Dark Soul: Instability + Chaos Bolt gives enormous burst potential.

Good sustained damage.

Utility curses like Curse of Tongues and Curse of Exhaustion are strong when used at the right time.

Very disruptive against a lot of setup-based compositions.

Three schools of Magic, making interrupts a smaller issue than for other Warlock specializations.

Destruction Warlock Weaknesses in PvP

Immobile ‘turret’ caster.

Low mobility coupled with being quite squishy against straight up cleave damage limits your choice of classes to play with.

Easy for enemies to line of sight to avoid your damage.

Burst CDs are on a long cooldown.

Your biggest damage (Chaos Bolt) locks you out of all schools.

Unable to use defensives if locked on the Shadow school at the wrong time.

4-Set - Avatar of Destruction - When Chaos Bolt or Rain of Fire consumes a charge of Ritual of Ruin, you summon a Blasphemy for 8 seconds.

Dark PactPvP Talent Changes

NEWBonds of Fel - A cool new honor talent that is on the Fire school. Deals damage to and around the target player walking out of the circle. Extra effective if 2 or 3 players move out in the same direction and splash damage on each other as they walk out. It looks extra strong against melee cleaves as they will usually be stacked on top of you.

NEWShadow Rift - This talent simply teleports any players within the AoE to your port after a 2 second delay. It's nice as an extra tool to kite melees or bring your enemy way out of position behind your pillar for a potential swap far away from their healer.

Casting Circle radius increased to 5 yards (was 3 yards), lasts 12 seconds (was 8 seconds) and now spawns directly underneath the Warlock. This is an irrelevant change as you will rarely, if ever, play this talent anyway.

I don't see any description of what the Havoc+Mortal Coil combo is.

Edit: also of what the matchup for the Hopeless talent build is.

I swear. Entrenched in flames removal is absolutely gutting! If you get a melee class on you. You are basicly dead.
