Gezzarak is rather easy, as she only has two abilities: a charge and an armor debuff. Just keep her off casters and you'll do fine. Can be two-manned with the right classes.

Gezzarak is a 72 elite warp hunter. She occasionally warps to someone on the threat list and does aoe damage to those nearby, so don't stand near eachother. She hits for ~1k and another ability hits for ~1.7k, and, as we found out the hard way, is not easy for two people. We had a beast mastery hunter and a 31/30/0 priest and had a hard time with her. I'd advise three people to be safe.

Solod today on my holy pally, very very tough fight though.
1- Judge wisdom and use seal of wisdom
2-Never use holy shock as an offensive spell. This is your instant heal right after the knockback allowing a larger heal.
3-Bop and Bubble when ever you can.
4-Try timing your stuns for when you have no bubble and have warp armor on.
5-You will use mana pots, but the gold you make from betting people that you could solo him makes up for it.
I should also note that I am t6, He hits hard, so lesser geared pallys might not wanna try. Positioning is very important. I had my back to a cliff about 80% of the time to keep the number of adds down.
Good luck if you decide to try, but its probably better if you dont.

(2)Dont feign death if your about to die cause she WILL Despawn

Just tamed this beastie on Frostmourne (Oceanic server) as a lvl72 BM Hunter. It still has the fantastic summoning animation on the public realms!
You have to go through 2 chains of quests in order to be able to summon it, too. Bear in mind each time you summon it, it will cost you 10 Time-Lost Scrolls.
It took a well co-ordinated party consisting of 2 Paladins (lvl73 and 70) and a Rogue (lvl70) from my guild and myself in communication over Vent as well as a lot of luck.
Some factors you'll have to bear in mind:
Tame Pet needs to take 20 seconds in channel. Plus, the hunter must hold aggro throughout the channeling, otherwise it will break the channeling if someone else pulls Gezzarak's aggro.
It's immune to every movement hindering move EXCEPT for Stun.
It behaves like any other Warp Stalker, of course - it can teleport anywhere up to 30 yards.
It will be extremely erratic with its aggro - even if you have no threat whatsoever, you still can pull aggro.
As stated before, it hits hard - anywhere between 1.7k to 2k of damage, so you have to manage the heals without pulling too much aggro from the hunter who wants to tame it.
Its hits also knock you back by up to 20 or so yards, which is why you need to get rid of the surround adds before summoning it.
If you kill it and you're doing the quest Adversarial Blood, you won't be able to summon it again as you have done that part of the quest. So, if you need to bail and regroup, just run and try to stay alive!
How we did it?
Get rid of all the adds in the area first. Gezzarak will randomly warp between places, increasing your chance of pulling unnecessary adds.
Have the rest of the party stand at least 30 yards away from Gezzarak.
Have the hunter place an Explosive Trap where Gezzarak will spawn (on the Skull Pile) before the hunter him/herself summons Gezzarak (this is purely for co-ordination sake - the hunter WILL have to call the shots!)
When it spawns, Gezzarak will go after the hunter, the closest thing in the vicinity. It will trigger the trap, adding to the threat level of the hunter.
After some pewpewing and sufficient threat has been attained, the hunter should call out TAMING and start channeling Tame Beast. The first Pally should step in and stun Gezzarak with the hunter counting down the time to the end of the stun.
The next Pally should then come and also cast HoJ on Gezzarak. The Rogue can come and attack it to get enough points for Cheap Shot/Kidney Wound/Whatever else it needs to do to stun. The reason we had the Rogue last was so that it couldn't pull so much aggro with attacking Gezzarak by this stage, but it can reset with Vanish.
Rogue should Stun Gezzarak and the hunter should be able to finish taming it!
This strategy worked for us on our second attempt, which was a fair effort. I had seen it tamed on a beta realm, but wasn't sure if it had been tamed on a public realm and if it still had its animation - it can still be tamed and it still retains its animation :) Yay!
Good luck with taming it if you're keen - it's well worth the effort!

