While azeroth has 2 moons only one is in game.
In order to get to the new capitals in Mists of Pandaria on an 85 that hasn't done any quests:
Head to the Shado-Pan Fallback in Kun-Lai Summit (cords: ~45, 89). Go inside (if a lock is ever implemented to the doors of the building, then it's no longer possible), then upstairs, and that puts you on the wall separating Townlong Steppes, Vale Kun-Lai Summit, and Vale of Eternal Blossom.
Mages don't have a portal to here.
I wonder why?
I like how the portal to orgrimmar is spelled wrong. Portal to ogrimmar
They fixed it now, but it was funny while it lasted
My main problem with Shrine is the fact that it doesn't seem to have any trainers (apart from flying and first aid), but instead only vendors, some of which could be/are covered by a trade goods vendor (cough, alchemy vendor). It also doesn't have a hairdresser.
I'm comparing this to Dalaran though I guess, which was accessible by a quest at around level 74, while I believe Shrine is not accessible until level 90, so I guess you're expected to have all your professions capped.
Also, for a race that are known for brewing and/or drinking, it seems odd that the Pandaren barmaids and bartenders and such in the Shrine only seem to sell two different types of alcoholic beverages, and two non-alcoholic, for a grand total of four different beverages. What's up with that? :(
Am I just blind, or are there no anvils or forges in this place?
Just in case anyone was wondering, the portals to the major cities are at the upper floor in the Hall of Secrets.
The forge here isn't in the engineer alcove, where it would be most helpful, but is in fact by
in the Chamber of Masters, the lower floor of the west wing full of profession vendors.
The Shrine may not be as peaceful as you'd think, as in the fountain by Elder Liao there's a small, child-sized skeleton crushed underneath a large rock.
One place which has portals to any major city that your heart can possibly desire.
I've uploaded a printscreen of the forge at the NPC Jorunga Stonehoof for people who we're like looking for where the heck it should be.
Note that the forge looks a bit different then the usual ones found in Orgrimmar etc.
There is a recurring error that is really annoying. Whenever you pass the NPC
, he tries to give you the buff of
-- but it was changed so the buff is applied automatically when you enter the Shrine. Since he's trying to apply a buff you already have, you get the error message "You can't do that yet."
I managed to get here without doing any quests.
I went to the golden gate in Kun-Lai Summit. There is an indentation on the right side of the gate.
I pulled some nearby bird mobs to me and had them kill me in the indentation.
Traveled as a spirit to the gate, you can go thru the gate as a spirit.
Went to the other side of both gates and resurrected in the grass closest to where I died.
Presto! On the other side.
The portal and the bank are in the opposite directions compared to the Shrine of Seven Stars.
There are two boards set up for Hearthstone in the courtyard by the entrance.
Since no has posted where to actually find the shrine: 62/21 in the Vale. Basically stand next to the FP npc at Shrine of 7 stars. Fly forward. Once you pass the archeology building you will see the Two Moons shrine ahead.
Shrine of Moon Moon.
FWIW: There's no more Auction House in Shrine of Two Moons. When I asked an NPC, he told me that "auction services are available in your home city." It's no big deal; the portal to Orgrimmar is nearby. Just a point of information.
The mailbox Pin isn't working on command. I can only get it to show occasionally by clicking the Mailbox icon then changing between floors. Sometimes I am required to enlarge the picture then change it back. Hope this can be taken care of, thanks!
