Perhaps I've been spoiled, but the original release date for diablo 2 was June 28, 2000 and if we fast-forward 23 years...- lackluster gameplay footage, sadly, not impressed. + i like the color palette"Time to die."
This is looking fantastic. Reminds me of Diablo II a lot!
Barb looks a lot slower than Diablo 3 barb game play. Kinda sad and a bit boring.
The D2 Barb never lacked single target damage - did the author even play D2? The best barb builds either involved using frenzy while stacking crushing blow and deadly strike or a magic find variant using berserk and fearing away trash mobs while singling out elites. The only AoE skills a D2 barb has are whirlwind and war cry which are mediocre at best so it’s more like the complete opposite of what is stated in the article.
Ah yes, more of that auto attack gameplay by the barbarian Agron. Imagine being tasked to show some boss gameplay and all you do is auto attack. Not asking for sweat gameplay but if you're trying to hype up the audience, I can assure you that only using auto attacks isn't the way. The fact a "professional" released this without using a single ability is literally mind blowing. I find the mind of this person to be more fascinating than any psychopath you could interview.
It’s called &*!@ty footage provided by the devs. Not the author. No one who played the press kit beta is allowed to show their own footage so yeah we get *!@#ty auto attacks on a boss fight lmao. Also barbarian early level has problems with resource generation and their abilities are expensive so who knows.
