Watch the cinematic at the end of the Rastakhan encounter in the Battle of Dazar'alor.
Spoilers.
Rastakhan is defeated at the end of his encounter, and Talanji consoles him as he dies:
Talanji: Father...No....Please...Stay...Stay with me.
Rastakhan: Talanji, my daughter. I am so sorry.
Talanji: Hush, Father. shhh. It's all right.
Rastakhan: Forgive me...
Bwonsamdi's pact then leaves Rastakhan, crawling up Talanji's arm to her horror.
We then learn that Talanji was never told of Rastakhan's pact with Bwonsamdi after Zul's rebellion, an event that may have long-lasting consequences. Even Bwonsamdi sounds surprised that Talanji was not told of the bargain.
Talanji: Bwonsamdi....
Bwonsamdi: Yes? My Queen.
Talanji: What have you done to me?
Bwonsamdi: Oh! He didn't tell you about our bargain? Shame on him.
