Craft Laterne von Aln'hara with Ritualstein des Jägers Explanation

This is Shadow's best in slot craft and it pair's excellently with Jan'thrazet, der Seelenfang.

Craft Ritualmesser des Magisters with Ritualstein des Jägers Explanation

Until you acquire Jan'thrazet, der Seelenfang, you have the option to craft a dagger for the short term power spike.

Craft Gamaschen des Märtyrers with Arkanostofffutter Explanation

Shadow's BIS embellishment on a high ilvl value slot that isn't easy to get at mythic. This is a crafting choice meant to maximise the individual value of each crafted item, not necessarily to prepare for BIS.

Replace Low Item Level Pieces.

Craft Seidenschleier des Anhängers with Arkanostofffutter Explanation

Shadow's best in slot embellishment, the same as early on, only moved to lower value slots.

CraftBindungen des Märtyrers with Arkanostofffutter Explanation

Shadow's second best choice, an Arcanoweave lining on the lowest value gear slot.

If you are a CE Mythic Raider, Craft Hüfttuch des Märtyrers with Arkanostofffutter instead of cloak.Explanation

With access to 9/6 items from the last two bosses, you will want Seidenes Voodootuch. There is no 9/6 belt so this slot is a safe endgame craft.

Replace Low Item Level Pieces.

Cool guide, but I think there are several mistakes in the bosses displayed in the last section.

Cheers!

Kommentar von Svarteduden

The headpiece is the same as the shoulderpiece on your list..

Kommentar von Radoznali

Also some pieces are not same for horde and alliance

Kommentar von macgruder

Curious about the lack of mention of Benthic gear.

Kommentar von Xelnia

I think this should be self-explanatory, but this guide only shows the best items that drop from the raid, it isn't actually a Shadow Priests's exact BiS gear.

Kommentar von Acel

"From early sim data, intellect is worth 3 times as much as haste, which is our top secondary stat. Due to the vast amounts of sources of gear and the limited amount of time pre patch will be available, it's not recommended to completely swap to a haste/mastery set as a full haste/crit set isn't too far behind and still does comparable DPS."

If that's the case shouldn't Vita be dropped for other trinkets in Nyalotha such as Humming Black Dragonscale that has INT and can proc haste or Forbidden Obsidian Claw that has INT and a very strong on demand DOT or even Manifesto of Madness that also has INT and the ability to get Crit/Vers (though they are on the lower end of our secondaries).

Might need to take a second look at this?

Error Report: The 3rd box on the page, “Shadow Priest Simulations” links to: https://www.wowhead.com/guides/demonology-warlock-simulations

Kommentar von dawnhart

Sinful Gladiator's Badge, there is one that has haste and not crit with the same effect that is probably even better.

Kommentar von Sneakypork

Why is the weapon section talking about resto druids?

Kommentar von Cima

Kind of outdated already since Mastery beats Crit and a lot of the displayed gear has Crit on it. There are probably better Options

Kommentar von Psychaholic

The Mythic+ gear lists two items as drops from Halls of Valor, but they are actually from The Nokhud Offensive.

The Ukhel Ancestry Beads necklace:
Perlen der Ukhelahnen

and the Furious Ragefeather trinket:
Wilde Rachfeder

Kommentar von Iruga

The trinkets seem way off, Spiteful Storm is not good, Invokers Codex is much better its also from Raszegath and not Nokhud. Both of the PvP trinkets are better than most listed as well.

Kommentar von amaniaa

Anyone figured out the best way to use the fire rings in shadow spec? I know you can use the Eye of Skovald but is that the only way?

Kommentar von Jas1088

What about the pvp trinkets? they seems like they are really good after upgrading them a little.

Kommentar von IKEAshark

i feel like the neck off of the assault of the zaqali is better Kagnis versengender Talisman

Kommentar von pjstar35

Based on my sims I think the Glove Slot is going to be a better slot for the Schattenflammengehärteter Rüstungsflicken embellishment than the Chest due to the Griff des Schmelzofenseraphs being heavy on Versatility and light on Haste. The heavy Crit on Befehlsrobe des Schmelzofenseraphs is going to outweigh the relatively small amount of Haste on the Gloves.

Kommentar von pjstar35

This list seems to be missing Naraxas' Hakenzunge from Neltharion's Lair which is actually the best Trinket overall for Shadow Priest and should go nicely with Schätze von Neltharus since the Naraxas trinket isn't an on-use trinket.

Kommentar von Virasio

I think, that section "Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible Best in Slot Gear for Shadow Priest" has error. BiS chest from the AtSC is Reanimator's Wicked Cassock. We do not need 5 piece of the set.

Kommentar von Taotao10

I really don't like how half the trinkets this tier are just not mentioned in the trinket tier list.

Kommentar von avm1997

How does a Shadow Priest proc Seal of Diurna's Chosen? It seems like a waste of bullions.

Kommentar von Oblivious

"Ominous Chromatic Essence you should aim to use either the Emerald or Obsidian buffs." - Emerald is crit, which is listed as one of the worst stats (to the point of classifying Screaming Black Dragonscale as an "F" trinket, because its proc gives crit. So... that doesn't really make sense.

Kommentar von mattLorien

Hello! I'm wondering why Rod of Perfect Order (offhand) isn't better than Trickster's Captivating Chime (offhand)? They both have the same int, they're both haste/mastery, but Perfect Order has more haste than Trickster's. I thought Haste was our better stat? Surely Rod of Perfect Order is better, then?

Kommentar von ash1k1

There's Warlock Tier suggested in the M+ BiS section.

Kommentar von fh1988

If we go for all secondary stats stones on Circe's, shouldn't the third slot be the Windsinger's instead of the Skipper's?

Kommentar von mplh89

I'm curious whether this late in the season we should be holding on to Circe's circlet, what with higher level stats with mid- to top-level heroic or mythic rings available.

Kommentar von AlwaysJuke

I didnt know i was checking Affliction Warlock (Soleah trinket explanation KEKW).

Kommentar von TheMeTree

I was reading through the bis list in the post, but it leaves me confused. You've listed the Locus-Walker's Ribbon trinket as best in slot trinket in the top 4 most important items from the raid, and then 2 seconds later you rate the same trinket as B-tier in the tier list. Which of the 2 is it? Would love to know.
