Craft Manaschwert des Magisters with Dunkelmondsiegel: Jagd Explanation

Crafting a Weapon always a great idea as it is the biggest immediate upgrade. It will last you through most, if not all, of the Season. Dunkelmondsiegel: Jagd is the best embellishment to put on Weapons for us. Unheilvolle Hexerklinge on Mythic, will be the best in slot weapon once you are able to get that from Coiled Altar.

Craft Zurechtweisung des Zauberbrechers with Arkanostofffutter Explanation

Crafting a Shield early is smart for the same reasons as crafting a Weapon is. It is significant boost in power and will last you a long time.

Replace Low Item Level Pieces that you know will not be replaced by things like Tier pieces.

Bösartiger GeisterknüppelSeidenes Voodootuch

Craft Armschienen des Zauberbrechers with Arkanostofffutter

Craft Entschlossenheit des Zauberbrechers with Arkanostofffutter

Best Embellishments for Holy Paladin

Dunkelmondsiegel: Jagd is the best embellishment, but can only be put on weapons. Like previous expansions, embellishments are only minor throughput gains, and you will eventually replace your crafted weapon with a Mythic one and instead craft a second item with the second best embellishment.

Arkanostofffutter is our second best embellishment.

Weapon and Shield
Weapon and Shield will always be your best item to prioritize getting to a high item level. However, since you can also craft weapons and may choose this option, it might be better to focus on upgrading strong trinkets first. Do not upgrade these if you're planning on crafting them!

Strong Trinkets
Good trinkets are also always going to be great to upgrade, as they tend to scale well with item level and will not be replaced easily or at all.

High Stat Pieces
Following weapons, shield, and trinkets, you should simply begin upgrading your high stat pieces such as Chests, Legs, and Helmets.

Bonus Rolling with Nebulous VoidcoresNebulöser Leerenkern

Ula'tek - Until you get to Mythic Ula'tek, your top priority is to get the two cantrip items on Myth track by bonus rolling Heroic.

There are only two items on our loot table, Reliquiar des Aqirfluches and Beinlinge des ungebundenen Grolls, and we want both of them.

The Lost Explorers - These Turtles have an excellent loot table for us, including weapon, shield, and a decent trinket.

If you crafted Weapon and Shield already, you bonus roll it in Retribution Loot Spec.

Nek'zali the Soulcoiler - I recommend bonus rolling this boss until you get Ritualgefäß des Seelenwinders.

Nice and helpful guide. I found just a little mistake in the table of BiS. Schienbeinschützer der schleichenden Dunkelheit drops from Zek'voz, not from Taloc.

Kommentar von zeke21

BoD bis is wrong, fangs of interwined essence is one of our worst trinkets, and anything in BoD is easily better value. Azerite gear is also wrong, doesn't include any piece with breaking dawn trait which is pretty much a mandatory take in raid or M+.

Kommentar von Marticel

I think that the azerite head piece, Sea-Brawler's Greathelm from Freehold, has better traits than the one from BoD that you've listed.
This piece has Grace of the Justicar, Breaking Dawn, Blessed Portents and Resounding Protection.

Kommentar von TherealBadjoe

Id like to add Shockbiter's Fang to the trinket list for us Glimmer Pallies. The Short CD pairs really well with Vision of Perfection's minor power. It drops of the World Boss "Wekemara" in Nazjatar.

Kommentar von Scelero

Update this.

Why the random crit/haste pieces for the back/boots? Is it because you only think BIS comes from Eternal Palace?

Because that's not the case and labeling the section the way you do is very misleading.

You can get better gear from doing mythic dungeons, and in combination of raids. But anyone coming to this fresh will get a very weird impression on what they should aim for.

Kommentar von slatki

Neck slot is missing.

Kommentar von benstar279

Why is there a Nyalotha Shield in the Item section? guess you need to fix it.

Kommentar von Recanna

The I'gynoth shield is BIS in SL? Seems sus.

Kommentar von Spotnick

Missing a neck in those pre-raid bis lists

Kommentar von QueenZiaxz

Wrathbark Greathelm comes from Ingra Maloch in Mists of Tirna Scithe. You have it listed as Theater of Pain.

Kommentar von UrbanRabbi

Several items under SOD BiS have the wrong drop location and boots do not have a domination socket. The bracers linked should have a domination socket.

Kommentar von GreenWithEnvy

The dungeon BIS offhand "Barricade of the Endless Empire" drops from ToP not HoA.

Kommentar von Xanderloff

Please update the Mythic+ BiS Loot Table.
50% of the items have incorrect drop locations.
These include; Shoulders, Chest, Bracers, Belt, Legs, Boots, Ring 1, Ring 2
See below for correct drops!

Shoulders: Theater of Pain
Chest: Halls of Atonement
Bracers: Sanguine Depths
Belt: De Other Side
Legs: Halls of Atonement
Boots: Plaguefall
Ring 1: Theater of Pain
Ring 2: Plaguefall

Kommentar von Sokrydes

As a total holy pally noob, it would have been nice to get an explanation to why a one handed weapon and shield is better than a two handed weapon.

