Due to popular demand Varimathras is back and just like his most famous line says he is always on the winning side meaning he will ally himself with the player (warlock players to be precise).

Several Warlock class quests in Legion hint towards big confrontation between warlock players and Mephistroth who is currently the leader of Nathrezim. Warlock Class Order Hall in first alpha was named "Seat of the Darkener" (Darkener was title of Tichondrius) implying warlocks actually wrestle Nathrezim command center from them during the contra-offensive.