Tamed on Shu'Halo server last night. :D
Due to diminishing returns, we only got about 11 seconds of stun time on our attempts. Gezzarak liked to then switch targets when her stun was up, no matter how much aggro I had.
I remembered the old spirit wolves that hunters could tame for that small while, and the strategy of using spell haste to shorten their tame time.
A lot of new Northrend gear has haste rating, and some questing in Borean Tundra gave me enough silly quest reward green gear with haste to give me about 316 haste rating. And, the undead slaying gear from the Scourge Invasion event (that just passed) also has a lot of haste on it, which helped my boost. I also had the
First Mate's Pocketwatch
from a Howling Fjord quest, which would give me 140 more haste rating when used, and I ate some of the new Imperial Manta Ray haste food.
If I were to combine this with a Shaman who used Bloodlust, and use of the Drums of Battle, that would give me enough haste to reduce the cast time of Tame Beast to
about 12 seconds
. It was a bit of effort to get all of this planned out and acquired, but I think it was well worth it, and less stressful. (And it gave me more excuses to quest!)
My party for this method included myself, two paladins, and a leatherworking-shaman. We had a prot paladin who was directing everyone in what to do. The other paladin was holy, and was already hard-wired to toss me heals if needed. The shaman had helped hunters tame about 4 of those spirit wolves, so she was familiar with this scenario. I'm still very thankful to them all for volunteering their time to help out. :)
My former process of taming was the one outlined by Cathwyn above, with two paladins and a rogue, and we attempted it about 5 times (and got really close!) before I had to farm more scrolls. With all of my new haste, and a shaman in place of the rogue, we got her the first try of last night, and it was very exciting.
I laid the explosive trap, summoned the beast, and shot an an arcane shot when she aggroed, for quick burst damage. I then had her wail on me until she did the first knockback. This could take anywhere from 2 to 5 seconds. Gezzarak's randomness is the most frustrating part of this whole thing, but waiting for that first knockback is crucial, as you know she won't do it again for at least 5 seconds, or possibly longer.
No one else would attack during this time. If a paladin wanted to throw a heal, they had to be careful not to over-aggro. We found that if a paladin did a self-bubble and tossed a heal, there would be no over-aggro. At some point the shaman hit bloodlust and her haste drums; we told her to use them whenever, as they'd both last long enough.
Immediately I popped my trinket as I was flying through the air, and hit tame beast. I had modified my action bars so the two buttons were side by side, and very large. I called my tame out to everyone as well.
About 2 seconds later, the prot paladin hit her with Hammer of Justice. He had the glyph that prolongs the effect by 1 second, so there's 7 seconds of stun there.
The second paladin came in right as it ended for the ~3.5 second stun. We were already prepared for a slight overlap in stuns, but he managed to pull off the second one with such amazing timing that there was no overlap and also no interruption in taming.
Confirming the remaining stun time with the time left in my taming cast bar, I raised my hands in victory.
Everyone was real excited to see that summoning animation stick around. The best use of it is dismounting; the lightning bolt will hit
you
.
I don't plan to use her in pvp, so that bug she has is not an issue. The biggest issue for me is that I cannot misdirect to her; she generates plenty of aggro on her own, but for mobs immune to growl there's a lot of waiting involved. If Blizzard gives her the same treatment as the Death Ravager... if she can at least raise happiness by growling via the Guard Dog talent, I'll be happy.

At the moment I have to switch between 2 different tanking-pets since other players cannot buff or heal this warp stalker, making her pretty useless for anything besides solo-play. I would hate to get rid of her though since she is, in my opinion, the most exiting and special tank-pet one can find. If anyone have any information about a possible fix, please let us know!
I know the Death Ravager suffered from the same problems and he was made untameble, but has there been any similar case where Blizzard has sorted it out?

