Cosmic Flux on Patch 9.2 PTR - Drop Amounts in Zereth Mortis, Costs to Upgrade Legendaries

The new Legendary upgrade currency, Cosmic Flux, drops from Zereth Mortis and most end-game activities in Patch 9.2. The currency has finally been implemented on the latest PTR build, allowing to see how much we get per week. On this post, we go through the currently known sources and amounts used to upgrade legendaries!
Remember that this is on the PTR and the drop rate or the costs may change at any time.
Cosmic Flux Sources
Cosmic Flux can be obtained from most end-game activities and in Zereth Mortis.

The Rank 7 Legendary upgrade will cost

(no Soul Ash/Cinders required for Rank 6 to Rank 7 upgrades). If your Legendary is not already Rank 6, you'll also have to pay the remaining

The chart below shows the TOTAL amount of currency needed to craft a Legendary of that rank. If you are upgrading from a lower rank, you'll be able to subtract any currency that you've already paid, because... well you've already paid it.

will also be used to craft Tier Pieces by using the Creation Catalyst forge, but unfortunately this system has not been made available to test yet. Once the system becomes available on the 9.2 PTR, we will test it out and give you the values required to craft a Tier set piece.
