I know it says "instant" but it always seems to cancel when i use another move before the 5 strikes are up. Is this a bug, is it channeled, or am I just not seeing it finish?

I do not normally play a warrior, and even less in the Fury Spec, but I decided to give it a go in Legion. I really am enjoying the play through, except I always feel "cheated" when I use 暴怒. I took 屠戮 that reduces the cost to 70 rage, but even that does not seem "a worthy investment."

Am I just not doing something right, or is this not that powerful – especially for 85 (or 70 w/o talent) rage? For me, I'd like to have a near-full bar of rage to use a bunch of 斩杀s (25 rage each) one after another.

Is there a trick to making this power (spell) worth spending so much rage on, especially when the target is getting low enough that 斩杀 will soon be available?

Interesting Facts

Rampage will trigger Enrage effect on cast. So you benefit from your Mastery damage bonus
Ability is affected by Haste. The more Haste you have, the faster you deliver full 4 hits

Rampage Damage
Rampage will deal full damage with all 4 hits in these cases:

When you get CCd during Rampage
When you use any of your other abilities. That includes another cast of Rampage. You will get plus 4 hits to your current Rampage

Rampage will stop dealing damage if you:

Go too far from your target, e.g. use Heroic Leap. Sometimes you do damage anyway on relatively short distances
Get Meat Cleaver buff (used Whirlwind before Rampage), but your main target died during Rampage. In that case you also stop dealing damage to targets nearby. It happens because Rampage only hits the target you cast it on, even if you see hit animation
Turn away from your target. Yet it sometimes continues to deal damage like the case with distance. I suppose it's because of network/server conditions
Die

Thus basically Rampage works like one-target Rushing Jade Wind and any other similar ability. So don't be afraid to lose your precious DPS in case you waited before the animation ends.

in shadowlands beta, spell has become unusable. It often highlights when I have enough rage, but is unusable. I'm equipped with a 2 hand mace and shield. It used to work, but no more. Reported as a bug.
