Horde equivalent to
Looks like these new NPC's only 'visit' Stage 3 Garrisons...
I have a level 3 Town Hall and have not had one visitor since the 6.1 patch... I guess they don't like me or my Garrison? Or is there something else I am missing?
I have 8 level 3 garrisons. The distribution between the NPCs appear to be very even.
Note, all of the
traders are of the same
, (i.e. fur,leather,herb,ore,dust) for
everyone on that day
. The same applies to the other quest givers. Harrison gives the same quest everywhere. The gold quest is all to kill the same NPC, The raid quest is all the same boss in the same raid. These rotate daily. The pet guest challenger even appeared at 2 or 8 garrisons to days in a row. Seems like which NPC is an even 20% chance.
Dungeon/Professions/Bounty/Raid/Relic. Since everyone gets the same quest from the NPC type, it should be easy to find someone to group with to get any quest that you need, for that given day. I think a bit of patience and pre-planning would go a long way here. Waiting until the quest day to get the materials required would cost a bit more gold than being ready for that day to arrive. Good Luck all, my bank is stacked after i saw someone buy out all the the leather on the first day and tripled the price for it.
This is one of several NPCs that can randomly spawn in your garrison each day. They will appear in the entryway of your level 3 town hall. Some of the NPCs will offer quests while others will be traders. Everyone on your realm will have the same trader if they get the trader, but whether you get the trader or a questgiver will be up for individuals is random each day.
You can use a questgiver or trader at someone else's garrison.
Have them invite you into a group, and then right-click your own portrait and select "view leader's garrison". This will take you to their garrison and you can use whatever NPC they have there. ★
will appear in your menagerie and offer the bonus pet battle daily,
. There are several different versions of her, so please see
for more info on her and her pet teams.
Traders will offer a daily quest to exchange 50 of a prof mat (ore, leather, fur, etc) for 25x
. After that, you can buy primals from them using the mats (5xmats for 1xprimal spirit), as well as some recipes for that profession. Quests you pick up will be turned into
, so you do not need to return to someone else's garrison to turn them in if you didn't pick up the quest in your own garrison.

I think I've finally collected all of the information on this, but I will update this comment if I discover anything new. You may also be interested in checking out the wonderful guide to 6.1 garrison visitors
Evidently she is the last trader in the new 'schedule' Blizz implemented following the overwhelmingly negative response to tying the new 6.1 profession recipes to these RNG traders. She should first appear on North American realms tomorrow March 3rd.

Got new Alchemy recipes today thanks to good man that shared his Garrison throught LFR custom and set autoinvite.
Nobody even mentioned about 20k gold fee. This really brings back my faith in humanity :)
Visit to leader's Garrison
Do not have the trader in one of your level 3 Garrisons or need to have your profession learn the new recipes? There are very nice people that open up their garrison to everyone for free.
Be in your garrison with the mats you want to buy Primals or recipes with. If the recipe needs 60 starflower, better have 60 starflower in your bags, heh. Their garrison will probably have a storehouse with access to your bank or to the guilds bank but its better to be prepared beforehand.
Go to Group Finder.
Select Premade Groups.
Select Find a Group.
Pick a group that has your trader in it. I usually select a group that has auto-invite in the title but almost all groups auto-invite.
You will be asked what role you want to play. Just pick one.
You will join the group.
On your portrait in the top left corner, right click on it. In the (long) dropdown, you will have "Visit the Leaders Garrison". Select that. You will have a loading screen and then be just outside the host garrison. The garrison may have other things that you would like to use such as a disenchant cauldron or listen to their jukebox.
Travel to the trader in the doorway foyer of the main hall. Get your goodies. Thank your host by typing /raid (spacebar) Thank You. Leave the party on another right click to your portrait. Once more click on your portrait and select "Visit my Garrison".
And a big thank you to all of these nice folks to do this for us.
EDIT: I too now invite folks to my Garrison.
Go to Group Finder
Select Premade Groups
Start a Group
Put in the title, your reason for group: herb trader, enchanting hut, whatever you are offering.
