The quest is bugged at the moment. When you fly back with him to Frosthold, you see him talking to SOMEONE (not going to spoil anything) and then they just stand there. Your character is stuck in the instance and when you try to drop the quest, you can pick it up right there on the spot. The problem is, you normaly picked up the quest in the cave area where he was down the hole but in Frosthold he attempts to launch is plane but nothing happens. Might have to wait for server restart or come back the next day.

This is a fantastic lore quest that also happens to culminate a very exciting chain. Seeing the three Bronzebeards reunited in one place sent a chill down this old lore nerd's spine.

A must for anyone interested in Ironforge dwarf lore.

Interesting finale for this quest line. Got 33100 xp at level 79. Plus 550 rep with Explorers' League and The Frostborn (human racial).

Who do you turn this quest in to ? I got dropped out of the flying machine, it disappeared, and that was it.

If you're a hunter get your weapon skill up, because you'll only be able to use your melee weapon as you fight off dwarves while standing on the wing of the biplane. Spam raptor strike and hope the plane lasts long enough to get to base.

While flying up you will get attacked, and mobs will land on your plane with ~5800 hp. Easy kill, just don't go afk.

After you get off of the plane, you have to follow him to reunite with his brothers.

It takes a couple of minutes for them to chat before you get the quest objective complete message.

If you left Brann after you got off the plane, like I did, you just need to go back to the Engine of Makers and get on the plane again. You do not have to abandon the quest. Brann is arond 40,57 ish.

When flying up from the bottom of the engine of the makers, dwarves will jump onto your flying machine and try to stop you from reaching the top. As soon as one dies, another takes its place. However, you can only ever have one guy on the machine at a time, so if you have some way of CCing the dwarf, you'll have a much easier time getting out than trying to go toe-to-toe with him.

This may sound dumb but I had a hard time getting ON the plane. I would be on the ledge right above it but when I clicked to jump on, I just went down to the ground. It was also too high to jump from the ground up. I had to mount, hover above the plane, dismount and then click it as I was falling.

Also, repentance (paladin) last a minute and has a minute cool down, no need to fight at all as a pally.

Really a nice story. I even read all these posts to catch some of what I missed during the chain (or forgot).

The easiest way to keep them off of the plane is to face the wall so that the front of the plane is to your left. You will fly up in a spiral. When one of the critters jumps on your plane, tap the "tab" button to target it and use your favorite attack. For my arcane mage, it was arcane blast, but to each his own. Don't worry about that spooky feeling of eminent doom, it's all part of getting lost in the game, and you should be fine as long as you target and kill.

Quick tip for rogues: don't use killing spree. You will fall off the plane and have to wait for the NPC to respawn...

Brann Bronzebeard says: Indeed! Magni will be so happy to see you too! He's gotten nothing but bad news for a long while now, but this changes everything!
Brann Bronzebeard says: He's here in Northrend brother, looking for you. A seer in Wintergarde brought word that you were not dead, and he left Ironforge immediately to come find you.
Magni Bronzebeard yells: Look Lagnus, I consider you a capable man, but my patience is wearing thin. I know that Muradin is here, can you point me to him or not?
Brann Bronzebeard says: Speaking of which...
Magni Bronzebeard yells: Brother! There you are! I can barely believe my eyes... you're alive!
Yorg Stormheart says: Magni! Forgive me, the memories are comin' back slowly, brother.
Magni Bronzebeard says: It's so good to see you again, Muradin. And what's this I heard about you being a King in your own right now? The Bronzebeards were always destined to greatness.
Yorg Stormheart says: the Frostborn have been very good to me. They're strong people.
Magni Bronzebeard says: So it seems! And you haven't lost any muscle yourself. Do you remeber anything of what happened, Muradin? Fate has turned ill in your absence.
Yorg Stormheart says: Not much, Magni. I've had nightmares of a human... tall... light hair... death black armor. His name rests on the tip of me tounge, but...
Yorg Stormheart says: ...Arthas.
Magni nods.
Magni Bronzebeard says: He's not the boy of your memories anymore, Muradin. He's become something else entirely.
Yorg Stormheart says: Aye, I know. I watched him turn... I watched him give up all that was right and I didn't lift a hand... I didn't even consider it until it was too late.
Brann Bronzebeard says: That's in the past, Muradin. Regrets won't change anything.
Yorg Stormheart says: No... no they won't. But I can make this right... I have te. I'm goin' after the boy. I'll make'm answer for everything he's done.
Magni Bronzebeard says: Are you sure Muradin? I just gor you back after years of thinking you were dead. I don't want to lose you again.
Yorg Stormheart says: I'm sure, Magni. I'll see this through, don't ya worry.
Magni Bronzebeard says: So be it then. I have to return to my people, brothers. Come back to me in one piece.
Brann Bronzebeard says: Aye, be safe Muradin. I'd join you, but I'm on top of the most amazing discovery the world has yet seen. I can't abandon it now.
Yorg Stormheart says: Go Brann. Bring me back an epic tale when we meet again. Farewell for now, brothers.

This quest also begs for a few really good screenshots of fighting on the plane and then the three brothers reuniting.

After you land, Yorg Stormheart is revealed by Brann to be Muradin Bronzebeard. Shortly after regaining his memory of his true identity, Muradin is met by his other brother, King Magni Bronzebeard, who travelled to Northrend to find Muradin.

After their brief reunion, Brann leaves to continue his research into the titan's secrets, Magni returns to his people in Ironforge. Muradin believes it to be his fault that Arthas became the Lich King, because he did not stop it. Therefore, Muradin sets off towards Icecrown to set things right. In Icecrown Citadel, he helps in the attack on Arthas' most powerful troops, eventually helping to slay the Lich King, fulfilling his vow.

Just did this for the 2nd time in my wow existence (which has been long, but I chose to level elsewhere than Storm Peaks), this time on my hunter.

First time around, I thought it was just going to be flying from point A to point B, and I walked away to take care of something around the house for a minute. I came back mid-quest to fight off mob-men. When I landed, I couldn't turn the quest in anywhere.

After looking through the comments here, I decided to fly back, and lo-and-behold Brann was waiting for me with his flying machine again. Make sure you fight every single mob-man that boards the plane.

And yes...the ending is extremely touching! What an epic tale these three brothers lived out, even though it's a game. Hats off to the quest writers!
