Legendary rock band
KISS
has been found hiding in plain sight at the
Seat of the Primus
, the Necrolord covenant sanctum in Maldraxxus. Unlocked at the conclusion of the Maldraxxus portion of the Shadowlands campaign, four Necrolord NPCs can be found honoring the four current members of the group:
Scharfauge Stanley
(Paul Stanley),
Bewerter Simmons
(Gene Simmons),
Erak Stahlsänger
(Eric Singer), and
Schüler Thayer
(Tommy Thayer).
Well known for their over the top live shows featuring smoke and pyrotechnics, much of the groups fame has attributed to their theatrics and in particular the stage makeup worn by its members throughout the majority of their 47 year career. With costume and makeup, each member would take on a different persona - the Starchild (Stanley), the Demon (Simmons), the Spaceman (Thayer, originally Ace Frehley), and the Catman (Singer, originally Peter Criss).
Formed in 1973, KISS is regarded as one of the most influential and best selling bands of all time, having earned 30 Gold albums, 14 Platinum albums, and three multi-Platinum, as well as being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. Although delayed by the pandemic, the group is currently engaged in their final

, although frontman Paul Stanley has stated that it isn't over for the band and KISS will still continue on outside of touring.
