At first this seems good, but...

It would seem to me that if someone needs Holy Shock, they need too much healing to be really benefitting from this HoT. Also, on a 14k Holy Shock crit, that's a 2100 heal, or 233(ish) per tick. Not strong or fast enough to make this set bonus really worth it. Sad panda :(

But hey, it's a pally HoT!

At this moment the 2p bonus is bugged and will cost 19% extra base mana on HS crit, for an average of 1300 over 9 seconds this is extremly bad.

Holy Shock cost 21% of base mana (923), if critted it will cost an additional 19%. Totalling a 40% of ur base mana (4394) cost...around 1758 mana total depending on race. Obviosly illumination will return 60% from the critted Holy Shock, making it a total of 1225 mana cost for Holy Shock crits with a measely HoT that is never going to fight up against 5% of Holy Light or better plate items.

Obviously Benediction and SoW Glyph reduce the cost of Holy Shock, benediction seems to reduce the cost of the Holy Mending effect.

So far no announcement yet if it will be fixed.

15% is quite lame. The biggest holy shock crit I've ever seen was no more than 10k, that's 1500 healing over 9 seconds.. 166 per tick. How terrible. They should make this much better.

What happens when you get another holy shock crit while the hot is up? does it refresh / stack or do you get 2 hots?

This bonus isn't very good. I effectively healed about 1/2 million with my Holy Shock and was only shown to have healed about 35k with my Holy Mending. I had 65% crit rate on my Holy Shock so I'm not even sure how the numbers came up that bad.

35k is a drop in the bucket compared to the 4.5 million in effective heals I did that night!
