It sounds like what he's saying is this:
There are flaws with the game, the devs (Ghostcrawler in particular) aren't as brilliant as they appear, but everyone just accepts that they are superior because they are "the devs" and will ignore anything that points it out to the contrary and they perpetuate the illusion that they're "just like us".
Specifically he's saying that Blizzard crushes negative feedback and hypes up the positive feedback to keep the sheep thinking everything is sunshine and rainbows and pretend that nothing is wrong with the game.
That's what I gathered after a read, anyways.

Yep, most companies I've seen squash anything negative; the problem I think is that they are doing it to the point of disregarding any criticism, even accurate criticism, or anything negative. IMO the good ones will take criticism that has merit (as opposed to standard "omg <x> sux nurf plx!11" type of comments) but only the bad places think they can do no wrong and anyone who even hints that there is a problem needs to be eliminated and silenced.
I could be wrong with what he's saying, but I think that's the gist of it: Blizz thinks they can do no wrong and most of the community buys into that mentality.
However, I read his post twice and I'm still kinda trying to wrap my head around it so... :)

Aestu, isn't this kind of thing best reserved for your blog? :P
I play WoW because I enjoy WoW, not because of any 'personality cult'. I don't even bother visiting the actual community forums because of their socially-radioactive nature. I recognize there are problems with the game - but the entertainment value I receive from the game outweighs those flaws, and so I keep playing.
