The problem with green quests is that you two shot mobs and that's no fun.
In fact, I'm kind of annoyed that I'm two shotting yellow mobs . . .
Start running around naked.

It's not the killing the mobs too fast that is buggin', it's the exp gained from quests that is too much too fast. So less armor, more mobs, whatever isn't really the answer.
Blizzard lowered the XP gain from dungeon QUESTS but merely doing the dungeons is still the best XP you can get, so that's not the answer either.
There are now technically 2 ways to level. You can in theory level completely on Kalimdor OR Eastern Kingdom with the new level ranges for each zone. A solution to the leveling too fast might be to level in both areas of the level range you are shooting for (maybe 10 levels bellow you) so that you have to do both zones to = 1 zone at your level. This wouldn't solve the problem of 2 shoting everything, but neither would the XP decrease of 50%. It would however make you experience more of the world, and double your questing experience as well as give you the new Loremaster achieve (in theory, assuming you did everything)
Hope the idea helps.

Yes, it is
I want slow level not because I can't do green/grey quests, but because I want mobs lasting more that two hits.
In which case, the 50% exp loss will not effect how fast you kill a mob. You would still end up doing both zones for the level to = 100% exp.

If you don't like how fast you're killing things, try not using your heirloom weapon.

You can talk to the guy that stops XP, even though it may be very expensive if you don't have a high level character on the same server.
In any case, I have the same problem. I have no heirlooms, no rested time, I run no dungeons and have no bonuses whatsoever and all my quests are gray now, and I'm only level 30. I believe leveling - which I find the most fun part of the game - is way too fast.
It's also completely out of sync with professions. To level something like Enchanting without buying items from the auction house you must do all zones (for example, all level 20-25 zones), which makes the problem only worse.
Hell, I'm even having problems leveling First Aid (and I don't have tailoring).(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##Koper##DELIM##

Here's an idea: If your leveling too fast and threatening to leave the zone...Stop. Go back, gather the mats, work on that for a while, then, when your skilled up enough, continue on.
