Nice tree you got there. Be a shame if something... happened to it.

Some chose to return, the first official undead Alliance members.....

So, we just ignoring the Death Knights?

Comment by GuiAlcantara

I just hope the heritage quest show the more savage side of the night elfs, like it was shown in Warcraft 3, but I think Blizzard see them as treehugger pacifists now. Like oh no, no more violence for the night elfs, they just want peace and hope!

Yeah, dude. Remember, also, Sylvanas is also the first female to bow down to no one.

Or you can just understand that people either make mistakes or they are delusional.

It is not about the Night Elves. They did that to Orcs, too. They have shown nothing of the Azeroth's Orcs. Dont hope for anything. They are going for the boring anti-hype path.(##RESPBREAK##)272##DELIM##Uchur##DELIM##Inappropriate

we better get the damned blue/white variant, if we don't i'm gonna be livid.

It would be awfully nice if the heritage quest hit the ptr already. I bet Blizzard is avoiding it so they don't have to implement any feedback.

Very well written article, your power of summarization was shown and the text itself was an absolute delight to read.
Good job!

Yeah, dude. Remember, also, Sylvanas is also the first female to bow down to no one.

Or you can just understand that people either make mistakes or they are delusional. Feminists have been proven to be delusional and it has a consistent logic in regards to the amount of copium the inhale.

Yeah dude the race that just committed a genocide, screwed Pandaria over with violent racial supremacy, and currently own most of Ashenvale are the poor defanged babies here. What dimension are you from that getting Garrosh and then having your continuing bloodlust confirmed through the 4th war was you being weakened

Your reading comprehension amazes me. You did not read and understand what Gui said and talked out of your ass and it shows that you did not do the Orc Heritage armor quest to understand why I said what I said but first you must understand what was written before just looking for something to hate or be triggered by.

Also, booohooo. Its a game, dude. If you are angered by the deeds then that is good but if its an irrational hate and not RP what you just said about what Orcs did under Garrosh's reign then you need help from a therapist.

If something happen to the tree i hope be for a old god or something like that.

Comment by Metalchic

Almost certainly not, it wont last past 10.2, and will be destroyed with another decimation of the night elf population.

but it also destroyed Nordrassil

... have you even taken the Mount Hyjal Portal before? Not even mentioning the Thrall quest where they gathered with an idea to speed up it's healing, the books having Malfurion against Teldrassil because Nordrassil was a better priority, or THE VERY CINEMATIC THE WISPS EXPLODED IN having Medivh acknowledge while we see on screen that the roots were healing?

Nordrassil isn't destroyed. It lost it's power and has gone into healing, but it isn't destroyed, it may even be restored after the Thrall questline since that's the entire reason everyone was there, we just don't know. What is abundantly obvious however, is that it's not DESTROYED.

Some chose to return, the first official undead Alliance members.

Nothing backs this up atm. Players get the options, but unlike Eredar in the upcoming patch, there's no questline actually showing and explaining undead NE's returning. They are 100% race traitors, in the same way Eredar are, so without evidence in the story, the customization doesn't mean anything explicitly canon.

Do not.. even.. go there! Only the Alliance can visit, explore, or live on Amirdrassil once it grows. But that's another story for another time.

No, this is lore correct. The Death Knights and the Knights of the Ebon Blade are neither Alliance or Horde. In the quests for original DKs Where Kings Walk and Warchief's Blessing it is made very clear that

You are now, and forever will be, a Knight of the Ebon Blade, <name>, but know this: you were once a hero of the Alliance/Horde.

and

This order must establish allies for itself if it is to survive. You must represent the Knights of the Ebon Blade to the Alliance/Horde.

You are no longer a member of your faction from when you were living, you are simply being sent to deliver a letter from Bolvar to the leader of each faction as a representative to gain allies for the Knights of the Ebon Blade. Both DKs and DHs are neutral factions loyal first and foremost to their own faction.
Even the new generation DKs are Knights of the Ebon Blade only.

As a Kaldorei player I'm waiting to see what they do with Amidrassil. Even if I'm afraid of the result. I also hope for the restoration of Darkshore and the rebuilding of the Kaldorei in Northern Kalimdor.

On the other hand, Nordrassil was not destroyed. It is just damaged, so ultimately the Kaldorei should regain their immortality when the World Tree has regenerated. Nordrassil remains the holiest tree to the Kaldorei and the center of their civilization.

Comment by Jeolene

I'm not disappointed in the heritage armor, but I was really hoping for that look from the Darkshore battleground NPC's. I mean, it's literally the original night elf outfit from the Classic opening cinematic.
