Looks like It will be the finest ore that miners have to dig. More ore, more gems to prospect and more items to craft!
P.S. Titan nod at Titanium Node (good size!) )))

According to my experience these days, Titanium Node is simply a random rare replacement of Saronite Node(similar to Silver replaces Tin), instead of having individual respawning points and timers(like Rich Thorium Node).
Suggested way of obtaining Titanium, around 20 mins per node:
Mine in a small circle that you can circulate in around 10 mins(my circle is from Lost Passage to Maker's Perch/Overlook and back, circulate along the edge of Basin and pillars), mine every single node you see, and 10 mins is longer than the respawning timer of Saronite so when you are back you'll see new nodes. Since Titanium will replace Saronite to spawn, clearing all Saronite is the only good way to make Titanium pop up. Within 2 circles will you see a titanium if your circle is around 1/4 of the Basin. Remember to avoid other Miners to get it! This will be like less than 100 Saronite ore you will mine before your Titanium will spawn - this number sounds terrible, but the respawning rate of Saronite is much faster than you can imagine.
Not suggested way of obtaining Titanium, no ETA:
Fly throughout the Basin and find one. This is rude because the respawned node after you mined it possibly won't be Titanium, and may result in no Titanium node at all in Basin (I encountered several such cases). Besides, it seems that there will be at most 2 Titanium nodes at any time in Basin - I and my guildmates did a test to patrol around every point of the Basin and the result seemingly testified it.
Impossible way of obtaining Titanium:
Remember every place you've seen a Titanium and go for it next time. It is impossible because Titanium doesn't spawn that way at all.
Titanium is a rare resource and needs all of us to preserve it. Ok, just kidding...
Edit:
Titanium Node does spawn in both Storm Peaks and Crystalsong Forest (just the northwest corner) beyond the Basin, and behaviors exactly as a rare replacement of Saronite Nodes. So check every node you find on your minimap!
Similar way of obtaining Titanium by constantly circulate and mine all Saronite you meet in Storm Peaks does not work as well as doing so in the Basin: many of the nodes in Basin are unguarded, and none of them are in cavern, which is both right the opposite to the case in Storm Peaks.

6 hours of farming saronite in Icecrown and only one titanium node. WTB higher spawn rate. OR perhaps it is indeed more common in Sholazar...

I can just see this being like Khorium in TBC - super rare and hard to get. Lets not forget high levels killing off lower level characters to get to the node... Auction Prices for these are going to go throught the roof for at least 2 months after Wrath release date. After that may see drop in price however all depends on supply and demand on the respective server.

Does each titanium node give exactly four ore? I don't think I've run across any that haven't (granted, I just got mining to 450, so I've only seen a handful).

The best time to mine titanium is about 3am-4am UK time.....i had mined about 40ore in 2hour's this was in the sholazar basin / icecrown on a 280% flying mount.
Feel free to email me for more info.
Thank you :)

actually, saronite eats titanium so you get more titanium the more saronite you take out of the circulation ;)

Just did a couple of smaller circles in Icecrown and got some titanium nodes pretty fast. It's actually pretty amazing how fast the (saronite) nodes respawn. Sometimes just a few feet away from where it last was.

How does the droprate for crystallized (whatever) and the gems work for mining nodes. wowhead lists a 50% droprate for something like crystallized fire from these nodes. And a previous comment here says that titanium nodes average 3 hits each. is it 50% chance of 1-2 fire per tap, or a 50% chance that you get the 1-2 fire from the entire node?
评论来自
buzz3070
i think its per tap since when ever i tap a node i get a variety of different ones the next hit same thing

ForcedPerfect
As a note: These nodes usually produce 2 ore, although they often (maybe 25%?) provide 3 ores before disappearing.
I know on one occasion I received 4 ores from one node. I suspect this is a glitch or something. It wasn't double stacked like copper nodes can and I should have taken a screenshot.

As mentioned Titanium Node is simply a random rare replacement of Saronite Node^^ I have done some farming on this particular item. And according to my experience the best way of getting this is NOT 5 o'clock in the morning as i first thought. The more people that are farming the ore at the same time as you the better! Since you get a bigger chance of finding titaium when farming saronite you should log in about mid-day on weekends :) I tried it last week and i found 5 nodes in 30 minutes.. many of them were just beside each other. So basiclly the more people that are mining Saronite the better since that will increase the spawn rate. This may include some pvping but you get quite alot of ores even if u run away with your tail between your legs^^ Good Luck and have fun! :D

I think it should also be noted that you can turn the saronite u mine in farming for titanium into titanium through
X-Mute: Titanium
2 cobalt ore, 16 saronite ore, and 2 crystalized life will get you 1 titanium bar. Although, especially if u cant get a guildie to do it for free it might be more economical to just sell the saronite and buy the titanium, or just keep farming if you dont mind the time sink.

