Early Look at Stormsong Valley - New Zone in Battle for Azeroth
Stormsong Valley is a Kul Tiras zone in Battle for Azeroth, which recently opened on the BFA alpha. Located north of Tiragarde Sound, the fertile lands of the Stormsong Family are home to numerous farms and shipyards. All seaworthy Kul Tiran vessels are blessed by the ancient order of the Tidesages, a religious group who commune with the sea to guide the Kul Tiras' legendary fleet.
Note that this zone is unfinished, as it is missing many NPCs and has a lot of terrain issues (including dying and not being able to recover your body).

Battle for Azeroth, the next WoW expansion after Legion, has started its playable Alpha phase. This alpha is invite-only and we've received an invitation to join, shown below:

Battle for Azeroth Build 25976 - Profession Updates
The latest beta build included many profession updates, with most profession reagents now having a name instead of a placeholder tag.
Some professions also received exciting changes, like new mounts and new consumables!

Even more Legion Artifact Weapons have alternate '06' styles and tints in the latest Alpha build, including a celestial

Legion Alpha Zone Updates: Rogue Order Hall, Doubleagent in Monk Hall, Shrine of Malorne
The Rogue Order Hall received major updates in the newest Legion build. While Rogues are still in Dalaran, new passageways and details make the Order Hall feel more like a secretive lair and less like the sewers. This post takes a look at the additions as well as more minor updates to Val'sharah, the Warrior Order Hall, and Monk Order Hall.

Legion Alpha Blue Posts: New Specs and Zones, Tank, Healing, and Design Notes
The Legion Alpha is now playable again and Blizzard has made a post as well as a handy infographic showing what's available.
The new beta level cap is 106, up from 104.
Several more specs are testable: Vengeance Demon Hunter, Guardian Druid, Restoration Druid, Marksmanship Hunter, Discipline Priest, Elemental Shaman, Enhancement Shaman.
One more zone is available for questing:

It is true that we may have a lead on Sylvanas, and I want nothing more than to get my hands on the Banshee Queen, but the situation here at Greywatch requires immediate attention. Recently our guards have been spotting activity in the nearby woods. Not long after, several of them have fallen victim to vicious plague attacks. It appears that the Forsaken have discovered our camp, and are planning on unleashing a plague upon it. Find and destroy their plague caches before we lose more good soldiers!

We still have little knowledge of the Horde's activities in the region, but I'm hoping you can help change that. Lately the woods have been crawling with Sylvanas's agents. The few we have taken out have carried orders from her Dark Rangers, who are no doubt in command of her forces here. While you're on the hunt, keep an eye out for any scouting orders. They may help us pinpoint Sylvanas's objective in the area.

Updated Character Models Preview: Female Night Elf and Human, Male Draenei and Undead
Updated character models are a much-anticipated feature in Warlords of Draenor. Our
Warlords of Draenor Modelviewer
now shows new Human Female, Night Elf Female, Draenei Male, and Undead Male models, so we put together some previews! We've got videos of the new character model emotes as well as screenshots of the updated facial features on the Alpha.
Do note that these models are not final or completed - they are in-progress versions which will be subject to further iteration.

Frostfire Ridge and UI Changes
Keybindings are a lot nicer in alpha, there are different sections for each type so you don't have to scroll through a huge list.
Bags now have filters as well as a "Clean up Bags" option that resorts your bags. Junk items now have a gold coin image on their icon so you know to sell them.
The in-game shop option now has

for sale.
The Dungeon Journal now has a new role description section for bosses.
The map and quest log interface have been merged together. Bonus objectives for specific areas show up as swords on the map.
Mounts now show mounts you can't use in a certain zone as red.
There is a new achievement category,

, and MoP Challenge Mode achievements like

The basics of the Toybox UI are in, under a new Collections button.
There are lots of jumping games in the style of the Timeless Isle--chests located on cliffs that require some planning to reach. These contain Garrison materials.
The World map automatically turns transparent when it's open if you move.

Warlords of Draenor Alpha has begun!
Blizzard has announced the start of the Warlords of Draenor Alpha!
Of particular note:
There are some file formatting changes that are coming in WoW, which will affect how Wowhead gets data, so we look forward to handling all the changes!
Not all features will be available to test in the alpha--Garrisons are notably not available.
This marks the start of a very early Alpha stage for friends and family--it is quite limited and different from the start of MoP's beta.
