on twitter, recently confirmed that we can expect at least a PTR for Diablo II: Resurrected soon:
Unfortunately, compared to other classes, the Necromancer has fallen somewhat short in Ladder Season One, and was the last class to have a player reach level ninety-nine.
In a new guide, Necromancer class writer Skulm examines some of the weaknesses of each of these prime Necromancer specs, and suggests changes that could make the Necromancer gameplay experience better. We've included a general look at the strengths and weaknesses of each build, detailed analysis and suggestions on how to improve each class's gameplay options, and discussion of some particular problem areas such as Uber Lilith issues, the "Poison Nova" bug, and over reliance on certain items like the Enigma runeword and the Death's Web Unearthed Wand.