Something very strange hapened for me in Sholazar Basin on the 7th of January this year...It was about 7 o'clock in the evening and I was farming saronite...extremely strange is that I found titanium very often! In about half an hour I mined 20 titanium ores and basically I found: 1 saronite node...after that 1 titanium node...I had to go on raiding with my guild so I quitted farming but it was very, very strange....anyone know what could happen? Maybe increased spawn in the evenings?

I am an engineer to go along with my mining, and so I farm Saronite in Sholazar, very good place to farm by the way, and I've been meaning to try out Icecrown tommorow. However, with Sholazar, be warned, competition is ferocious. Flying around in circles, including the 5 pillars, can usually net 20-40 Ore. However, alot of times, mainly on rare nodes (Rich Saronite Veins, Titanium Veins), someone hops on it right before you and you get a /lol in your face.
Here is how I find a maximum net of Saronite:
~Start anywhere around the basin, and start moving around in a clockwise motion.
~If you find yourself trailing right behind someone also farming, turn around and do a ring opposite the way they are going.
~Whenever you get next to a pillar, make a quick swing around it, this is usually where I find most of my Rich Saronites and Titaniums.
~Always pull off the South-Eastern wall to sweep the western range of Frenzyheart Hill.
This usually grabs me about 50 Ore per 20-30 minutes, sometimes tapping into 3-4 Titanium Veins.
**Note to other Engineers**:
~If you see a gas cloud (Steam Cloud or Cinder Cloud) on the mini-map ALONG with a mine, grab the mine first, and come back later. With the number of miners around, most of them can't even see the cloud much less loot it.
~If you watch your mini-map, and you see a yellow dot out against a rouch/rocky texture, chances are it's a mine. If it is in the middle of a open pasture, chances are it is a cloud. Clouds can appear:
1. Near water/beach sand
2. Near the proto dragons, where you will most likely have the most trouble differentiating it from Sarornite without a mouseover.
3. On islands on the river.
Extreneous Examples have been found with mines in open areas and some clouds where a mine could be, but these rules are what I find most common.

Easiest way to find these is to fly around the righ of icecrown.
If you look at the map I provided in a link under this paragraph you will see the best farm line marked in red. The inner ring ( Marked in Blue ) alltho very easy to do is
very
competitive. I'd suggest doing the blue ring at non-peak hours.
All the nodes you can see are possible spots ( highlighted by the addon GatherMate )

its all about luck you get titanium or get loads of saronite.
you can go into map and get titanium on first vein you saw, and you can farm, fly around for hours, and dont get any.
sometimes titanium spawns next to each other. happened once to me. but think its way to rare then.
if you skip saronite and look just for titanium.... not best option you can do. cause even saronite costs money, and motes costs even more. prospecting saronite sometimes gives gems your jc can sell for 95g each . and you in best way of luck get 3 of them from stack .

A good way to ge this is by following the edge in winter grasp and then mine everything. 1 round takes around 10 mins and I usually get 1-3 per round depending on my luck and alot of saronite

IMO best way to obtain the maximum titanium per hour is the be in a group. If yu are like me and are in a guild with freinds and your guild is all about helping eachother then mining with a couple freinds in sholazar is a great way to get titanium. we usualy get a group of 3-4 ppl to mine with and head out. works well beacause we can courdinate our flyght paths and if their is Horde trouble then we can deal with it as well as im on a PVP server. With our guild it dosent matter who gets the actual vein its the end product that counts. If you have freinds who you trust just get together and mine away. you can always just sell the saronite and jewels( or im my case send them to guildies for their professions.

