Spawns on top of the hill by the little house /way 53.0, 35.0 in the normal phase.

It despawned after about 30mins once it was killed. After despawning, it respawn a couple minutes later.

realm hopped for a couple of hours and didn't see it spawn, suddenly it's up on my realm, but a weird suspicion and hopped realms a bunch of time, it was up in all of them, tested with snacker as well, seems like *some* of the rares in the isle are on some kind of global timer i think

Edit: It respawned within 8 minutes of me killing it, I'm guessing they work on a rotation of them spawning quickly during a short timer?

It just spawned on a lot of different realms at once at 7:01PM EST on the US servergroup, and I've never seen it up otherwise. This might be another one of those rares that's on a schedule or rotation.

After being nowhere to be seen for over 3 hours this spawned at 15:01 EU server time only to then respawn at 5 minute intervals, this continued for at least 30 mins (I left the isle do don't know if that continued).

I have noticed similar behaviour of long gaps then frequent respawns of other rares albiet the respawn time vary between 5-15 mins.

Given the similar observations form other commenters I have a strong suspicion that the rares that are up every week (Shardsong, Gunnlog, Ghostmaker, Slaughtershell, Bloodbrine, Snacker) have an Argus like spawn pattern where they alternate between "up and "down" phases - spawning frequently during the up phases and infrequently (if at all) during down phases.

What the specific patter of up/down phases is remains to be seen but from what I have observed there tends to be 2 rares in an up phase at any time - but the start of their up phases appeared to be staggered.

Based on this I'd suggest:

checking in at the top of the hour (my guess is that the up phases start on a hour boundary and they immediately spawn at the start of the up phase)
if you just miss a rare consider waiting to see if it respawns soon after.

Started to spawn at 41mins after the hour, then respawned every 5-7 mins after that.

Pretty nasty knockback down the hill if you aren't ready for it, and he will crowd you if you try to reposition with your back to the wall. For something to do while spawn camping, I was able to reach the water below so I could fish and still keep his spawn point on my mini-map--just in case.

After reading through this and other "emote" rares on Siren Isle, it looks like they spawn in rotating windows. Right now, for example (10:55pm EST), We keep seeing Snacker and Ikir as the Emote rares. Hopefully by midnight it'll rotate again (or 11pm with daylight savings, 5 minutes!) and we'll get Gunnlod and another. Will edit/report back on which ones are shared.

Hour just came up, and now Ghostmaker and Gunnlod are the emote rares. Maybe we can correlate patterns and pairs.
