Catering to the Twitch crowd again I see. Be prepared to lose a lot of players. Making level progression more difficult is a mistake. There is so much end game content, level progression should not be made more difficult. Making PIT 75 for T4 is a dumb idea. No wonder all of your devs left.

This is super boring tbh.More time leveling with more "useless" loot... Who believes this is good and fun gameplay? It's the 8th tome for some people doing it. Repeatition is not fun, for most people.The season power is witchcraft reskinned. The same mechanic two times in a row is bad even for you blizzard. Especially sine we lose it at the end of the season and only a few affixes come back which are mostly bloat.New slots, Pet mechanic for every class, combos, deterministic crafting/upgrade, fuse gear, a real skilltree or modificator for skills....There are so many possibilities and we get roughly the same seasonwindow for seasonal skills with new names and animations, a few affixes and a halfassed story, which 75% dont listen to.
Idiots... I've played season 7 and stopped because it's way too hard and I wasn't even able to reach torment 4 this time in a reasonable time and they want to make it even slower and harder? Like WTF?I haven't even finished season journey and battle pass in season 7 for a first time...If these changes go live, i'm not playing season 8 at all...
Because the progression during leveling is the only thing that slightly resembles "normal progression" and not D3 style of ridicule? Numbers should scale 1->2->5->8->10->20->30, not 1->2->10000->100 trillion..... And that's what happens in S7 within 6 hours. How the F is that fun? I have more enjoyment leveling classes than playing endgame, not because leveling is amazing, but because the current S7 state of ZUG ZUG BLAST RUSH NUKE BIG kills ANY fun, unless you're a 14-year-old teen that needs dopamine shots every 5 secs, otherwise gets bored in 2 min... Whoever says S7 progression was good - go see a psychologist, honestly...
More people than ever reached T4.For the first time ever they added an exclusive limitied time flying pet only obtainable after completing the last chapter of Season Objectives which required T4.Noo, those things can't possibly be related, the game must be made harder instead! We can't have players have fun and play for longer or be motivated to get rewards, this is clearly an issue that needs to be fixed so less players reach T4! Genius /s
I came back to Diablo 4 this season, to play the expansion and try a bit of endgame since the last time (season 4) I basically only completed the campaign and stopped. I created a sorcerer and I had a blast until I unlocked Torment 3. Even though my resistances were capped, I was getting oneshotted left and right. I had nice gear, most important items mastercrafted etc, but I realized that in order to reach Torment 4 I probably would have to grind gear while having other players kill stuff while I try not to die for too many hours and gave up. I was looking forward to try again in Season 8 with another character, but if they are planning to ramp up the difficulty more I probably skip season 8. It's a pity, really. I guess it would be easier if I used cookie cutters builds, but I hate chasing meta and I love making my own build with what I find fun rather than what is super efficient. Seems like S8 won't be for me. Hoping S9 will be.
Did they ever consider more people were able to get to T4 in S7 than S6 because they weren't playing the story mode?
