Maw of the Maw
Mort'regar, Torghast - Tower of the Damned
Layer 1 - Floor 6
Maw of the maw devours
Was the last boss of the 2nd layer 6th floor for me. Had no deaths up until this guy as a frost mage. Even though I could kite/root him forever, his Obleron Devour eventually insta-kills you so it doesn't matter.
This thing hits like a truck. Cruised through layer 2 solo (outlaw 167) until this.
Very difficult. Outlaw rogue and elemental shaman. 50k hp each. Two man layer 3. Rogue with 30% dmg pot. Pop all cds. Beat him just barely. Sham died and I had 15% hp. Make sure your rotations are on point. Very little room for error. 2 man he’s got 896k health... yeah.
Boss hits between 5k and 7k uninterruptable damage with an interruptable 75% slow. Unless you get the run of a lifetime, this boss appears to be nigh impossible to kill. You need to burn through ~347k health on layer 3 before he manages to hit you 4 or 5 times with his devour, which is not possible unless you've got the anima powers to back it up.
I assume his damage will be fixed, but at this point recommend resetting if you get him.
Soloed as an Unholy Death Knight, ilvl 172. It is just an
This is how I killed it: I used Fleshcraft, then waited to pull until Fleshcraft had 30s left on CD. Used Army of the Dead, pulled and popped every DPS CD. Then I gradatively used defensive CDs: first Sacrificial Pact when I was at ~50% health, followed by another Fleshcraft. When the absorption shield from Fleshcraft ended, I popped Icebound Fortitude and Lichborne (and used Death Coils to heal when necessary). When my health got to ~30%, I used Death Pact and Asphyxiate. Killed it shortly thereafter.
I got a bit unlucky with anima powers, with a lot of powers totally useless for the boss fight.
My talent build was a normal AoE dungeon build (Infected Claws, Bursting Sores, Asphyxiate, Pestilent Pustules, Death Pact, Unholy Pact, Unholy Assault), and going with a single target build obviously would make the fight a lot easier.
this is either stupid hard or there is some trick to beat him like going in naked no gear on. would have to remove in that bubble.
First try, baby! Ret pala life.
Killed Solo as 171 Sub Rogue today on level 3 Mort'regar.
Hard fight, after trying to interrupt and having to vanish a few times to reset cooldowns, the successful tactic was simple ignore his spells and nuke him down ASAP which worked.
Dropped Deathly Shadows Memory
Absolutley insane hard,173 ilvl DH layer 2 everything else was so easy than this thing comes, can't interupt the spell, hits like truck in melle, has 325k hp,can't touch it whoever made this was not ok in head, how should u do this?It even hits you with a spell when u run away lmao.
killed him with my shadow priest today would say its dps check ilvl 177, was going pure dmg just self shield and at the end a bit of heal was doing over all 4.3k DMG and was able to kill him not moving no interupting just 2 times fear.
Was able to take him down as a ilvl 171 Ret Paladin without much trouble (no bubble, LOH etc.)
I believe the Anima Power that got me through was "Defiance of Death"
Which made me unable to lose more than 25% of my HP in any single attack.
He dropped a class Legendary for me "Memory of the Endless Kings"
as well as a pet, the "Torghast Lurker"
I submitted a screenshot of my Anima Powers if it helps anyone!
we joined as a party (rdruid-blood dk-sub rogue-ww monk) and this thing destroied us :)
The mechanics of this fight is that each time boss casts devour armor he gains a stack that increases his damage done. At 10 stacks boss becomes immune to crowd control effects. So you want to stun the boss at 5 ish stacks in order to make the buff run out/reset. Killed it in a 5man group today using this method. And have someone interrupt Gunk. Was still messy with 170 group but it died 2nd try. Boss can be feared and stunned.
Well, this one is more dependant on anima powers you got along the way than any other boss I encountered so far. I got him on layer 3, 6th floor.
Managed to clear it as Fury warrior 171. Will spare the details but it took a lot of damage increases buff and enraged regeneration that lasted 35 sec was essential for this one. I usually pick more offensive anima powers than defensive/survival (like 75% offensive and one OP survival power), with always thinking single target damage (since trash mobs aren't really challenging, for now).
But anyway, luck plays an important part.
