I'm wondering if this is going to be 17% or if it will be lowered. With the +hit% talents in several casting trees getting reduced, this number may be painfully annoying to reach before you start raiding.

my guess is it will remain 17% if not go higher. yeah it'll be a pain, but im sure that the gear we get from raids will give more and more hit and make things go smoother.

Not only are we getting less +hit from talents, but the sheer amount of +hit you'll need is going to increase, what with how rating works. It's sure gonna be fun trying to get capped now! I bet everyone's gonna have to wear 8 items with nothing but +hit just to get close.

Hybrids won't have much of an issue with all +hit covering spell hit and melee hit, and crit covering spell crit and melee crit. You'll probably see lots of cross-over gear.

Totem of Wrath doesn't add +hit anymore, so spriests/moonkins are the only raid + spell hit buff (and indeed they won't stack).

If anyone here resumes this thread, which I hope they will, please note that Commanding Shout does stack with Stamina buffs as Commanding Shout adds a fixed amount of HEALTH not Stamina. I would like to know what hit rating a Shaman without Elemental Precision would need to reach hit cap, if anyone can answer that question.
