The 3 Ethereal Commanders you have to kill start with a shield which takes time to get rid of before they start taking damage.
To avoid this shield all together destroy an energy cell as he walks in front of it and he will immediately start taking damage.

If you are in combat you cant use the Ascending Waygates, i managed to brick a run stuck at the bottom and couldn't teleport up to kill the last commander i missed. Way to go..

This delve is awful. If you're stuck in combat then you cant use the portals. If you try to use something like Shadowmeld to leave combat Brann will immediately throw you back into it. If you finish the delve on accident then the reward area get unlocked immediately so you have to clear the enemy groups ahead of time for the better strongbox. If you get stuck in combat which has happened a few times then you might be softlocked.

These issues could be fixed if we could despawn Brann. He's a nuisance half the time.

I had to use the Phase Cutter ability to cross over to other platforms to get all mobs for the Nemesis Strongbox. Stand at the edge and hit the ability from the upper platform. For some you might want to jump first and then use it

Anyone having trouble reaching some platforms with Cutter? It seems like some aren't reachable. An example, a rare spawned right near the top, but no matter what Cutter just doesn't get you to the platform.

I don't understand. Sometimes I fall down and don't take damage. But most of the time I die from the fall. What does it depend on?

OK. So, if you fall after you use Phase Cutter looks like you get no damage.

If you can't reach a rare enemy, try jumping down to it from the upper platform using the Phase Cutter ability.

For people with lower-mobility characters that can't cheese accessing the top ledges for Rares or chests-

One of the very BOTTOM ledges on the North side has an accelerator thing pointing straight up next to it that lifts you to one of the top-most ledges. Use your cutter from the MIDDLE ring to get to the ledge next to it.

Another stinker in my opinion (alongside Sidestreet Sluice and the new Fungal Folly story). It is basically the second part of Azure Vaults, but you travel up and down via way gates/teleporters, I found myself constantly unsure where to go and whether or a gap is reachable by using the Phase Cutter. As a goblin, I could cross most of the gaps with rocket jump + phase cutter. I didn't see the jump pads Immaterial mentions, but I was sick of the delve at that point, so I didn't look especially hard.

In the story I did, Relic Retrieval, most items are clickable in order to collect them, but the small crates require you to run through them. The central hub ring has several floors but they look alike.

On the plus side, the mobs weren't particularly hard at T11, so I did some bigger pulls that I would usually do and used Phase Cutter on cooldown. It did approx 15% of my overall damage, and I did it as a prot warrior, ilevel 655ish.

Edit: I think I found the pad Immaterial references, it's at 48,52 inbetween the lowest ring and the "basement".

Use Parasols if you are trying to fully explore the delve. You can get to the sections that are off to the side (and also a hidden stash that is located on top of a pipe) by using the parasols to drift down.

When doing the "Waygate Wiles" version, you might find yourself lost, trying to get out of the first room (after using the portal).
Go to the North East side room (the most northerly of the four side rooms) and tucked around a corner of that room is a tunnel leading onwards.
Awful map. Awful room design :(

Also, once you've made the second waygate - it's quickest to not go through it. The next step is through a short, double portal, to the left of the respawn point. If you accidentally do go through the second waygate, you can either work your way back through the central spire to get back to the respawn point - or go back through the tunnel, back up to the room with the boss in.

The 'Waygate' version is awful design, very non-linear and you have run up and down levels while competing your tasks. The 'gather artifacts' variant is very quick and worth doing, especially if your plan is to do the same delve a few times in one sitting.

To get the 4th sturdy chest behind the pink wall, you have to use your phase cutter and fly through it.

If you're stuck wondering where the "portal to the treasure room" is - it's the very faint light blue glowing portal that's set against a light blue background with no marker or label or map pin. Don't go back up, don't look around, don't explore. It's right there.

Super annoying, use the ascending and descending portals to move around, click them to activate. Using the Phase Cutter button will stop you from dying if you fall while trying to navigate around, otherwise I didn't use it. The treasure room portal is a standard fluffy blue portal on the upmost platform at 51.87 61.66 - just near the descending portal. Easy to do on Tier 1 if you want to try it out before increasing levels. Weirdly at T1 the main treasure was Undermine rep.

You can click these Ascending Waygate transportal rings on the outer rim. Look for the new kind of icon, blue comet-like. You can see by how they are positioned, if you would go up or down a level. No need to use the extra option Phase Cutter. You can travel freely up and down this way. If a waygate misses to travel horizontal to an balcony, then take a run-up, run, jump and use phase cutter combined. If you used phase cutter and miss, than you don't die if you fall down.

After I looted the treasure room, I left this room, went right, into the room with no shinies but a little fire. There are stairs over there, these I didn't find earlier. Down there, there were more levels to clear, more prices to find. Look for the chests on your mini map on the south side. You can use the Phase cutter to go through a pink curtain style wall for an extra sturdy chest (level: lower chamber, south). You can use the Phase cutter to jump down on a otherwise inaccesible platform for a chest over there. From there I managed to jump on the pink pipe for two extra chests that gave a lot of blue items (tier 4). First time I died while holding weathered purple parasol. Second time I activated my Warlock soulstone, jumped without feather or parasol and somehow survived. Didn't even need the soulstone.

From the level Mausoleum of Legends you can jump to a platform with a rare elite level 81: D'rude.

As I am newly arrived, I did this delve on tear 4 with iLevel 638. I needed four tries to kill the Voidripper. But I am more of an explorer than a fighter. It worked best for me with Bran as a damage dealer and my trusty Voidwalker tank instead of the Felhunter. Didn't need to interrupt something. Just stay out of his blue bad breath.

An alternate path to the final boss room:
1. From Mausoleum of Legends, use the ascending waygate.
2. Clear out the trash
3. Go to SE edge of the ring
4. Use Phase Cutter ability to leap onto the platform below.

Didn't see it mentioned, but you can run around the edge of the outer ring (i.e. the platforms with doors). You just go to one of the platforms and hop on the wall trim to the side of the doorway. Very useful for positioning down to lower platforms or just avoiding mobs.

If you are stuck in combat and unable to reach whatever you require for completion, log out and back in again. I have restarted this delve a repulsive number of times when only a set away from completion and am so grateful to have found this resolve.

I don't know if it's a bug, but since Legion Remix came out, I'm one shotting almost everything with a single use of the phase cutter on T11. Even one-banged Captain Nil'htan with wings up as a prot paladin. If you can live, you can pull an entire floor and phase shred them.