#$%^ this blob.
ilvl 156 resto druid, the Maw of the Maw is the first boss I've died to. 5 times in all I think. Got him to about 5% once. Guess I need better gear and luckier anima powers. (Or more skill)
!@#$ this boss for wasting an hour of my time.
I managed to solo this as a ilvl 146 frost mage.
My armaments weren't amazing as a whole, but I did have maw rat explosion (Bloating Fodder, Common ability) x2. and the one that spawns maw rats when casting conjure refreshments (Alluring Cheese, Uncommon armament ability)
Both of these were purchased from the vendor, and they seem to show up fairly regularly. Most of my other armaments aren't amazing. I had double hp thanks to Secret Spices, and My mirror images were impowered, but I never got below half hp and my mirror images did very little dmg.
As for the fight. I casted Conjure refreshments in the same spot until they started despawning (about 10 casts of it) Then I started the fight, I put up barrier, casted 2 frost bolts and an icelance before the boss got close just to clear my icicles (so they wouldn't cleave to the mawrats yet). Then cast 4 frostbolts and stopped casting. I'd ignore brainfreeze proc too, until the boss got into range of ALL mawrats, then I'd really start the fight. (Note: I had to stop casting for a while because he moves slow and stops to cast early on, It's possible you could cast another conjure refreshments while you wait..)
My opener at this point was Icy veins, alter time, bloodlust, venthir ability, and then I'd start my rotation. My icicles and/or shatter combo would burst the mawrats and then I'd be able to start truly dpsing. I stood still until my alter time procced which would heal me for whatever damage he did to me while i stood still and bursted. Then I'd nova blink away.
I would kite until he put gunk on me again, and then barrier again, rune of power, and cast until he was close enough to melee me, then mirror image, which would give me a few more seconds of uninterrupted dps. (note: he will mostly ignore mirror images after the first few seconds, so be ready to blink again after a frostbolt or a shatter combo.)
I was able to keep this up until he died. My mawrat explosion from the beginning did 40% of his health pool, so that helped, but I'm pretty sure I could have done at least another 20% before I died.
Hope that helps.
This boss is a disgrace. Literally impossible to kill solo, I can't see how anyone would kill it without insane DPS so it doesn't kill you before it's stacking damage becomes crazy. Really dumb how you can't interrupt.
ilvl 169 Ardenweald Fury Warrior
I read the comments about this boss and was getting really freaked out, so I did as someone else mentioned and stocked up on smoke bombs and bought some last minute increases to my armor. I don't remember exactly how my anima powers were balanced but I had about 40% extra heath from mawrats, a buffed Slam (which I forgot to use), 40% increased damage to enemies affected by my shouts, and 40% increased damage for Rampage and Ancient Aftershock. There were a few other things weighing my DPS/Defense but those are the major ones I had.
I'm happy to say as someone who's failed to clear any level 3 bosses, this one was ez pz. I don't know if I got the right combo of powers or if the smoke bombs were the trick, but I kept them up the entire time and tried to interrupt Gunk as much as I could while maintaining shouts and nuking him. I never felt the big HP drain mentioned in other comments so didn't have to pop Enraged Regeneration at all nor did I end up using any heath potions.
Soooo I'm not sure if you can get much from this other than a general idea of how I selected powers, which doesn't help much since we have no way of knowing who the boss will be, but
the tl;dr is that I used smoke bombs for the entire fight, interrupted Gunk (though pretty poorly), and that's about it.
Idk if he got nerfed at all or if the stars aligned, so I guess just rest assured that Maw of the Maw isn't always a death trap.
First boss I've died to in Torghast. Got him on the 2nd attempt as a 161BM Hunter, but it was a straight DPS race. Stuns help a lot, but you have to time it just right. Also worth grabbing health pots from the vendor to help keep you up.
I drew this boss on a level one instance so not sure if he was less powerful. He still had 248K HP. I am a ilvl 154 marksmanship hunter. I had bought a health pot from the vendor who was right before the boss. (these apparently are on a separate cd then the phials you get from your steward.). By keeping my pet healed, using my exhilaration self heal, the vendor health pot and one of the steward phials I was able to beat him with about half my health left. Interrupt did not work on his remove armor spell.