Was reading new updates and they say 3.2 they are making Titanium ores prospectable. People might want start saving their ores it going go crazy when this hits. I only use mine to make Titansteel bars and I make one everyday. I probably buy bars now and store the ores for when this happens. Btw prospecting these will be Epic gems so yea these price definetly go up. Here advice if you after Titanium nodes go Wintergrasp best spot for them to generate and weekend and holidays they increase rates of spawning. Other best spot is Scholazar Basin I suggest epic flying mount to keep up with competition. Icecrown honestly I feel like most of the nodes are sparsely sperated and is time consuming to fly around looking for them or they are in caves and so you have to fight and dismount. Either way it takes time in Icecrown and highly don't recommend it. Good luck everyone and save those ores.

node respawn is random, just because you mine 300 nodes in basin and you get 3 titanium nodes in one full circle around basin been theres a 1/100 chance to get Titanium, your right as far as probablity but not how node respawns work. if you only get 1 Titanium every 100 Saronite bad luck i usualy get atleast 4-5 nodes per hundred and about 15 Rich Saronite, but that number changes each time i farm. because spawns are random.

If you're only looking for a few quick titanium, flying over the caves in Storm Peaks you can see which caves have titanium in them: they spawn often, and usually aren't farmed, so there's almost always at least one vein in each cave. Once I mined a titanium mine in a cave, along with some saroite went to a battleground, and when it popped me back out the vein was back: and it was titanium this time! I got about 8 ore out of that one cave.

Now, since you can use flying mounts in Wintergrasp, I've found this place quite good for farming titanium nodes.
I made a stack of Titanium yesterday, and it took me about an hour or so, maybe even less than that. And now I'm sitting at 21x Titanium Ore, been here for about an hour. Wintergrasp is small area after all, so circling around randomly clock-wise the place have proven itself worthy.
Not to mention there is a speed-hacker (Not $%^&ting, trust me) mining here, if I could get rid of him somehow, I'd probably get even more Titanium Ore.
I just thought I'd share this.. Not really used to posting here, so I have no clue if this post deserves down-rating. (Edit, seems like it doesn't! Greenpeace motha%^&*as)

I went down to Sholazar on a Sunday morning for about two hours and ended up with 30 stacks of saronite and two stacks of titanium; that's just the ores. Then you get all the crystallized variants, and in turn the elementals, and on top of that there are the gems and such, too. One titanium node netted me 4 ores, three different types of crystallized items, and TWO Scarlet Rubies...yes, two :^). I was a happy camper for a few minutes there, most definitely.

It is worth mentioning that when farming these nodes you should mine any saronite nodes you find along the way because of the shared spawning. If you leave saronite nodes and only mine titaniums, eventually the entire area will contain nothing but saronite nodes, unless there is someone else farming them.

Does any othe member of Horde laugh when they they see the following?:
A yellow dot shows up on your minimap while you're in the Horde-side bank, and after mousing over it to see that it's a Titanium vein, you scramble to the flight platform to try to beat all the other people flying down to Crystalsong Forest to get it.
I laugh every time. Blizzard has a good sense of humor if that was an intentional part of the game.

Without

any

is the answer. They are green all the way up to 525. Although this is not a good way of farming, due to farming Cataclysm nodes grant more gold, and faster skill-ups.
Although if you have the time, and don't wanna risk going into the new Cataclysm Zones because you are below level 85, I would love to see someone do this.

Just finished doing this on my lvl 75 Tauren Warrior.
Rich Saronite Veins are also green up till 525, but I'm pretty sure I didn't get 1 skill-up from them after about 510.
Got enough saronite or for around 300 bars, which are 70g a stack on my server. Also got enough Titanium for about 50 bars, and enough eternals to make 8 titansteel without buying any extra. Titansteel is still going for 200g a bar on my server so its pretty good money. My tip would be to kill the fire mobs as you pass that area, so you could get more eternal fires which is the only thing holding me up from making more titansteel.
The perk is pretty cool, party members are pretty stoked when they get into a LFG party with a lvl 75 tank with 24k hp :P <- (full tanking boa also and 425 Blacksmithing)

If you don't want to grind the level on saronite, before level 80(cata zone mining):
My level 76 Rogue just hit 525 mining..and no, not by being escorted around by higher level person. I mined saronite until 480ish, slapped on +5 enchant to gloves, then went to Uldum. If you fly around the very outside edge of Uldum you will find tons of Elementium. Most of it is outside of any aggro range of the level 83+ mobs as most the nodes are up on ledges. I ran across 4 other people mining, of which 2 were definitely robots-one of them even had misguided coords and would fall into a lake at the same point, every time in his circuit, 'fly' across the lake (swimming on the mount), hit a wall and keep trying to go straight until finally getting out at a shallow point). I followed advice of if finding myself behind someone else, I would turn and fly opposite direction. In about 2 hours, picked up 240+ Elementium and by that point was at 525 mining, so also was able to mine Pyrite, for a total of 37 pyrite ore, plus quite a few volatiles and gems (I'm a JC also). I '/lol' at the robots each time they land on top of me even though I'm already mining that node...wishing it was a pvp server. Yes..I died once-got a little too close to an l83 hyena thing while trying to run for a pyrite node-he saw through my 'Vanish'. Lesson: Stick to the outer edges.

