Instantly Interrupt Shrouded Mini-Boss Zul'gamux Using Protection Paladin - Season 4 Mythic+ Tricks

The Dreadlord Mini-boss Zul'gamux from the Shrouded affix gives you 3 stacks of the buff, but can take a long time due to the healing from the Blood Siphon ability. However, players have found that a Protection Paladin can interrupt the ability immediately, preventing her from healing at all!

Protection Paladin Instant Interrupt
In order to instantly interrupt
Blutsog
, a Protection Paladin needs to have an
Schild des Rächers
try to interrupt the mob at the exact time when
Blutbarriere
goes up and the channel starts. This only seems possible with a Protection Paladin at the moment since
Schild des Rächers
is a projectile interrupt that can allow the tick rate to directly sync itself with the
Blutbarriere
going up.
You'll want to throw your shield towards the end of the cast. If you do it within a small window, the tick rate will correct the timing on your shield to land and perfectly and stop the channel immediately. This is reproduceable and you can likely practice this enough to hit it every time.
This may be possible with a regular interrupt, but you'd have to land your Interrupt at exactly the correct time with no correction from tick rate.

Why is This Important?
Zul'gamux
is worth 3 stacks of the Bounty buff, which is 6%. Even though it takes a long time, these extra stats can help you defeat some of the difficult bosses in Shadowlands Season 4. However,
Zul'gamux
can take a really long time, especially if DPS don't have (or don't use) cooldowns as
Blutbarriere
and
Blutsog
add a lot of extra health to the mob every time it casts.
However, if you can instantly stop the heal from occurring, this makes this mob take significantly less time!
As a side note, if you don't have a Protection Paladin, you should really consider using your cooldowns on this mob. It's usually worth it!