Ran this as a Spriest today, and I couldn't chain my CC together long enough to get his stacks to fall off. Ultimately I was able to get him by standing in place and dps'ing as HARD AS POSSIBLE. Of course the occasional heal was necessary, but I didn't waste globals on kiting or CC. It's really a race against time so this was the strategy that worked for me.
I solo'ed him. Fury Warrior.
I was having a ton of issues at first but realized I could interrupt him w/ Condemn and the knock down buff. Once I realized that I waited to spam condemn and used Intimidating Shout when I had too many stacks so it would reset. Once I started timing the interrupts, he was pretty easy.
BM Hunter, 174 ilvl. Encountered it on level 2. Wiped me repeatedly on a solo run. Finally able to accomplish it with a Flask of the Currents and Primal Rage.
Layer 2, on my 150 BrM Monk, this guy was the first creature to give me any trouble, though, I didn't know the mechanic for him, and just zerked through it.
100% impossible as fury warrior with 15 anima buffs at 170 ilvl.
Last boss of level 3 as 163 Blood DK with Venthyr. Opted for the extra 30 sec dmg buff with door of shadow anima power. Most anima powers selected were offensive. Killed him fairly easily. I cleared the whole dungeon to get every buff i could.
Was really easy as Destruction lock, fear, mortal coil, infernal and voidwalker pet buffed to the max. dont forget curse of tongues, was doing around 4.8k damage and health didnt drop below 90%. Ilvl 169
Just solo'ed as a 152 Arcane Mage on Level 2
Had Mawrat HP buff at 37 stacks, so went into with 44k HP.
Like all fights, I make sure the anima powers I pick are geared towards the final fight if possible. Went into the fight with food Iridescent Raviolo with Apple Sauce) & flask (Spectral Flask of Power) buffs. Pop Prismatic Barrier before fight and let the cooldown timer be your count down clock and use Presence of Mind before pull. Drop Rune of Power (if u choose talent), Time Wrap, Touch of the Magi, Potion of Spectral Intellect, Arcane Power, Mirror Image, and nuke to he*l. Make sure to interrupt Gunk (I use a macro to stop casting so it's fires ASAP), you'll be able to do every other Gunk cast. Once your final image is about to fall I pop Prismatic Barrier and Alter Time. Once Alter Time was done I Blink away, Evocation (I have Slipstream Talent) while moving, applied another Touch of the Magi, 4 Arcane Blast, and Arcane Barrage. Waited for boss to get close and blinked pass. Burned Arcane Blast until I dropped the boss.
So it's possible for the class :) Very much a put your head down and focus fight after grinding for a hour to get to the end.
I just killed it on my 5th attempt. I just gave it everything I had from the get go. I was not able to purchase the smokebomb as I read this too late. I wasnt going to let this £$%^&* obliterate the hour I spent to get to him. I did 2.5k dps and literally was on my last 10% of health when I killed him. I feared him twice and interrupted once. Just pop all you cd's and nuke the bastard
Managed to bring this guy down on a 171 Sub rogue, even without too many good anima powers. I had the secret spice that doubled my health, and two of the powers that reduced Crimson Vial's cooldown by 10 seconds each. The other replies are pretty accurate, though, I doubt I would have one if I hadn't had so many stuns and disorients. If you don't mind getting hit in melee, gunk isn't too much of a threat, especially if you have some sort of healing, but even if you can survive his melee, the boss's stacking buff basically turns the fight into a DPS check.
Ilvl 171 ele sham.
I read about the boss here first and had doubts when i met him on l layer 3. I didnt have any smoke bombs which i read about on this page. However i got him down on first try probably because of my anima powers. I had 25, including frost shock (instant spell) reduce enemy damage by 20% for 10 seconds. I also got another anima power for the first time, something along the lines of frost damage have a random chance to remove 20% hp of the enemy. This happened 2 times pretty early in the fight, after that i spammed frost shock an hoped it will happen again and it did. Thats 60% of the boss hp gone instantly and i got him down. Other than that, i popped hero and ele/earth elementals in the beginning. Boss died before my earth elemental was gone.
Guess i was lucky
Ilvl176 Fury warrior no legendary during fight but I was able to beat it barely on layer 3 here is a video of my fight the videos name is Maw Of The Maw - Layer 3 Solo Fury Warrior
Sense your unable to interrupt it's cast of Devour Obleron Armaments by normal means like my pummel you have to use things like Intimidating Shout, Agent of chaos ( Venthyr soulbind ability), Pridebreaker's Anvil (anima power) CC appears to work fine on it I didn't use any stuns during my fight but I assume they work to of Pridebreaker's Anvil worked because it knocks down the enemy and if you happen to get Ragemote on the broker then that's perfect.
