Seasonal Renown Progression Will Not Transfer Between Normal and Hardcore Modes - Diablo 4

Normal characters on the Eternal Realm will have map & Altar of Lilith progression carry over to Normal characters in the Seasonal Realm.

Hardcore characters on the Eternal Realm will have map & Altar of Lilith progression carry over to Hardcore characters in the Seasonal Realm.

Normal and Hardcore characters can only share progress with characters in the same mode, there is no crossover.

On July 18th, when Patch 1.1.0 goes live, logging in to multiple characters will allow all of them to share this Altar of Lilith & map Renown progress with each other, as long as the characters are on the same game mode (Normal vs. Hardcore).

Especially considering there is no way to migrate your HC char to Standard if you die like in PoE.

So let me get this straight;

If you died on HC, you can't transfer any progress to new season because you can't login.
If you played HC and unlocked everything and decide to play with your friends on non-hardcore (which is 10x easier), you can't transfer any progress.
