According to a new
Tweet from the official Diablo twitter page
, players who did not pre-purchase the game can still gain Early Access to the Open Beta through the Twitch Drops system throughout the upcoming Closed Beta testing weekend (Aug 20-22).
How to Claim Early Access on Twitch
1.
Click here to link your Battle.net Account with your Twitch Account
. This link will send you to the Twitch.tv Connections page, where you will need to sign into your Twitch account and link your Battle.net account.
2. Watch
Diablo II: Resurrected streams on Twitch.tv
that have
Drops Enabled
during the Closed Beta for at least 2.5 hours, starting Friday August 13th, 2021 at 10:00 AM PST and lasting until August 14th at 12:00 PM PST.
3. Claim your drop on the
Twitch.tv Home Page

4. Open your Battle.net Launcher to claim the Early Access. Open Beta will take place on
Friday, August 20th and run through Sunday, August 22nd
