Dragonflight Talent Tree First Impressions - Dratnos and Tettles Discuss

The first two Dragonflight talent tree previews are out for
Death Knight
and
Druid
.
In this week's GG WoW video Dratnos and Tettles take a quick look at the newly revealed Talent Trees and deliver some first impressions. The way the trees generally appear to function is that the top half or so contain mostly current abilities and passives that we get for free plus some existing talents, while the bottom half contain some very exciting effects, many of which were previously seen in systems like Artifact Weapons, Azerite Armor, Torghast Powers, Set Bonuses, and Conduits. The generic class tree also offers several effects that aren't new to one of the specs but are new to the others, such as
Wille der Nekropole
for DPS DKs.
As long as it doesn't feel like most or all points need to be spent to bring us back to the kit that we have now, this system is pretty exciting, as it promises some exciting choices and potentially the ability to stack multiple power effects that we've never been able to play with at the same time before.
One other revelation from the preview was the return of
Mark of the Wild
, an iconic Druid raid buff from early in the game's history. Is the addition of more such raid buffs a good or bad thing? Should everyone have one? Or does it just not matter since Druids are so ubiquitious that there's always one in almost every raid anyway?
What do you think about the Talent Trees (or Mark of the Wild)? Let us know down in the comments!
