I wanted to get a pair, sadly the AH on RP servers either prices these on par with 85 epics or not at all. Anyone have some recommendations for places to try and farm? I tried DM but the ogre area was a bust ( 1 green entire run ) and elven area was a mix of mostly 38 gear.

So Winna and her kitten may have a best individual drop rate, but it's still only 2 kills per about 1.5 minutes depending on the spawn rate you can get it to. I ran Zul'Farrak, because I can do a run of that place killing everything in about 20-30 min, and got them to drop on the 7th run. I also got quite a few other desirable greens along the way. ;)

Anyone know any look-alike leggings of these? Like a drop in an instance, or reward from a quest? Can't seem to find these at all.

Believe it or not there are an exact copy of these in outlands somewhere in terrok forrest from a quest I can't remember where but they are some blue ones from a quest i believe.

I just spent that last 4 days farming these pants from Zul'Farrak and they definitely drop here. I am a frost DK and i started each of the 34 runs it took me to get this piece by picking up all the adds, taunting them and collecting all the mobs and using LOS so i wouldn't constantly get hexxed or slowed while farming. I pulled everything from the start and went left and followed the path until you bottleneck by the gong . I LOS between the jars collected all the mobs together and HB everything into oblivion. I do the same for the remainder of the instance stopping to kill all the mobs by the zombie things (i released all of them and got some greens from the tombs and all that).

It took a long time but i also managed to earn the Jade Bracers x3, Jade belt and Jade gloves in the process. Another transmog set that I intend to farm up as well. All in all, it can be farmed but it takes patience :D Just make sure you don't try chain pulling everything in the instance while soloing it as the corpses tend to despawn (not sure why) even if you haven't looted them after a time. I end up with 3 giant piles of mobs at the end and didn't have issue's with things despawning anymore after that!

I got super lucky and TWO dropped in one run. One from a Zandalari, and one from a scarab. So when you run, make it a FULL clear! :D

Though it took me 4 runs to get 1 of these and 1 breastplate. Nice quick money maker, though I plan to keep the first set.

These legplates are the same model as , but are red/gray in color and a lot easier to obtain than the Jade set overall.

Zul'Farrak is a great place to get this item if you don't like to farm world mobs. It is not unreasonable for you to get it in less than 5-10 runs. You also have a good chance in doing this to get the .

If you are after the entire set, Dire Maul should be your next destination, because Zul'Farrak is too high in level to have a good chance at getting you the boots, gloves, and shoulders. From what I've seen doing a quick glance at the mobs who have been shown to drop those three items, the best Dire Maul instance to drop them is West.