Just tamed her :D It was stressful but so worth it, I feel very proud :P
I did it with the help of two Pallies. It was hard getting the stuns right and the first knockback happened much sooner than I'd expected so I wasn't really prepared and ended up wasting deterrance. We managed to do it on about the 5th or 6th try with one of the Pallies putting a stun on her at the perfect time. I think there's a lot of luck and chance involved. Should also say that I have hardly any haste and ended up using aspect of the viper most of the time as I ran out of mana for taming her. So it is doable without a whole lot of dodge or haste, though I imagine it would be very useful to have a bit of both.
Thanks very much Milalyr and Kurasu, your tips were extremely helpful :)
Now I'm just left with the dilemma of naming her, I think it has to be something special :P

Hit 80 yesterday and thought, I need a cool looking pet, which isn't easily obtained. Found this and thought, Booyah!
Taming got a bit stressful as the taming channeling bar was going down at the same rate as my health, so I had my doubts. However, I managed to tame her alone the second she killed me! I didn't know if I had tamed her until I ressed and clicked on call pet, saw the huge bolt of red lightning and went, WOWOWOWO!
Very very happy with my new pet :)

Solo tamed her myself ^^ Don't have a video to show it (wouldn't have a clue how to either, haha).
After several agonizing levels just waiting to get high enough to tame her, I set out at level 75 with a paladin guildie of mine to tame her. 4 summons later (40 Scrolls ;_;) and no dice, one paladin just didn't fit the bill.
I gave up until I hit level 80, and decided after I had tamed the lovely Nuramoc for my upcoming PvP grind, that I had to have this Huntress accompany through my end-game adventures. Took a few elixirs with me, grabbed 10 Time-Lost Scrolls, and summoned her on my own, hoping for the best.
At this point the video of the solo tame gave me much confidence, not to mention my boyfriend spamming words of encouragement in part chat. So I summoned her, put my Explosion trap down, backed away, pelted her with an Arcane Shot, and tapped Tame Beast.
Longest 20 seconds of my life.
She warped, and I flinched at the fact she might follow it with a knockback, but she just kept snapping at me. Can't tell anyone how happy I am with her, I've always had a Warp Stalker with me since The Burning Crusade was released, and Gezzarak makes me proud of my abilities as a hunter. Love seeing people /gasp when I summon her in the middle of Dalaran. *grins*
Unfortunately, like all Gezzarak owners, I'm stuck with the horrible bug of not being able to cast Misdirect (or any kind of buff for that matter), which makes me sad, seeing as I'm used to spamming Misdirect to add to that overwhelming amount of aggro these beasties seem to hold. Like many before me, I really hope she doesn't follow in the same footsteps of our beloved Ravager, as I want to show the entire world this amazingly wonderful pet, not just as a show pet, but in dungeons and groups too. =3
For all those struggling to tame her, don't give up, she can be solo tamed, and sometimes, that might be all it takes. Good luck all you hunters! xXx

no to bring bad news but i found some things with mine and wounder if anyone other then me have these bugs
i didn't bother to try BG"s figured ill take everyone's word on that
my room mate took her to raid and found that she can not be ressed or healed by any other player so it seems there are 3 pronounced bugs with this incredible looking pet i will have this one forever she is really worth every flaw
every time i sign on dismount call her or res her it is a real treat it would be a treat if blizzard would fix her but also as she is she is quite unique best of luck to anyone who takes this beauty on

She cant be missdirected, buffed or healed by others in a dungeon, she cant attack players from the opposite faction nor does Ferosious inspiration work.
she does keep her awsome summon and can be healed and buffed by partymembers outside of a dungeon/raid though. But that doesnt help much on a pvp realm and if ure running dungeons often. :(
i think imma let her go.

I have only tried it 3 times so i cant tell you musch about the pet.All I know really is you need to have 10 time lost scrolls to summon him.You need elixer of shadows you get from getting shadow dust. You need to get 6 shadow dusts to get the elixer.Im trying a stratgy where you get a pet get it happy then summon the warp stalker. After that make sure you have plenty of aggro then abandon the pet you have then start the tame.It would help if you have a rogue to kindey shot him.It will also help if you can get a paky to heal you and stun hime for like 3 or 5 secs.I hope you get this awsome looking pet.Good luck and happy hunting.=)
P.S.you have to have a flying mount to get to skettis.Hope that helps!

Tamed her last week on Blackhand solo at 80. A few tips: I picked up some speed pots from the AH for a few gold (+500 haste rating for 15 sec.), and had my first mate's pocketwatch equipped. I gathered 30 scrolls for a few consecutive attempts. I summoned her, popped the pocketwatch and speed pots, tagged her with arcane shot and began taming. First two tries were no go. On the third i stood
with my back against a tree
,
so when she charged, it did interrupt the tame, but there was no knock back, so i was able to begin taming again right away. Finished taming her with 726 hp left! While she is flawed as mentioned above, she makes a great pet for a marksman doing dailies or farming. Try popping a mob with an instant shot while mounted with the stalker on defensive and in range of it's warp ability. A bolt of lightning crashes down behind the mob and it begins attacking instantly. Looks really cool. Good luck.

Quick and Easy Guide to Taming Gezzarak with Rogue(s)
1. Clear the area, and have the hunter summon.
2. Get a shot or two off on her, so the hunter maintains her attention should the rogue(s) accidentally autoattack.
3. From stealth, one rogue Cheap Shots, stops attack, and then Kidney Shots, and stops attack.
4. Rogue vanishes, and repeats Step 3.
5. If necessary, a second rogue repeats Step 3 (or if Subtlety spec'd, the same one casts Preparation first).
6. Enjoy pet! :D
This rogue helped a hunter get it today. I ended up only running Step 3 once, but with Premeditation, there were also 5 points of Kidney Shot running. :)

Had my bf stun her almost the whole time with his 71 rogue.... Worked peachy once our timing lined up!
To keep aggro, drop a immo trap and slap her around with a serpent sting. Good luck and good hunting!

She works perfectly with Misdirect and attacks other players in PVP environments!
Not sure if other party members can heal her - would be great to find out from another owner if she can be healed :)

For those who have not done quests in the skettis area ( or those who have, I am exalted with skyguard and just never did or saw this) here is what you do to
spawn and then
tame
gezzarak:
1. First fly up to skettis and begin to kill random mobs to collect shadow dust which can be turned into elixir of shadows ( you need 6 for one elixir, I would collect 12) You'll need a second later.
The pots will allow you to see the talon priests.
2. go to the starting area where the nether ray mounts are, and turn in the shadow dust for elixirs. I think the skyguard medic does this.
3. head to the tree house area by the island. There is a tree house that is on the island that has a bridge over the water to another. Use the elixir and land up on that second story, you should now see the talonpriest in shadow form. If not there, then check another platform. You looking for the drop Ishaal's Almanac. This should be brought to Sky Commander Adaris. You be doing this quest:
伊沙尔的历书
4. there is a line of quests:
贫民窟的盟友
-An Ally in Lower City
5.
末日将至
-Countdown to Doom
6.
哈吉克的协议
- Hazzik's Bargain
7.
粗糙的伪装
- A Shabby Disguise
8.
仇敌的血脉
- Adversarial Blood
You will need
10 Time-Lost Scrolls to summon Geezarak
; it may not go will the first time, so I would collect 20. To collect these scrolls, take the elixir and look for the talonpriests on the second floor of the tree houses/platforms. (you could also complete the other talonpriest quest in this ares, although it has nothing to do with geezarak) Begin looking in the same area that you found the first priest and then search the others near by.
I found 3-5 of the talonpriests per second floor and it seemed the drop rate was about 1 in 3. I collected 20 because I had never done the summon and did not know what to expect. It went fairly fast.
Once you have your 10-20, find an area where you see the pile of skulls.
Clear the area of mobs. If you like, use a haste pot or stamina, but also pop deterrence.
Once you click the skulls, you will get a choice of WHO to summon, so you don't need to worry about which pile.
If you fail. go to another pile and try again. I used an ice trap, but I don't remember it working. So it may or may not. I did use a haste pot and of course deterrence.
It was not a difficult tame once I knew where exactly she would spawn. My gear is fairly average mix of epics/ and few blues. I think most 80's would be fine.
This is from memory, but I think it is fairly accurate. Hopefully it will save someone from doing what I did- at first. Adding Gezzarak to NPC scan and flying around is not the way. At least I only did that for an hour before doing some "research".

