Be sure to go down off the hill to the left and you'll only have to kill about 3 Twilight Deciples/Thugs. I did this, cool quest, coolest sword in the rock.

You will need to clear two mobs around the table, a level 17 and 18.
The table can be found at 39,86. Re-spawn rate is fast.

Interesting note...if you walk past the other book it will lash out at you, causing knockback.

i suggest you go at level 20 or higher
its so much easier when you have 3-5 levels on the enemies surrounding the area you need to go :)
