Take good note of the fact there are two bubbles. You will die if you fly into the wrong faction's bubble.

For clarification, if you're flying around and just aren't seeing anything, the entire "base" is stealthed until you land on the platform and sit there for a few seconds. I was getting so frustrated because I could see the Alli and horde banners, but every time I flew around up there I saw absolutely nothing. You have to land and sit there a few seconds before they'll appear. At least, that's what I had to do.

yeah, you have to land on the platform for them to come visible

they are stealthed unless u enters the round green bubble thing

So after the first time, if you show up on the platform and wait, the area will show up again after a minute, so you can do the daily. Don't have to get it from the flying ship or anything.

If anybody can find out how to use this green haze in an addon, it would be perfect for many classes. Odds are the color of it can be changed, so it could fit many classes when they get "opportunistic" buffs, such as Eclipse, or Cloak of Shadows, etc...

I don't know if I just got lucky or if this is a bug, but I wound up getting stuck in the Green Technology phase in Icecrown. I tried several things to get out so that I could continue questing. What wound up working was flying to Dalaran and restarting the game completely. Hopefully this helps.