If asked I can list exactly what all I got for my run but if you search the video you should be able to figure out what I had.
Soloed today as Disc Priest, ilvl 172. The trick is to buy smoke bombs off the vendor, you can negate almost all attacks from the boss that way. It's just a matter of burning him down after that (well, "burn" considering I played a healer). Took me two bombs to beat him after I couldn't keep up with his damage by way of atonement healing. The bombs are 35 phantasm a pop, so save up for them (the vendor had three in stock, meaning you could take one and a half minutes to beat the boss considering they last for 30 sec each).
152 BM hunter -- managed to one shot him on Level 3 after reading the posts here. Basically, its pretty straight forward DPS race with a ferocity pet (used the lust pet). Interrupt at the 4th or 5th devour. Also was lucky to have some anima powers that absolutely helped (the turtle one). Hits like a Mack truck.
I finally managed to defeat it at layer 3 as a 170 iLevel Fury Warrior; it really depends on the powers you find on the way. It may appear I'm lying if I say I kill it on the first attempt but it proved to be a challenged. If you want to solo it as a warrior, try finding this powers:
: Reduces the cooldown of
by 80% making it a 8 second cooldown.
now has a 50% chance to proc
instead of 20%, this can be stacked, making it really insanely useful, the downside to it is that it may cost some rage and the higher the rage the higher the absorb shield you get, so be strategic with it, but still it can make you immortal on this fight
absorbs equals to 10% of your health, also can be stacked, not a top priority but you can go with 1 and you are good.
: this one is a new torghast ability, that allows you to get the
proc every 20 seconds anytime, which means 20% healing every 20 seconds.
This torghast powers where key to defeat this monstrosity, keep in mind you can only stun it to stop casting the
, this spell wont stop you from healing at all, so if you can't stun it activate your
and keep healing with
can be proc ass well, if it doesnt proc the shield will keep you out of danger, while
is finishing cooldown. Plus the new power to heal 20% every 20 seconds comes in handy a lot since the fight is a little long.
Good Luck out there
It seems that the smoke creates the critical element to besting these end bosses. 147 feral druid with all my tools and assorted damage bonuses did the job. I took fae covenant.
Just did this as a pretty overgeared 185 Fury Warrior. But it was quite tough.
No matter what I did in the two runs I made, I could not get the stacks to reset. So it was solely a DPS race for me. Managed to pull 3.9K DPS for the entire fight, which I think is quite good.
Interrupt Gunk whenever you can. Stun with Storm Bolt and fear with Intimidating Shout whenever he casts the Devour Obleron Armaments spell.
I had pretty good anima powers, but mainly focused on Whirlwind damage + heal, which didn't help one single bit on this boss.
Interrupt, stun, fear, faceroll. Got him on second try by simply standing still the entire fight. No potions, no smoke screen, just focus on DPS and interrupts.
Downed layer 3 version with ilvl 158 hunter. I didn't have any crazy powerful Anima Powers, though I did have some that boosted my health to almost 50,000 and my pet's to about 35,000 (Spices!). I do have the Rylakstalker's Treads (
Memory of the Rylakstalker's Fangs
) equipped tho.
I had to Exhilaration (heal) once and use one health pot. The layer 3 version doesn't split/divide like the lower layer versions, it kept saying it was devouring my Obleron Armaments, but didn't know what that meant. Was I losing powers/capability during the fight? I was honestly too busy to see what exactly was going on.
As of week 2 this boss is unkillable by many specs without some extreme luck with anima powers, although certain consumables can make it doable. Coming in with around 350k health (solo) his damage ramps up fast whilst reducing yours at the same time.
This boss is also bugged. A couple I have observed:
Devour Obleron Armaments cast can be hard CC'd avoiding the damage, however he continues to gain stacks and renew his buff even while stunned or disoriented.
Devour Obleron Armaments also ignores many things that would allow for kiting such as the rogue permanent smoke bomb anima power and his 75% slow Gunk aoe has a 60yd range and 3 sec cd.
