There's a Sundered flame patrol walking around 45.9, 59.1 with 3 of these mobs.

They dropped both the manuscripts for me (Highland Drake Ears and Cliffside Wylderdrake Swept Horns). This was my first time killing them.

Did not kill the elites that are with them.

If you want these two appearances they are really easy to get!

First come to 46.4, 56.26 and see if the mobs are up, if they are not and there are three elites named "Sundered Flame Cleaver" you need to kill them, then you wait about 10 minutes the whole mob pack will respawn.

I suggest killing and looting them separately so that you don't get all three of the same one, and have to kill them all and wait again.

I was 100% expecting this to not work and the other comments just being the usual "dropped for me on the first kill" BS you see all the time in wowhead comments but I actually got the manuscript I was missing on the first kill. The mobs showed up right away after Researchers Under Fire ended.

If you're like me and play a rogue that doesn't have the best gear; I got it upon killing the second Fighter that patrols the area. Sap one of the elites, blind the other one, despite being stunned the Dracthyr elite will keep walking, wait till he gets out of aggro range. Afterwards burn down one of the fighters without using any of your AoE, the other fighter will need to be stun locked with max kidney shot. Reset using vanish and repeat the process to down the other Tarasek, make sure to have a second source of healing aside from crimson vial.