I found that it's easier to find titanium veins by circling around icecrown while mining saronite. My server is a high pop. server, but for some reason, there's absolutly no competition in icecrown. Usually i find titanium veins right around the walls, high in the mountains, or in little nooks all around icecrown. I like titanium because usually i receive the following:
4-6 Titanium Ore
4-6 Crystallized Air
4-6 Crystallized Water
4-6 Crystallized Fire
4-6 Crystallized Earth
I also find a LK gems almost every 3 or 4 nodes.
By the time i leave icecrown on my server, i usually have TONS of Eternals(about 2 stacks of each), 3 or 4 stacks of Titanium Ore, and about 10-15 LK gems, including 2 or 3 rare LK gems.
All in all, it's a very good idea to farm this node, cause the Eternals are usually priced around 5g per on my realm, and are good for making gear in blacksmithing.
Titanium usually goes on my server for 20g a bar, so often, i find myself being drowned in gold after its all sold on the AH. As for the gems, i got 100g per cause i use them for Jewelcrafting :)

Stayed in Wintergrasp and felt like it became my 2nd home for awhile, haha! Leveled 70-75 there just from mining alone but it's also given me a good run for both tons of Saronite and Titanium. Just got my achievement tonight for Professional Illustrious Grand Master (525 in Cataclysm) and Rich Saronite goes gray at 525. Titanium however, does *not*. Stays green. As far as I can tell, you don't necessarily *need* to enter any Cata area to max out mining; just that it is probably easier to do so.
To everyone below 75 wondering why your mining (and training) stops and is not trainable any higher than 475, you do however, need to be a minimum of level 75 to get the last mining skill points.

Just leveled Mining on my druid and saw roughly 5-10 titanium veins between Scholozar and Wintergrasp over the course of an hour or so.
BTW, To those of you who are selling the Titanium as Bars instead of Ore, you might be making a big mistake. Even in Cata, the main way to obtain alot of Wrath epic gem recipes is through prospecting Titanium Ore to get Titanium Powder. It sells on my server for about 50g a pop, though it may sell for a lot less on yours, check to be sure.
Anyway, check for Titanium Powder and Titanium Ore in the AH. If you have a decent sized twinking community, the price on ore is likely to be higher than the price for bars.
....
Wondering why someone would care to get Wrath epic gem cut recipes?
For twinking, or playing with BiS gear at lower than max level. Wrath gems have no ilevel requirement unlike Cata gems.

My personal favorite for titanium (in the Storm Peaks) is a spot at 28.8;40.4.-right under the settlement in snowdrift plains. I patrol a route between the entrance for storm peaks from crystalsong up through Bor's Breath checking the cave south of valkyrion, then north up to snowdrift plains checking the other cave. Then i go to my spot(and usually find titanium), then down through the iron dwarf construction site down to brunhildar village, then through their Forlorn mine and to a point right south of K3 for another vein(aprox 40;88.9). Then back to the starting point at the entrance. The route takes about 10-15 mins on a 150% fly mount and I accumulate about 5-6 saronite stacks and 1-2 (if i'm lucky 3) titanium stacks. Hope this helps! :)

Saronite: x174
Titanium: x38
Fire: x32
Water: x38
Air: x32
Shadow: x51
Earth: x89
Shadow Crystal x2
Bloodstone x2
Forest Emerald x2
Dark Jade x2
Sun Crystal x2
Chalcedony x2
Autumn's Glow x1
Also, the time frame was around 9:45pm - 10pm server time. I had maybe one other player show up on my map, the rest were NPCs.

Right now, there is NO COOLDOWN on transmute titanium. 8 saronite bars for 1 titanium. I would recommend farm the hell out of Wintergrasp - there is saronite everywhere. Then talk to your friendly alchemist. I've got every profession maxed out on on toon or another. So I just do my own transmutation.
I get about 2 bars of Titanium per lap including trasnmuted. Slow. But better than going crazy looking for it everywhere.

Tip from 5.0 onward (5.2 for me right now). Farm Titanium in Wintergrasp in between battles. Wintergrasp is not a cross-realm zone, so you will not have to compete with players from other realms. If you're on a smaller realm, this is perfect.

