Anywhoo, that is my rant. If an individual did this on several accounts, my suggestion is to make it so only one IP can rate something instead of one account
(or limit the amount of ratings an account can gain/lose in a day?). If a moderator did this, my question is why.
Bad idea, I wouldn't be able to rate things at school :(
Even worse idea, spammers can get away with everything.

Your comments arent exactly the most helpful and you've just copy/pasted them onto every spell related to the first one

Because it's a free forum, and if people don't find your information useful, they will down rate it.

Would you have known that the
Rich Elementium Vein
has a chance to drop
Pebble
, based solely on the data wowhead provides? Definitely not, since wowhead doesn't show it as possible loot.
Elementium Geode, not Pebble.
While I must admit that it's not listed in the objects page, all the information is in
http://www.wowhead.com/item=67282#comments:0
Would you have known that the
Razzashi Hatchling
is now an STV-wide drop as of 4.0.3a without my comment? Maybe now yes, but there is no way you could tell when I originally posted the comment.
You mean other than the dozens of posts "I got it from a panther/goblin/etc?"
You're holding too much pride in your comment, it is useful, it is concise, but you're overvaluing it.
Would you have known that
Withers
has a unique feature where it becomes progressively slower over time until it comes into contact with water? Hmm, I don't think so because it doesn't say that anywhere in the data wowhead provides.
Umm, yea, right
here
.
I think I have proved my point that my comments are in fact helpful.
No.

Your arguement is based on the fact that you assume someone has targeted your comments.
Biased much?

Although they clearly are useful since I was uprated consistently since I started commenting
I haven't looked at all your comments, but like I said, you put too much pride in your comments.
For one, Guild Pages and Heralds do not share the same model.
Two, the source is in the tabs.
Three, you've linked the horde Herald in the Alliance Page comment.
Not all of your comments are useful, in fact, most of them seem to be repetitive.
I have a load more to say, but I won't.
PS. IF SOMEONE WAS TARGETING YOU WITH MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS, ALL OF YOUR COMMENTS WOULD HAVE THE SAME NUMBER OF MINIMUM DOWNRATES, THIS IS NOT THE CASE, MOST LIKELY, PEOPLE JUST DIDN'T FIND YOUR COMMENTS USEFUL.

Wait, so let me get this straight. You think there's one guy downrating you on multiple accounts, and that it MUST be that because there's NO WAY that your inane, repetitive comments could possibly be annoying?

So let me get this straight, even if the vast majority finds my information useful, if one person dislikes me they have the right to make several accounts and downrate all of my comments because "it's a free forum"? If that's the case, someone can go ahead and close this thread because I didn't know that.
Can you actually prove that people used multiple accounts on your comments? No. It's not a conspiracy, people are just responding to your comments as either A) Not useful or B) Already been said multiple times. And yes, this is a free forum, and unless you want the mods to control everyone, including you, get used to it.
