After healing the plant, right click on it to receive a rather nice buff... Song of Starflower +70 Crit and +10 to all resistances for 1 hour.

Did this today on my 67 paladin twice. Didn't get the buff either time. Possibly because it's a grey quest for me? can anyone confirm this?

After cleansing, the flower gears up. Picked it for "Songflower serenade" = Increases critical strike rating and spell critical strike rating by 70 and all attributes by 15. Duration 60 minutes.

One strange warning. If you have full bags, and you want do the plant quest, you got strange error that you need some room in the bags, when you loot the cleansed plant.

It happens me with full bags. It goes normally for a buff, but because the looting, it use for short time one bag room and then immediately it buffs you.

With full bags, you lose the loot, and you cannot loot plant again. The loot indicator is gone.
But the plant is not gone! It's still there.
I think it's a bug, because you can loot always again even with full bags. Only here with plants it goes really wrong.

Why it use one bag room, it's still unfair and unlogic. Because it gives always the buff.

Second warning: don't loot next plant if you have already same buff. Dismiss the buff first, so you can get a new one from the plant.
Because you cannot loot again (same problem with full bags) the plant.

The Cenarion Plant Salve quests do not add up for the Loremaster of Kalimdor achievement.

Not even on the first turn-in.

i was wondering wher or how you come across the The Cenarion Plant Salve. i would like to do the quest but i dont know where to get the stuff.

The zone of Felwood has a series of repeatable quests that begin with the quests Cleansing Felwood and at least one of the follow up repeatable turn in quests (for the salve):
Salve via Skinning, Salve via Disenchanting, Salve via hunting, Salve via Mining, and Salve via Gathering.

Once you have some Cenarion Plant Salve you can do the quests:
Corrupted Songflower which leads to Cleansed Songflower which gives Songflower Serenade
Corrupted Night Dragon which leads to Cleansed Night Dragon which gives Night Dragon's Breath
Corrupted Whipper Root which leads to Cleansed Whipper Root which gives you Whipper Root Tuber
Corrupted WIndblossom which leads to Cleansed Windblossom which gives Windblossom Berries

It is worth mentioning that when cleansed the plants will stay that way for something like 2 hours. Their quests can only be completed like every 10-15 minutes though.
This means you can get these buffs/items pretty consistently for 16 levels (the starter quest can be accepted at level 48, and the buffs continue to give the buff through 63) as long as you aren't dying very frequently and you actually do enough quests in felwood to keep your cenarion salve in stock (don't throw away any corrupted soul shards)

A lot of other Vanilla unique buffs seem to be unavailable after 63 as well ( Fengus' Ferocity , Mol'dar's Moxie , Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer, Slip'kik's Savvy, and Spirit of Zandalar), seems that's when they want you to give up on azeroth buffs.
