these are some really annoying mobs, they do high damage, and they stun you, if theres more than 1 they are able to stun lock you and kill you very fast
these mobs are really getting on my nerves, the pack of these wolves comes out of nowhere everytime i try to kill something important(rare elites or quest mobs) and ruins my game...
be ignored if you are mounted and don't stop at all.... But once they get you, you're toast.
And you won't want to catch the attention of more than max... 3?
You'll want to run away when they start casting their leap - that way you avoid the stun, however your reaction time needs to be very quick, and you need to create quite the distance
Jeebus, why do they roam in packs of 4? Holy mother of god they killed me fast after blowing all cooldowns as a paladin.... These guys have a very long leash to reset too.
Are these overpowered or bugged? they are doing a insane damage, much more than any boss around and they are just regular wolves...
The non-faction aligned
Garadar Wolf Rider
of Draenor's Nagrand. They run fast, attack fast and chain their
ability which will keep you stunned into death if you're caught unawares. They don't debuff otherwise so many aggro drops work as well as the advice previously posted.

stopped dropping bones?
If you see at least three of these wolves running after you, RUN. Run as fast and as far as you can. Don't look back. Also known as the "Death wolves pack" these guys hit for 15k with their bite in my 99 lvl mage, and 8k in every AA. Avoid their jump, it's not done in the direction he looks at, its done towards you. The stun anyways, only lasts a second, but if a few more wolves do it to you you'll most likely be dead in a matter of seconds.
These in a pack are OP. Got pissed off at them when they interrupted an elite kill and went after them with the siege engine. Four of these turned it into rubble in less then 5 seconds. It's just not right I tell you, wolves shouldn't even be able to damage a vehicle.
Hilarious: Hate those stuns? Do this:
If you bring a critter along with you, they will Leap for the Kill it, instead of you.
There was a squirrel hanging out near
, so being me, I used my
to gather him to my side, then headed into the prowler zone for the bonus objective, and soon found my cute army of critters being stunned to death by ninja wolves. ...After I cried, I was able to dispatch the baddies efficiently.
At max range for a Fire Mage they can't use their Leap for the Kill skill so they just stand there and look stupid.
These mobs are great if you want to do a lot of trapping :) Not sure what they're like on a tanky or clothy toon, but on ranged they aren't a problem. Granted, more than 3 or 4 can end up being an issue.
I actually like these. I was jumped by a pack of 6 of these tonight for the first time and it has been probably the only thing time I've been surprised by a bunch of "normal" mobs. They roam in a pack and pose a huge threat so you have to stay on your toes and can't steamroll them like every other mob.
There is a dead one next to an

Kited 3 into Yrel's Watch and /laugh(ed) as I watched them get hacked to pieces by the Telaari Footmen... So satisfying!
