No, it won't. I thought it would at first, too.

You basically need to make sure you have enough crit to ensure 100% uptime of the buff, which means you only have to crit every 4 seconds. That's a REALLY low amount of crit.

But the actual extra damage you'd get from it isn't nearly enough to justify changing the way you gear or gem.

The description says "Your melee crits," which means white damage (auto attacks only). It's not going to increase DPS by very much. We'll be going for the 4-piece anyway, though.

I'm not sure how you get from "melee" to "auto attack." Melee crits should include anything other than your thrown weapon, so this should also proc from using cold blood and then hitting an envenom, which could lead to very significant damage.

This two piece set bonus, part of the 4.2.0+ Rage of the Firelands major content patch, which includes the Rogue "Dark Phoenix" Tier 12 raid armor, behaves like 精通：点燃 or . It does benefit from the Assassination talent tree's along with any Spell Damage Bonus debuffs on targets.

- Notes
- Procs off any melee Critical Strikes (Auto-Attacks, Combo Point Generating Abilities, Combo Point Consuming Abilities, Fan of Knives)
- Functions like Ignite or Deep Wounds
- Damage Increased by Spell Damage debuffs on Victim
- ~~Can Critically Strike~~ (Seems this debuff can no longer Critically Strike on servers since having left the PTR)

- Does not significantly increase the value of Critical Strike Rating for Rogues (Mastery/Haste is still superior for Assassination, Haste/Mastery for Combat). Gemming raw Agility (except for sockets which provide +20 Agility, or more, for matching colors) is still superior.
- Maintains (in raid buffs, and often without) near 100% up time.

Edit:
- Appears that the 灼烧之伤 debuff placed on targets can no longer deal Critical Strikes.
- Added the rough up time (based on personal experience).
- Note: As I do the flying phase on Alysrazor for my guild, I've seen the Burning Wounds debuff ticking for up to ~12,000 damage per tick with the 奥利瑟拉之锋 buff and the maximum stacks of 炽炎之能. I can safely say any class with this style of Fire DoT based off Critical Strikes should be the individual flying. ~12,000 damage every 2 seconds is not to glanced over by any means.

Apparently it seems they buffed it 1% because on my T12 piece the bonus now reads "7% damage over 4 seconds"