This makes this boss a no skill/tactics DPS race. Estimated 6-10k sustained dps required for the kill or crazy self-healing.
Recommend abandoning run at floor 3 if you see this guy, unless you have some way to cheese the fight.
Very overtuned and bad design.
On the plus side: Feign Death will reset his stacks if you stay dead long enough.
On the minus side: Even as a Draenei Hunter with a racial self-heal, Exhilaration and healing potions, that was not enough to keep me alive through his constant damage.
, 150-ish gear. Got 11 stacks of secret spices (from killing Maw Rats), thus 22% more health. Also, 27 soul remnants (str/agi/int +27%). Otherwise nothing really spectacular. Tank + spank: didn't really move a lot (why, was 75% slower anyhow, as I didn't kick the glob). Popped Berserk at start, nuked him down, did a Iron Fur + Frenzied Regen once. This was Floor 6 in Layer 3. Good luck!
Solo'd him as an ilvl 132 prot Paladin.
My paladin hit 60 today, I immediately went into Torghast to get the soul ash before reset. This was my layer 3 boss. He had 250k hp. I had no real DPS talents. I didn't have the CC to make his stacks wear off, but I stunned the devours I could to buy more time, interrupted the other, and put everything I had into damage, healing when necessary (usually my free word of glory). Near the end of the fight I was using my damage reduction cooldowns, and it got close, but he went down.
Some things I learned: You can't outrange the devour armor, or line of sight it. Even if you have divine shield up, he still gains stacks. So just stay alive, use whatever CC you do have to buy time, and just punch him as hard as you can.
Everyone is saying "I did this today", but no one saying how they did it. So I am sharing my start and understanding here:
1) It's a DPS race, Again It's a DPS race
2) Only Gunk is interruptable so try to interrupt it
3) You need to have plenty of Hard CC, Stuns, Fear, Death Grip, Knockback.
4) Try to stack your HP when you see this boss on layer 3, or if you get a chance grab the healing orb anima power. It helps, really helps.
5) This fight is pretty much straight forward, typical tank-spank so don't waste your time by running away from it. Because you can't out range the boss.
6) Healing pots are blessings for this fight.
7) As a DPS race patchwork fight, this boss requires some gears. You can't expect to kill it with low gears. Unless you got some serious anima powers (looking at mages)
8) If you have healing spell then don't hesitate to use them after the boss hits you with armament. But prioritizing your total HP gain (through mawrat or phylacteries will help you at the long run
To make this fight much easier, do not take any Obleron Armaments as an anima power upgrade throughout the tower. Anytime you come across an anima power, select anything that isn't called "Obleron...". He devours them and reduces your combat ability.
Avoid all obleron anima powers until Floor 3 when you can see a preview of the boss. If it looks to be Maw of the Maw, continue avoiding Obleron. If it is not Maw of the Maw, you can start getting Obleron upgrades now if you so choose to.
Succeeded today on layer 8 with a 186 ilvl BM hunter, but it was extremely close.
Started with ~30K health and took ~87K damage during the entire fight but saved defensives for halfway through
My DPS during the fight was ~6K and I just barely made it. Probably got lucky with procs too.
Here's how it went:
Had Flask of the Currents and +30 Agi food.
Had anima powers for reducing target cast time and occasionally interrupting targets within 15/20 yards.
Had the anima power for allowing you to do damage with
Popped all DPS cooldowns at the start: Bestial Wrath, Wild Spirits, Aspect of the Wild, Hunter's Mark (Anima Power), Tar Trap with flare (Anima Power), and Primal Fury.
Boss was close to 70% by the time I was into my normal rotation.
Kept DPS'ing until 4 stacks of the Obleron Armor buff.
at this point so I could stay alive for the rest of the fight.
Interrupted the next cast of
on the next cast.
By this point I was in execute range, so kept DPS'ing and using Kill Shot
and healing pots and finally killed it
I would not have survived even one more cast of
Can be soloed with 173 BM hunter but damn is it hard!
I solo'd this today at Layer 6.
I was all in... a DPS race. And I have lots of health buffs. There's an anima power that pops out Healing Orbs at the beginning of the fight. I used all of them. I had health pots and the vendor health pots. Also Anima power that reduces cd of Exhilaration Helps. My only interrupt as MM Hunter is Freezing Trap. I was all in to reduce his HP to 20%. Then when he reaches that HP, I had an anima power that makes my Killshot have 25% chance to kill enemy at 20% hp left. Well, my first Killshot killed him. LOL. /Dance.