The Details box can be used to fully list your garrison attractions, Auctioneer, Mage tower Portal jumpers (always a favorite), trading post, etc.
Click on the Auto Accept box
Convert to Raid (to prevent the group from being limited in size). I also unlock the raid as I find it helps to prevent it from automatically delisting.
Sit back, relax, grab a meal and watch the visitors flow in and out.
When you are ready to exit, click on "Delist my Group" button and folks should clear out after 5-10 minutes. If they are still in the raid but not doing anything in your Garrison, warn them that you are closing the raid and then close the raid by removing all the participants.
She shows up in one of my Garrisons, but does not show up in my level 100 rouge Herbalist Garrison. on same day... this is getting frustrating...
Nice macro to use most of your herbs fast, just spam it:
The question no one has asked -- What are the clothes she is wearing and are they available in-game?
Will update the post when I find the answer.
Thanks for the comments we have the top as

FOR GILNEAS! FOR LIAM! if you didn't know Samantha is from Gilneans
It's Aug 4th today and this page says Samantha Scarlet (Herb Trader) is up - am I reading that correctly? The date is highlighted in green. But in fact, Jake the Fox (Leather Trader) is today's profession trader (verified using the in-game Group Finder). Can this be fixed?
This is a confusing system that no-one has explained properly yet.
Q: What is this system?
A: It is a system of vendors and questgivers that rotate randomly on a daily basis in your garrison in Warlords of Draenor.
Q: How do I activate the system?
A: The system is automatically activated upon upgrading your town hall to level 3, which you can do once you reach level 100.
Q: Where are the NPCs located?
A: For alliance, they are always in the small entryway when you first enter your town hall. When you enter the entryway from outside, there is a table of books on your right and a doorway leading to another room with Jeff Miller <Guild Emissary> to your left. The NPCs are always in that room with the table of books.
Q: I cannot find the NPC I want.. Why not?
A: They rotate randomly on a daily basis and only one is available in your town hall per day.
Q: What possible NPCs can spawn?
A: You will get either (1) Muradin Bronzebeard - he will offer two quests. One quest is to kill one of the raid bosses in WoD. The other quest will be to kill one of the 5 man bosses in WoD. (2) Harrison Jones will spawn. He will offer one of 6 Treasure contract quests. Completing all of the quests yields and achievement and Harrison Jones becomes a follower. (3) Renzik "The Shiv" will spawn. He offers bounty quests which leads into the Ring of Blood questline. The Ring of Blood questline awards gold, apexis crystals and upgrade tokens for followers. Renzik can be skipped imo. (4) Vendors. Either Dorothy Two (fur trader), Jake the Fox (Beast Hide), Alexi Hackercam (ore trader), Samantha Scarlet (herb trader), or Enchantress ismae (dust trader) will spawn. Each of these offer advanced recipes and patterns that cannot be obtained anywhere else for professions. Best to check every day to see if one has spawned for you.
Q: I want a specific trader to spawn but it never shows up! I'm frustrated! Is there another option?
A: Yes. Other players may have the trader you want. Only 1 type of trader spawns per day for everyone. Ask other players to check to see what trader has spawned for them. Then you can visit their garrison and use their trader.
This NPC needs to be edited - she sells
for 5 of ANY Warlords Herbs.
EU Realms: 2017/09/09. It's 09/09 already and Scarlet is nowhere to be found. All I can find is Renzik "The Shiv"
She's spawned in my EU garrison right now but according to the site she should spawn tomorrow!
Does Samantha Scarlet still spawn in the Garrison town hall? I've been watching for her for weeks now, and have yet to see her.
This is now sold by the garrison quarter master, next to the garrison resource pile.
There has been sent in a bug report in june, here is the response:

Will be fixed alongside with the other garrison features, not a priority for now.
You can find the post under wow freaks, samantha scarlet
It has been known by Blizz for nearly 4 months, and they don't do nothing. Maybe a campaign of bug reports would do it.
