They really need to fix the memory leak, if it can bring down even 4080 Super something is really wrong.
Is hiring VA a feature for Season 9 too? Spanish voices are still text to speech / AI generated and they claimed it "was a bug" several weeks ago.
So, until now, it's the same skin season since the vampires, now the theme is horadric spells. Theres no creativity in this team.
They really need to pay more attention to their competitors and start stealing what works. People are fed up with rehashing of seasonal powers, we can't wait until an expansion in 2026 to fundamentally change the game -- D4 will be long dead before then.
Blizzard is completely lost, they have no direction and no idea on what to do with the game.
Maybe instead of short duration seasons with temporary mechanics, focus on the game, having 6 or 9 month seasons?Nerfing 80% of a core mechanism of the game shows that they dont know what to do.
Well, I don't do seasonal content, but I feel for all of you who do play that realm. All I see here is wasted efforts from Blizzard to appease a tiny select group of players, but not the entire player base. The copy and paste with a re-colour added in every new update (season) is really old stuff and needs to stop. Innovation and creativity are hallmarks of a bygone era in Blizzard's thought processes. All that really seems to count is that the coffers keep filling up to enrich the board of directors.I'd add in, as pointed out above, that out of the now possible 6 classes: Sorcerers, Necromancers, Rogues, Barbarians, Druids and Spiritborn, only 3-4 ever have the top "S" super build needed to clear the Pits past 100 to upgrade glyphs to the maximum attainable level. This kills a great deal of player's hopes when they do not like to switch classes. I know I am not the only one that plays one class only in this game so every new "Season" brings about changes that either help my preferred class choice or destroy it further. I used to play 12-14 hours a day, now I honestly don't care if I get 12-14 hours a month that is my choice and until the coders actually learn how to ensure proper calculations without bugs everywhere, its gonna stay that way.Balancing classes should never be a consideration, there will always be a class that can do better in DPS or survivability than another. If any of you have ever played table top Dungeons & Dragons, you'll know exactly what I mean: a fighter has a d10 die to roll hit-points (health, life...) on, giving them more health, stamina, and generally constitution thus they are tough characters to kill, but they do not have the ability to blow away a whole town of monsters with a single d40 fireball, the mages have the ability to cast super damaging spells, but they in turn are the weakest of the available character classes and so are perfectly called "Glass Cannons" as they tend to die quickly when surrounded by trash mobs beating on them.Players who think that all classes should have equal damaging abilities and equal health survival abilities don't get it.I put the devs in that group as well, because they are always listening to everyone complain about balancing out each class. Stop it and just make them all have their own good points and bad points, it is how a player "plays" their chosen class that actually helps them survive and know when to stand and fight or run away to fight another day.
I'm sorry but S8 sucks. I love Diablo and I play ALOT of D4 but I hope you fix this theng where myself and many other can't get into Tier 4? I'm level 240ish with at min a 1HA item in each slot and mast slots are 12/12 or 08/12 on 2 characters (Necro & Rogue). I can barely survive torm. III regular map and he'll area(s), forget about bosses! I can survive a little but don't do any DMG i.e. takes me mins to kill simplest of buffed enemies and I NEED to so clear seasonal objectives which apparently I will not get (for the 1st time in 8 seasons) step 6 or anything beyond! :(
