I wish, druid was never balanced, all ccs got nerfed since wow release and druid is still immune to polymorh in his form have instant shapeshifts heals, huge advantage on other classes in hands of gladiator...

I've got a druid and I believe making some sort of casting time for forms wouldn't be a default choice among others, but one thing that would make both druids and rest classes happy is to add an animation for every form, such as worgens have when they shift from human to worgen state. Would be cool for druids instead of just *poof*- I'm a bear *poof*- I'm a tree, etc and would take atleast a global CD to be able to cast your spells. It's a win-win situation, everyone is happy! (might be some whining from some pvp druids, though it'd become a bit more challenging).

Normally I just tell people to stop QQing but them casting HoTs and switching to bear form eliminates any chance of you killing them as a paladin if they have a somewhat higher ilvl no matter how good you are. Drop any HoTs casted on a druid when shifting is my only suggestion.

For serious -- you come to the Druid forum expecting constructive feedback on your QQ post about how "OP" a basic class mechanic is?

Grow up, junior.

If Druids were "OP" there would be many more of us among the elite PvP ranks -- L2P and stop your incessant whining. Here's a suggestion -- next time you get owned, get better. Don't piss and moan about your inadequacies.

First of all dont tell me to L2P! I have tryed every $%^&ing this last 7.5 years! I can only beat under geared druids...

I die all the time in pvp.... sometimes by single people, mostly by 2+ though.

I think its just a simple PEBKAC ("Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair" ) issue.

PvP is not a solo aspect of the game, thats the exact reason why there are no 1v1 Arenas, because it's stupid. same thing with Dueling... never see people dueling anymore, because 1v1 balance is non-existant.

GROUP UP. KILL THE BEAR. ?. PROFIT.

Well, perhaps my tone was a bit harsh - I apologize.

My point is simply that your suggestion is an absolute class-breaking change to all aspects of the game; and the only reason you want it seems to be because you have trouble stopping a flag runner by yourself or beating a Druid in 1v1.

Even if we accept as truth that Druids are 'naturally overpowered' in those two specific scenarios (which I think is a stretch), they represent such a tiny (and ultimately inconsequential) fraction of the PvP / overall game experience, that your suggestion of crippling the core mechanic of the class for the sake of "balance" in only those situations seems pretty silly, or at least underthought.

I would suggest that rather than brainstorming ways to cripple the Druid class to make your PvP experience better (as a sidenote, I think you'd get much more constructive feedback on that topic in a non-Druid forum), you should just identify actions you can take to deal with the specific situations you've spoken about -- they definitely exist.