This boss is super buggy, I did this on my survival hunter, ilev 172, layer 7. I had only one oberlon anima power and i still died to it eating this one power over and over. Second pull it just stopped doing anything and became a target dummy at about 50% health. Which this and a previous run where i got the minute and a half bubble right before the boss are the only ways I have killed this on this character. Also for me atleast the smoke bomb method just didn't work still hit me through smoke bomb with the ability.
I was scared when I saw the hologram, I thought this was the boss that splits into small slimes and I invested in AOE powers. Came here when I got to floor 6 to my dismay. 174 enh, popped earth ele and went to town. Even with the health powers getting sucked away after the ele dropped I didn't really have problems. Heavy mitigation as well, it was doing at least 30% less damage through powers. I can see how it can give problems and I feel marginally lucky. Layer 5.
Solo'd this as markman hunter, layer 3
Think i got lucky as chose the mawrat health buff plus a couple of the 15% buffs early on, had 62k health when i got to this mob.
Had 30 anima powers when i got here.
Ilvl 166, no legendaries
Started with hunters mark for the 15% damage buff, bought fleeting frenzy potion but forgot to use it once fight started as that would have given another 30%.
misdirect as that was giving me a 50% damage buff
Had a ferocity pet for tanking, pet had 43k health
Trueshot and primal rage at the start and just blasted away
Did not interrupt anything, he got off about 3 casts of the devour i think
Damage was about 6.6k dps, fight lasted about 47 seconds according to my dps meter.
A lot easier than i was expecting based on some of the comments here.
Was fairly easy to do this level 8 as a duo prot pal and disc priest. Between us we did about 7k dps and he dropped our powers from 37 to 31/32 each, end of the fight was much slower as a result. Can see this would be very tough solo!
On my unholy DK on Level 7 (Item Level: 181, Legendary 3/4), I had to heal about 257K in order to survive (with approx. 5K DPS).
I didn't have that much luck with the animas but tried to go for heal and HP max.
It was very very close. I tried to interrupt as many Gunk casts as possible. By far the hardest of all bosses which I've seen.
I look these bosses up before the fight just to not waste time clearing Torghast then dying, if possible. It really helps when people post the level of the boss, because what seems impossible on level 6 is sometimes just difficult - or really trivial - at low levels. So take what you read with a grain of salt if someone says it's impossible and you're at low level, or if they say it's easy and you're at higher level.
At any rate, Ilvl 172 havoc DH tonight in level 3, I read this page before the fight and it sounded pretty bad. But it went down pretty easily. I had 24 anima powers, some that decent, none remarkable, and this blob just burned down doing a normal dps rotation and a couple interrupts. I did have an anima power to not take damage during eye beam and a power for a chance for the eyebeam cooldown to reset that may have helped a little, but don't think I used my health potion. I died at this level pulling too large a pack of normal mobs, forget if there was an elite or 2 mixed in, and an elite horsie knocking me off the edge of the world (killed it but couldn't get back up after we fought just off the edge of a platform), but at this level with this class, this may have been my easiest boss fight so far.
Edit: Similar experience a month later with a balance druid alt, ilvl 184, doing the Anduin quest in level 1 of Twisting Corridors, floor 12. Got in an interrupt or two, avoided standing in the bad, but this boss went down very easily with some decent anima powers. Not sure how the 12th floor of level 1 compares to the 6th floor of other wings, but difficulty really ramps up as you climb farther. Trash mobs and a rare on the 16th floor are what killed me, though, not this boss. Oh, and the same elite horse knocking me off the edge of the world - I've learned my lesson about positioning on that one.
As arms warrior i did this with &*!@ty dps - all useless anima perks. But there is a way: Spell Reflection!.
This combined with storm bolt and it's doable. Took me 5 attempts and i had to change talents with my kyrian slave (Summon Steward) to change the talents for this fight but I got it!
Seeing this slime means its most likely a failed run. I just wasted 1.5 hours. Floor 18. Insta kill.