Not only a garrisson lvl 3 but also the herb shack lvl 3
It's important to note that if you haven't build any herb shack past lvl 1 then none off the profession traders will spawn at your garrison untill you build lvl2 or lvl3.
Just to be sure I went to lvl 3 to see them spawn. Tested: I never saw any professional traders before for at least 2 or 3 months!
Spawned today 2019/23/12 on Gurubashi, lvl 3 garrison with lvl 2 garden
Seemingly its following the EU realm dates that wowhead is reporting, but my realm is NA
there is a bug with zone date spawn: if in EU check NA date and viceversa.
Check the spawn dates on Wowhead
For EU servers use NA date.
For NA servers use EU date.
If you don't have the vendor spawn in your garrison, join a group of a guildmate or via group finder, then visit their Garrison.
Spawned in EU on 01/01/2020, so on the NA date. Seems fairly certain now, that the NA and EU dates on Wowhead are mixed up.
But here's the thing: it's not a guaranteed spawn. I waited for Nicholas Mitrik for months and never got him. Today was the day he was supposed to spawn and Saurfang was grinning in my face again instead. So I relogged to an Alliance alt on a different server and voila, the Alliance equivalent, Samantha Scarlet, was up. Logged back to Horde and was lucky that a guild mate was on (quite a happy coincidence, this being mid BfA and all). He relogged to an alt on yet another server and when I visited his Garrison, Nicholas was up.
So I tested a few more hypothesis:
dependent on professions or profession buildings. The Alliance character that had Samantha Scalet up didn't even have Alchemy or Inscription as professions nor one of the associated crafting huts. The Horde character with Alchemy and a level 3 hut didn't have Nicholas Mitrik up.
dependent on the server. Another Alliance character on the same server didn't have Samantha Scarlet up (professions Mining and Engineering).
dependent on the Herb Garden. All characters had that at level 3.
dependent on the Menagerie or Fishing Hut. Alliance character with vendor up didn't have the former unlocked and the latter at level 1. So did the Horde character without the vendor up.
The only difference I could notice was that the Alliance character with the vendor up had their Frostwall Mines at level 2, whereas both other characters had theirs at level 3.
OK I can confirm that Samantha Scarlet appeared in my garrison today, 04/11/2020. I'm on Lothar, a NA server, so Yes, the dates of her appearance are transposed with those of the EU servers.
As mentioned elsewhere already, any of the vendors may be replaced by quest givers on any day: Muradin Bronzebeard, Renzik "The Shiv", Harrison Jones. I had to wait 2 weeks to catch Samantha, and in those 2 weeks, the quest givers appeared 8 times, leaving only 5 times for the traders: twice for Alexi Hackercam (Ore Trader), twice for Dorothy "Two" (Fur Trader) and today, the first time for Samantha Scarlet (Herb Trader).
I'd waited all this time to pick up the Tome of Sorcerous Elements and Tome of the Stones, and a couple of other recipes. If you're in the same boat, keep checking your garrison every day - eventually you'll get her.
Good luck and have fun with the game!
She spawned in my garrison today but was gone when I came back with mats to buy from her. I keep all my WoD mats on an alt. I logged out to my alt, when I returned 5 minutes later Muradin was there.
If you're looking for the Tome of the Clear Mind recipe, Sergeant Crowler has it.
Samantha sells the following Inscription recipes that I was unable to learn after buying them. While the recipes are still available, the items they make are greyed out and unavailable. I did not receive an error message of any kind, so passing along for group knowledge!
Save the time it takes to buy and get a refund, and just avoid these recipes!
Samantha Scarlet... people think of her as the Messiah, she is said to show up every 2000 years or so at your garrison. But I don't buy those fairy tales. I think Samantha is probably God itself! She doesn't bloody exist!
Here is my PROBLEM I have searched and not once did I find a hint in any way to tell me where to look more defined that lunarfall.
Should I plan on spending 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 hours a day for 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 weeks searching for her or can someone narrow it down some? it might be quicker to start a new toon as a Miner. LW or JC.
I wrote a small tool that shows which trader might be in your garrison today and on the following days. Results in the bottom right corner:
