The combined flavour text of each piece in this set tells the following story.

Part 1: Awakener's Urge
When Vithu stood even a few feet off the ground, he heard his own voice urging him to jump. Once he could no longer sleep, he painted the tenebrous void he saw in his dreams.

Part 2: Shameless Urge
Vithu's paintings were adored throughout the provinces, and many called him a seer. Patrons chased the sublimity of his feelings. In one year, Fengge catalogued a dozen leaping deaths from the heights.

Part 3:Modest Urge
Haunted, Vithu left Fengge, vowing to paint no more. A year passed, and a young girl arrived at his door, asking questions about his work. She held a penknife unsteadily in her hand.

Part 4: Luminary's Urge
Consumed by guilt, Vithu opened his door with downcast eyes, certain that the girl had come for revenge. He was shocked when she begged to be his apprentice.

Part 5: Exemplar's Urge
The girl, Miray, confessed that she imagined the void years ago, and drew it for her parents. If Vithu was guilty of their deaths, she was as well. But she preferred to blame the void.

Part 6: Beacon's Urge
Vithu accepted Miray's apprenticeship, and they painted the void in new colors, undeniable but robbed of all its power.
