5000 Character Specific Achievement Points on a Level 1 Twink

Warcraft players love creating challenges for themselves, whether leveling a
character of every class and spec
, making their way to
maximum level as a pacifist Pandaren
or reaching
Rank 14 in Classic WoW before level 60
. Today we have a new category to celebrate, as Winterly has reached
5000 character specific achievement points on their Level 1 Hunter
, aptly named Achievements.
Unfortunately the video doesn't provide a lot of context as to exactly which achievements went into this feat, although we can see a mix of collection, exploration, and rare mob encounters in the Recent Achievements listing. Winterly does boast an impressive list of
11 level 1 twink characters
, and even makes
videos showcasing the low level gear
used on them.
I didn't actually think I'd be able to do this, especially before Shadowlands (I came close haha) but one of my many many goals on my 1 twink finally came possible last night when I hit 5000 achievements on my level 1 twink.
Thanks to everyone that has ever helped or supported me on my journey.
All achievements are character specific, no account wide achievement is counted towards the 5k etc.
Next step? 6k ofc
Twinking is a time honored tradition in MMORPGs, referring to optimizing low level characters, while purposefully keeping them from leveling up out of certain brackets or to max level. In
World of Warcraft
, this is made significantly easier than msot games, due to the ability to completely turn off experience gains by visiting the NPC
Behsten
in Stormwind or
Slahtz
in Orgrimmar. Players that twink generally do so either out of the desire for a challenge, or to engage in lower level PvP brackets, although there are a lot of reasons why players may choose to do so. With
websites
and
communities
dedicated to the effort, it's now easier than ever to get into and find likeminded people to play with.

The account-wide achievements for sure hurt twinks that did this kind of thing, but its still possible, just gotta ignore a lot of achievements that just won't count.
I never thought 5k was possible at all. Now i dont think 6k is possible lol
