Seems OP because it's really TWO rounds of extra attacks after you kill the thing.
1) You kill him and he comes back to life
2) He attacks
3) Next Round
4) Any attack brings him to 1 HP
5) He attacks, then dies
Just keep in mind that this is not an enhanced version of the
- your Undead pet is, effectively, DEAD when this is used. When they arise, they'll use whatever attack was in their queue (if you had first-turn status on their kill), and then you'll both get a "free" turn. During this turn, your Undead pet will resist ANY attack used against them; and as soon as the round of immortality is finished,
your pet will die once again
. If this is your Undead pet, make sure you aren't wasting your turn of immortality on trying to heal up. Instead,
hit with the strongest move in your arsenal
If you happen to be
an Undead, on the other hand, pay attention when they're raised.
Do not make the mistake of attacking them; heal up, or switch to a stronger pet to resist the attack.
They'll be dead as soon as the round is over.
It doesn't always work for me really, especially when battling tamers, nor does the mechanical passive work. It is so frustrating..
There are quite a few SC*s for this pet family. Click the links below to view lists of SCs for Undead type pets.
Good luck out there fellow tamers!
*A Super Counter, or SC, is a pet that is strong against and resistant to another pet of a specific family with matching family type abilities.
For example, a
type pet with
type abilities which makes it a perfect counter against a
Lost of Lordaeron
An interesting quirk of this ability is that while the pet will die after the extra turn, it does count as being properly alive with one hit point during the turn. If you retreat during that turn, your undead pet will be alive with one hit point.
This is rarely of much use as you'll die in one hit if you actually enter battle (and you don't get XP if you flee), but it means you could theoretically get a heal off and be back in action if you go first in the next battle.
Another thing i experienced
if the undead pet dies and comes back to life and kills the opposing last pet with his attack it will stay alive
This aura is available for
certain species of pets
. There are 10 different species, listed below with their respective "Damage Taken" percentage:
I don't know if it's just me, but I think the 25% damage debuff is bugged right now. Abilities hit like normal.
