Void Wraith Secret - Become a Powerful Rare Mob!

A new secret has been discovered in Assault zones in Visions of N'Zoth, one that has ties with a previously unsolved item! As you complete this secret questline, you will become a powerful rare mob able to kill players. As this quest requires you to kill players, you can only do this with War Mode on.

How to Start This Secret?
Starting this secret requires you to first complete a small secret that was found very early on in the Battle for Azeroth beta - The
Blutschlange von Nazjatar
! The summoned mob that drops this mount, the
Jünger des Abgrunds
, also drop an
Abgrundäther
. For almost the entirety of Battle for Azeroth, people were dumbfounded about what this item did, as you would just use it and it would disappear from your inventory, seemingly with no effects to your character.
However, Visions of N'Zoth gives the Aether of the Abyss a purpose - In Uldum during a N'Zoth assault (and presumably during Vale, once the zone is going through a major assault), you will see more void cracks on the floor, and if you look close enough, you might find a small sliver of void power - A

The Void Wraith
Once you turn in
Splitter der Verderbnis
, you will immediately accept the next quest,
Enter the Void
, and be transformed into a Void Wraith!
The Void Wraith has 4.6m health and is hostile to
ALL
players. As a Void Wraith, you gain access to 6 abilities:
Leerenverwunden
: 1.5 second cast, deals light Shadow damage to an enemy in close range.
Leerenblitz
: 2 second cast, deals medium Shadow damage to an enemy at range.
Leerenzorn
: 5 second cast, deals heavy Shadow damage to all enemies in a 20y range.
Leerenverschiebung
: Instant cast, teleports up to 60 yards forward.
Leerenbindung
: 1.5 second cast, restores 2 to 5% of your maximum health every second for 10 seconds.
Schattenbarriere
: 3 second cast, absorbs some Magic damage and reduces Shadow damage taken. Lasts 1.5 minutes. 1 minute cooldown.
The
Enter the Void
quest requires you to kill 10 players, no matter the faction, as a Void Wraith without dying. Although the Void Wraith's abilities are seemingly very powerful, you will attract a lot of attention, as
you will be marked on nearby people's maps as a rare spawn
! Players are able to kill you, and they do get a good reward out of it - 50

. You even leave an unstable corrupted body behind when you die.
If you manage to kill 10 players as a Void Wraith, you get a slightly better reward - 66
