yes you can solo it, but DO NOT try huge pulls..pull one group a time, and try to avoid agro from the spiders at all costs because they silence, thats the only time i die doing it on my prot paladin, i was doing it at mid 60-low 70..im now 75 and got most fo my saronite tank gear and think i might go back and try bigger pulls :D

I'm a prot Paladin. I've soloed in Stratholme at level 62/63. I've only nibbled around the edges but I survived most pulls. I reckon by 70 it should be no problem. I love instances with undead :D
I read Scholomance is one of the most lucrative and efficient dungeons at that kind of level. Wowwiki reckons it's soloable at 70 but you still have to be cautious.
I was soloing Dire Maul East at level 65 last week and that feels pretty comfortable now. I took out a number of the bosses there. Haven't tried all of it yet, though.

You know...the easiest way to figure it out is to go and try. As prot, you should rarely have issues if you are careful in strat, scholo; however, everyone has different capabilities, so just go and try it.

at level 80 you can pretty much agro 3-4 rooms and consecrate them down
done it, goes pretty well
helps to hide behind a wall, to get all those range magic mobs in your melee range.
but as stated above, it all depends on your gear
at lvl 70, smaller pulls, get water and health food on you so you won't go back too often in town

The best advice I can give anyone about soloing is that just because you can solo it doesn't mean you can full pull it. Treat your character like you are a 5-man and pull one pull at a time. You are the dps, you are the tank, but above all you are the healer. If it gets too easy, do 2 packs at once.
Note that being a paladin, you shouldn't really run out of mana because nobody really does that these days, but I advise macro'ing your Holy Light to something like:
#showtooltip
/cancelaura divine plea
/cast holy light
Makes it so if you HAVE to heal, at least you're not taking half a heal.

Moving back onto Stratholme. The silence from the spiders can be removed with Hand of Freedom, or a pvp trinket, or the Human racial. This is because
Enveloping Web
is a movement impairring effect, that has an effect that "also" silences.
It's soloable at level 60 as Prot, in T2.5 with a mix of BC stam/def greens.

I get were you're going with this macro but it's in no way effective. Pretty much 66% of the time you'll lose one tick from DP because you're canceling it before you cast HL and not before you're done casting.
Macro
/cancelaura Divine Plea
/cast Divine Plea
Instead and you click that button before you land your HL. If you're not attentive enough to know when you do and dont use DP the cause is kinda lost.

u mean even baron?
at 70 while full epic t5 mostly it was the only one i couldnt kill. Was getting OOM and he was regaining his HP
You are doing it wrong then, I was able to down Baron with no problem at 70 with outland greens and blues. Was able to do with my DK at 68.

You're doing it very wrong. Unless you kill the skeletons he summons he'll heal himself.
I was able to solo strat baron several times from 60 to 70 the first time being at 60 for my epic mount quest.
