How are you going to announce this 2 days after it started. Way to drop the ball
I don't live anywhere near those places but I wouldn't turn down one of those free tatts. Oh and a 6 and 17 for me lol
Seems irresponsible.
I did this at the LA location (actually Orange County near Blizzard HQ). They didn't announce that you'd get anything for coming and getting the tattoo, but once you were there, they hinted at "something special" when you were done. When you were all finished, someone came in and took down your contact information/bnet and gave you the card and let you know you'd get the game and beta access. I was stoked, got a cool, free tattoo representing something I really like, and walked away with a free game and test access. I ended up going with the crusader shield one, since I love their backstory and played a ton of crusader on hardcore when RoS came out (lost my crusader character ~400 hours in to a fallen lunatic pack hiding behind a corner).
I thought it would be to donate blood to a hospital or something…. Jeez… that would make so much more sense. Do a good cause and Get a beta in reward.
well, you get a tattoo and a promise of a gamewhether you actually get the game remains to be seen
They should do it with blood donations.
I guess some players soon will not be able anymore to say "Bobby Kotick never got under my skin". Cringe. The most passionate fans receive a free copy of Diablo IV, so that they can jump straight into spending thousands of dollars in cosmetics. After Diablo Immortal should be clear enough what today's Blizzard means by "for free".
I have a Tyrael in my back for like 10 years. Why can't it count?
I've already got a tonne of fandom tattoos, I'm in the middle of a Mercy/Tyrande sleeve, and the druid paw is fantastic. D2 was an important game in my life, so when offered a free tattoo why would I say no? Even without a beta offer, i'd jump at this =p
This is 10x worse than pre-ordering a game. You don't know the game isn't trash. You don't know the game isn't p2w like Immoral. You are stuck with a permanent trashy looking tattoo.
I mean the tats are kinda bland in all honesty xD
This is already a scam. The tattoo places already said the contest is over and the people was already selected for the Diablo IV beta and digital copy
Don't have any tatoos and don't intend to get one, but I have to admit this it's an original idea. I like it.
Corporate sheep in the comments are baffling ... How is this even allowed as an ad or a promotion ? I have nothing against a tattoo but this is just sick ..
It's cool idea, but if this is the only way to get a beta access for now, then it is a very stupid idea...
Most of them are the US.. wish they did more in EU because i would totally go.. Berlin is just to far for me.
