
