Wintergrasp is definitely the best place for mining Titanium, I got about 30 Titanium ore in 20 min. In Sholazar Basin I got little more than a stack for mining over 2 hours. If the Battle for Wintergrasp is on, you can always go to Basin until it's over. Good luck with farming! ;)

Wintergrasp has NO nodes whatsoever. No saronite, no titanium, nothing. I was there during a "battle" (place was dead) and found nothing, so I went around the Basin a few times (90/10 saronite/titanium) and came back to WG after the battle was over. Flew over every inch of that place and not a node to be found. Icecrown had a fair few nodes, but that place is really hard to make good circuits around. Guess I'll stick with Sholazar.

My advice for people in desperate need of Titanium Ore.
find a Titanium Vein, stay near it and wait for it to re-spawn...

Play CoD or Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 while you wait for Titanium Vein to re-spawn.

Taraezor's Titanium Farming Guide
Wintergrasp
is by far the best place to farm for titanium ore. It is all to do with the:
size of the zone - very compact. A quick circumnavigation is the key to you being in control
likelihood you are alone - this is not a questing zone
higher spawn rate per possible node - probably due to the historical PvP nature of the zone
flat terrain - are you seriously going to farm in Storm Peaks or Icecrown? No time lost vertically travelling
absence of bots - never seen one in many years - possibly due to the time based PvP lockouts
bonus fire and also air elements - unobtainable (with certainty) elsewhere in Northrend
highest profit from time invested
In short,
Wintergrasp offers the perfect balance.
Look at the map above and design an efficient loop. Go to it. Around and around and around.
No titanium but plenty of saronite nodes?
Just bad luck. There is no science here. Things will fall your way eventually.
Here's a tip.
Several nodes spawn under bridges or under ledges in water. When I see that they contain plain saronite then I leave them be.
I'd rather be actively moving around the map than wasting time plunging into water, negotiating a ledge and then hitting an elemental mob. Then having to resurface. All the while with my rear end exposed to PvP.
Some people say to leave the saronite as titanium spawns are only able to replace rich saronite and even then the total of rich saronite and titanium is limited. There is no factual basis for this.
My
feeling
is that you
must
clear the rich saronite.
Maybe
the saronite too.
You want to profit from time invested.
Get to and grab the easy saronite because the laws of randomness can be cruel at times. Better to leave with something.
Note the higher level elementals spawning when your faction controls wintergrasp. Take out the fire ones. To a lesser extent the air as well. The ore will see you with a plentiful supply of other elemental WotLK-style essences.
Gems will fall aplenty and equally from titanium and rich saronite nodes.
(The fire and even the air too are much rarer across all of Northrend combined and it remains that this is the only sure way to farm these elements).
No use for all or any of these mats? Put them on the AH for the win.
Never ever refine or process these raw materials
such as these. They are much more valuable to crafters "as is".
If you have a competitor in Wintergrasp then you can game him/her as follows.
In this situation leave the saronite. Take only the good stuff, the rich saronite and the titanium. Ore will be, in this situation, spawning at a decent pace. Competitors take the rubbish and you grab the good stuff. Less profitable than solo farming but you are making the best of a tough situation.
With luck, any competitors will not be able to farm the rich saronite or titanium. Less likely nowadays with nuggets available.
No nodes at all?
Probably there will be no mobs as well. Exit the zone. Log out. Log in. Return. This thoroughly ensures you will have reset your Wintergrasp "phase". It is bugged so deal with it this way.
Battle about to commence or in progress?
Bad luck. Go farm elsewhere. Avoid Sholazar as it is the same as Un'Goro. That is, there is most likely someone doing laps around the perimeter. I do some Wyrmrest Accord, Kalu'ak, and Dalaran dailies while waiting. Even Sholazar dailies are better than farming ore in this situation.
Nodes disappearing as you approach them?
That is because they are actually just across the border in Dragonblight, for example. They disappear due to phasing across the border. Approach very very slowly and try to mine from as far away as possible but you must remain standing in Wintergrasp.
On a previous account I maxed my Dalaran jewelcrafting by farming titanium. That is one of the most brutal and time delayed/controlled grinds in the game. I learnt after months of farming that there is something
about Wintergrasp. Based upon extensive experience I am convinced that the combination of factors in my first paragraph, together with a magical respawn characteristic make for Wintergrasp to be the main farming zone.

In patch 10.0.5
Titanium Veins
continue to appear rarely from the Saronite which fortunately can appear one after another right after mining them.