Kommentar von jet8745

Recommending Vial of Spectral Essence and then ranking it as C grade is a bit sus :)

Kommentar von Lauranthis

Here are a couple things I found odd:

Unchained Gladiator's Badge of Ferocity doesn't drop from Prototype of War.
Vial of Spectral Essence being recommended and then being ranked "C" tier (like Jet8745 posted).
Titanic Ocular Gland being recommended as "A" tier, unless you happen to have the 252 version and even then it should be outdone by the Elegy of the Eternals (which is what I think you meant to link as BiS from Prototype)

Either way, I appreciate the time it takes to make pages like this, so please take this as me trying to be helpful. Thanks for the guides!

Kommentar von crankyjanks

A lot of this guide has incorrect items or drops listed. A pvp trinket listed under a raid boss, for example.

Kommentar von Codered31

Soleah's Secret Technique is S tier over on Icy Veins. It's also the most used trinket for top mythic raiders and high level m+ keys.... How is it not even on your trinket tier list at all lmao?

Kommentar von snurfy

On questionably epic which you recommend to compare trinket you it list idol of the dream as 3rd best for mythic+, is there a reason it's not listed in your BiS guide?

Kommentar von FrostyDwarf

You have Mote of Sanctification as a drop from Nokhud Offensive. It actually drops from Halls of Valor. Also you have it listed as BiS but down in the list of trinkets, there are others ahead of it. Furthermore, your stat priority for M+ has Mastery as the worst stat and the Mote gives Mastery. Some clarification on this would be good.

Kommentar von Nayuribe88

Thanks! But trinket Mote of sanctification is from Halls of valor and not Nokhud... I just realized today cause I didnt check the dungeon loot in game, was running Nokhud to get that trinket and after a lot of frustrating runs noticed that its from Halls of valor :/

Kommentar von munix

In the table "Mythic+ Best in Slot Gear for Holy Paladin", Mote of Sanctification is listed as dropping from Nokhud, but it actually drops from Halls of Valor.

Kommentar von Rudy199

You have the cloak from Sarkareth recommended as the cloak for holy paladin yet scrolling down it's the crafted cloak as the main priority. Then which one is it? I think the cloak from last boss should ever be used by a range dps like mage.

Kommentar von 7upyourz

Where does Balefire Branch fall on the trinket list?

Kommentar von Viking101

So looking at the teir set page it says best teir is head, shoulder, gloves and chest. But on the BIS table you have legs tier in the mix and gloves off a different boss? just bit confuse? or is this a weird craft theory idea?

Kommentar von NosTheHitman

I know this isn't on our loot table, but I recently have been running Verderbtes Sternenlicht. While running it with holy it seems to be really doing damage. In most runs its my top damage. You number guys go have fun. :D

Kommentar von Quaaid

Super annoying to not say which Dawn of the Infinite wing the BiS items come from (Rise or Fall). Lazy. Other guides make that distinction.

Kommentar von Hubris21

"Belor'relos, the Suncaller and Fyrakk's Tainted Rageheart drops from the raid, but they are so good compared to any available dungeon trinkets that it would be disingenuous to not include them." Ok, but I can only raid once a week. The whole point of me clicking on the M+ loot table was to see what upgrades I could spam farm now.

Kommentar von Rosiefox

Gale of Shadows procs from your Consecration / Righteous Judgement Consecration so Lightsmith can keep 100% uptime if they simply hit a mob with Consecration.

Kommentar von ntweedie2007

I'm surprised Void-touched Fragment from delves in S3 isn't mentioned. It seems to have very good uptime and a high amount of Mastery. Thoughts? I have an option for a Hero track one in vault this week...

Kommentar von Moonstaker

I think the trinket section needs revision for part-way into patch 12.0. Litany of Lightblinded Wrath has turned out to be pretty awful for hps (yes absorbs get more value but its still not enough to be strong). The dps element is also pretty bad, at myth level its doing around 1.5 Judgments in damage per stack. Unless you're just sending judgments every 5ish secs, you'll need to spend Holy Shocks to proc it faster, or slam it with SotR; both of which are better spent on other things. At 3/6M its 15,343 damage x5 targets, equalling 76, 715 in absorbs, x5 again for each stack equalling 383,575. Across a raid its a pretty small blanket, its decent in keys, but you also need to invest resources to trigger the effect. Don't think it ever actually hit those sorts of levels in a real world environment either. But trinkets like Vaelgor at H level is bumping me up by 30-40% Mastery, and I'm able to bank Holy Power/Combo with cds into it.

Vaelgors final stare is extremely strong too, strong enough to be at S-tier, as its pretty closely tied with Ribbon and Alnseer's. Its a 1.5min cd, so linking it only to 2min wings is a bit sad, its definitely strong enough to stand as a viable burst trinket especially with banked Holy Power for LoD+Unending Light.