As of Patch 4.0.3a she is tameable again yay!
I tamed her today at lv72. It took four attempts before we got her tamed. First attempt I messed up and instead of focusing on her, had a mob left so got owned. Second time my friend who has a lv80 Orc Shaman came to help. Each time I had her almost tamed, I got knocked back into the air as I was warned here up above... if he healed me, she went after him. Needless to say we died... Third attempt we tried to use his hexes on her... she's immune to them and she didn't seem to care about stuns either.
This is how we got her:- A third friend brought her priestess, lv80 Discipline Priestess: and she placed three buffs on me, a Regeneration spell (I can't recall it's name), Power Word: Shield and Power Word: Fortitude. I placed the Ice Trap right on the skull pile, making sure as directed here: I had my back to the tree and when she appeared pressed my back to it. Using the Potion of Speed for it's +500 Haste up as well as an Elixir of Lightning Speed (+45 Haste, Battle Elixir): I started taming. By the time the Shield wore off, she was already mine. No knockback as the shield negated it and no breaks in taming.

just tamed her yesterday (on my 81 hunter)
since I'm wearing most if not all cata gear I would have had the ability to last through about 10-12 (maybe more) knockbacks.
After the first knock back, I knew just what to do.
I put myself in position for the furthest knock back I could get, hovered over tame beast and waited...the second I was knocked back and standing I hit tame beast and it worked like a charm.
Don't bother trying to freeze her lol.
I cannot see this warp stalker becoming ultra common because of the effort needed to reach her and the almost "cross your fingers" tame of her.

Ok, just tamed it tonight. Pretty smexy for a warp stalker. Had to go back and do a half dozen complicated, lame-o lvl 70 BC quests, but didn't take forever. The guides on here and other sites helped.
I think warp stalkers are great hunter pets for soloing, since they're tenacity and have the 50% slow skill for keeping targets at distance, if necessary. Possibly pvp, haven't tried it yet...I like my spiders. They just keep dying on me with no rez.
I used to think warp stalkers were fugly...actually still do, hah...but they're growing on me. Some cool colors on this one, even tho it looks like a teletubby had a baby with a lizard...lol

How To: Tame Gezzarak the Huntress
Requirements: Atleast level 72; (if under level 82 grab a healer)
First) Grab 6 Dusts turn em in for the potion then start killing Time-Lost Arrakoa for 10 Time-Lost Scrolls
Second) Summon Gezzarak the Huntress
Third) I would suggest getting her in Max Range from your Tame Beast ability
Fourth) Be sure that you have Disengage on your bars as well as Detterance as they are a great help in this tame because if she knocks you back Hit Detterance and Disengage and start again.
I got mine my fourth attempt at level 80. It is very hard even at level 80 because she doesn't have a huge health pool she hits like a truck though.

