Content

The seasonal storyline will have players race against time to stop Belial from returning to power in Sanctuary.
There will be new Lair Bosses on the boss ladder, including Belial, Urivar, and The Harbinger of Hatred.

Lair Keys

Rather than using specific materials to summon bosses, players will now be able to unlock Boss Lairs with Lair Keys.
Lair Bosses will have a chance of spawning Belial for additional loot.

Apparition Incursions

Players will be able to participate in this outdoor activity to earn Spectral Ash, which will allow them to level up their new seasonal powers.

Boss Powers

Players will be able to use powers gained from World Bosses, Lair Bosses, & Pinnacle Bosses, such as Duriel, Lilith, and Belial.

Class Changes

Barbarian

The Whirlwind skill will be receiving buffs.
Executioner's Aspect will be capped to prevent the Earthquake build from dominating the meta.
Mighty Throw will be receiving some adjustments.

Druid

There will be a big buff to Earthen Might.
Early game resources will be easier to gain.
Gathlen's Birthright will empower the Druid when they stay in Human form.

Necromancer

Blood Wave will be receiving a slight buff.
Blood Lance will be reworked so that it always spreads, which will help ramp up AoE damage.
Vampiric Curse is now actually a Curse.

Rogue

Shadow Clone will no longer trigger as a Cuthroat Skill.
Death Trap's cooldown has been adjusted.
Bands of Ichorous Rose will empower Poison Trap.

Sorcerer

The Avalanche skill will be receiving a rework.
The Familiar animation has been smoothed out.
The new Unique helm will allow Ice Shards to spread out and hit multiple targets.

Spiritborn

A bug was fixed with Unyielding Hits, and will now allow this ability to receive its correct multiplier.
Sepzaontec has been buffed.
A new Unique amulet, Sunbird's Gorget, will allow Storm Feathers to benefit from multiple Skill types.

System Updates

Conduit Shrines have been removed.
The Obol Gambler has been buffed.
Leveling Glyphs will be much easier.

Season Journey Changes

Smoldering Ashes will now be earned directly through the Season Journey, rather than through the Battle Pass.

Q&A

The Skill Tree and Aspects will be reworked sometime in the future.
Lair Boss Keys will remain tradeable.
Balance changes will happen more rapidly going forward.
The team will consider bringing back seasonal powers in the future.
The Campaign still gives the same amount of experience.
Glyphs will not gain experience for any content other than The Pit.
The Mythic Unique drop rate increases as players progress through the Lair Boss ladder.
The developers' goal is to make sure that all builds should be able to complete content.

Comment by kpiaumGeez, players will runing almost of the time instanced content and here we are in season 7 with only outdoor content. Blizzard need to put the season mechannics into intanced content.
