Takes so long to get it released since Blizzcon announcement. I hope it will be worth the wait.
Its being rushed for earnings callIts gonna be a battle-pass arpg that Blizzard said this about "Character progression is incredibly important in Diablo Immortal. When you play games in the MMO genre, you’re focused on unlocking new abilities for your character and keeping up with other players on your server. "https://www.wowhead.com/news/diablo-immortal-class-change-feature-unveiled-new-cosmetics-every-month-326517Its towards the bottom check it outfrom same article"Our solution, arriving shortly after Diablo Immortal launches: Class Change.""arriving shortly after Diablo Immortal launches""arriving shortly after...launches"But hey They have the battle-pass all set up, we get to complete one every month!Well you will have the joy, I'm gonna battle-pass this one by.
Better be good
I can hardly wait! 🔥
All memes aside I'm pretty curious what the game is like. I'm not a big mobile gamer at all but I'll give it a fair shot.
As I've said before as long as I can play it on my PC through something like BlueStacks I'd gladly play it, otherwise I just can't imagine playing it on a phone. Maybe if I was 15 years younger my body would be able to handle long phone sessions, but right now... nope not possible. As for a battle pass. If they game is good I wouldn't mind getting a battle pass.
Imagine taking 3+ years to create a mobile game.
I never understood why Diablo games took so long to release...
Can’t wait! I played quite a bit of this game in beta and was really impressed by it. First mobile game I have ever played.
Genshin Impact had a pc client since day one and is the #1 mobile game.Immortal has been in development for 7 years and doesn't have a pc client. If your dev team can't spend time doing the basics, don't expect players to waste time playing your cash grab. Stay in your lane...re-hashing games made 10 years ago.
"Blizz says they have been working on this game for years, they even delayed the release so it must be good."-YouBlizz also said:"Character progression is incredibly important in Diablo Immortal. When you play games in the MMO genre, you’re focused on unlocking new abilities for your character and keeping up with other players on your server. However, Diablo games always feature a rich variety of classes with different playstyles and fantasies. This leads to a conflict: you want to play every class, but you don’t want to hinder your character’s progress to try them all. How can we let you do both? Our solution, arriving shortly after Diablo Immortal launches: Class Change."Sounds like they are slapping the "Diablo" name on a lost ark rip-offAnd when I say "rushed" note the "will arrive shortly after launch", yeah like wc3:re was fixed shortly after launch. Its almost as if they are rushing games out.
blizzard track history with mobile games was buying King late 2015 to get candy crush. in 2016 made hearthstone card game playable on mobile. both these games have padded ATVIs earnings calls since.but they have failed on other announcements like Blizzcon 2018 with diablo immortal along with a pokemon go style pet battle style mobile game 3 1/2 years ago. working with i think tencent or some other Chinese gaming company the initial diablo immortal was a art reskin a existing subpar game, i think it would have released if it wasn't leaked and caught2022 announce a warcraft mobile game so? 2025/6 in that? for a company that realized the cash cow of mobile gaming in 2015 on their own have only succeeded in a card game easily carried over from PC
6 years ago https://kotaku.com/blizzards-plan-to-get-rid-of-gaps-between-world-of-warc-1788620354It’s a big leap for a post-expansion WoW patch, but Hazzikostas said to expect a consistent stream of meaty (and less meaty) story content rather than lengthy breaks until the next expansion comes out.could do link after link of promises that still have not happened