I just tamed this beauty today, after a week of failed attempts :) I'm a BM hunter Eng, so i got Hyperspeed accelerators (

远古狂乱
), and my gloves, and tamed.
I think there was a glitch, because the bar still was about a third full when Gezz was tamed, and I was freaking out because if it kept going then I'd die before i got her... again :( But now I have my favourite Warp Stalker, and named him (because he got a virtual sex change) Bastastrasz, just like the Dragons of Lore :D
Lvl 73 with mixed dungeon blues and quest greens with one dodge ring that dropped for my once. afterwards i had about 2.5k / 10.2k health :)

I managed to tame her a while ago on my lvl 72 hunter, i tried to use the beastial wrath trick that someone had mentioned but it no longer repels the knockback, i died maybe 6 times before i got an idea, this is what i did:
i summoned her at the pile that got 2 huts nearby (73.5,80.7). I placed myself in the hut with the nest+egg next to it, drank a haste potion and started to tame her, she didn't run straight at me when i stood in there so it bought me some time, the tame got through just when she started to cast her knockback spell.

Managed to tame this pretty as a lvl 79 BM. Third try. How I did it?
1. Clean the area of everything, including birds.
2. Put down a frost trap, the trap that slows, the other one doesn't work.
3. Summon, back up against a wall in a house.
4. Concussive shot, pop deterrance and start tame.
5. Beg the spirits that she won't use her knockback before the tame is done.
Can't say it was only skill, I was lucky she didn't use her knockback during the tame. But she's awesome friends. So if you don't have her already, get her!

Coming in 5.1: amongst the multitudes of new rares coming up, this model will be used amongst them on a warpie named Zormus. He will be at the bottom of a crypt in Badlands.

I don't understand why everyone does the quest to get this pet. There is a easy way to get this pet without having to do all the quest work:
Name: Zormus
Level: 47
Elite: No
Rare: Yes
Spawn Time: Unknown
Tamable: Yes (A/H)
Abilities: Bite, Growl, Cower, Time Warp (Special Ability)
Looks: Black and orange
Head to Badlands. Find the town of Dustwind Dig. Just south of Dustwind Dig, there is a crypt. If you look at your map, the crypt is around the "Dig" in Dustwind Dig on your map. Go down under ground of this crypt. Before getting to the bottom of the stairs, dismiss your current pet.
In the room of this crypt, there is a black warp stalker. He/She sits to your right at the far back corner of the room. His/Her name is Zormus, and he/she is level 47. Be careful, as Zormus blends in well with the darkness of the crypt, and he/she will jump you if you go into the room to far. He/She is the only thing within this room. From the bottom of the stairs, Tame Beast, and you now have a new pet!
This is a rare beast and there are quests that bring people to the crypt but I find this place to be a bit of a "dead zone", so your chances of finding Zormus there are pretty good. I stop by the crypt today (December 17, 2012) and Zormus was there as a sitting duck. Zormus may or may not be there when you arrive, but I can confirm that Zormus does hid out within the crypt. I didn't tame Zormus as I already did that a few weeks ago.

Hope This Helps!

Surprised no one has mentioned this,
Glyph of tame beast
would be a great glyph to use to tame Gezzarak. When I was taming I found that I would always be pushed back within the last 2-3 seconds. Would have saved me a lot of hassle. Hope it helps!

Okay, so my question about this mob... Gezzarak the Huntress is one of (the descendants of) the four ancient enemies of Terokk. As of Spires of Arak, we know a lot more about Terokk, his history, and his enemies. So, knowing that, let's take a look at these enemies you have to kill to summon Terokk badly. The "Heretic" Arakkoa makes perfect sense, probably a Sethekk leader, possibly the descendant of one of the Adherants who cast Terokk down. The Wind Serpent? Absolutely, they're the children of Sethe. The crystal giant is somewhat explicable since they're probably somewhere in the spectrum of the Breakers: Gronn, Magnaron, Goren, and other stuff that's hostile to anything made of meat or wood rather than rock. Easy to see how Terokk could have gotten in a fight with one of those. And then there's Gezzarak the Huntress. What in Anzu's name did a warp stalker,
an unintelligent animal
, do that got Terokk so mad?

If any hunters are wondering, she does NOT keep the name Gezzarak the Huntress. When tamed she becomes Warp Stalker.

They changed her in Shadowlands and she now keeps her name, making her worth the trouble!