Tip for this boss which I found extremely helpful after getting him as the Floor 18 boss on Twisting Corridors:
You can line of sight (LOS) his cast of Devour Obleron Armaments and it won't hit you or take your anima powers away. I was able to do this as a BM hunter which allowed me to LOS him using stairs while my pet tanked him above, but he doesn't move during his cast so I imagine it is possible to LOS as a non-pet class if you are fast enough.
Layer 18 of the Anduin quest.
This was brutal. I've never died in Torghast before (other than falling off the chains) and this guy wrecked me.
Ret pally, 197 ilvl with 100 anima powers and 135k hp. Died twice, finally killed him on the last attempt. LoH, bubble, stuns, everything I had and barely survived.
ilvl 200 Spriest, with powers I can do 38k constant DPS, boss had 4 million HP. I spent 2 hours getting to layer 18 with 0 deaths, then I happen to get him as the final boss and get 3 shot with 180k hp. It is a physically impossible boss for some classes, and that was just layer 1 of new torghast. My class doesn't have enough interrupts and stuns to even get close to killing him. Imagine what something like layer 8 would be like. If I can't even do layer 1 how am I supposed to progress. Stupid boss pls delete.
18 floor, 210 vdh with two cheat deaths, 50k dps on single target with immolation aura build and 140khp inside metamorphosis got literally three shotted. Tried LOSing the boss behind some walls, my best try was 30%. It's actually sad that you can spend 1 hour or even more in order to just face an unkillable wall at the end.
At layer 1 of Twisting Corridors this boss has slow melee hits that each hit for 24k dmg on Plate. His cast Gunk does 18k Shadow dmg. His Cast Devour Obleron armaments does 39k Shadow dmg. He had 3,3 mill hp.
His Devour Obleron Armaments seem to steal random anima powers from you. In two "hits" that landed on me I lost 7 out of my 88 anima powers, so not that bad. It is not interruptible so try let it cast its spell as long as possible before you stun etc, which does work.
With my 100k DPS and good self healing this boss was a decently easy fight as a 203 ilvl Frost DK. The longer the fight goes on the more disadvantageous to you as you lose more anima powers.
Floor 18 TC layer 1|
BM hunter 190 ilvl. the boss have 3.36M hp
all the run was nice until this guy. Unavoidable damage hits hard and at 4 stacks he deletes half of then pet's health. at 5 stacks, if your misdirection damage mitigation is down it hits for 95percent of pet's health. Right now I have 124k hp and pet 87k... can't see how to beat this guy since he will one shot your pet most of the time.
This boss should NOT be able to 1 shot you when you when you have the health and shields, etc.! This boss is the worst I have ever seen in this game! Blizzard fix this please. Give us fighting chance at least.
Created a wowhead account after 10+ years of using the site just to !@#$% about how unacceptable this boss is... On my warlock, floor 12, with a pet that had just over 800,000 hp and my warlock had around 210,000.... I was doing insane DPS, I believe around 40k single target? This boss would almost 1-shot me right from the start and after maybe 10 seconds, he would 1-shot me.
You cannot out-damage or DPS race this encounter, it's a plain and simple failed run unless maybe you're playing a specific tank class that can survive the hits and self-heal fast enough between them....
Probably the easiest boss in Torghast. Get yourself defensive animas though, especially as meele cuz he hits like a truck.
This boss on layer 6, floor 18 in the Twisting Corridors wasn't fun. I got him merely down in the third try because I had much luck with the stun procs from an Anima Power.
Killed it with my 189iLvL Havoc DH. I stacked Anima Powers that boost my Eye Beam. Anima Powers worth mentioning:
(+ the same bonus from my Legendary belt for a total of 40% chance)
It had ~540K HP and I had 37K HP with mentioned Anima Powers. I literally disregarded everything the Maw of the Maw does. I stunned when I had the stuns, I interrupted
when my Disrupt wasn't on cooldown. I popped defensive spells when I was out of stuns, using
first to see how much damage is there to block. I basically didn't even need the
, but I popped it when Blur expired. I guess I was blessed with fitting Anima Powers.
couldnt kill it on layer 7 floor 18, hitting for 100k on my 208 havoc dh with the right anima powers (80% immune eye beam, blade dance dodge, hp buffs) + deffensive powers as the moment eye beam goes on cd you pretty much just die
frustrating to say the least to be able to breeze through all the floors then getting clapped so badly but i guess with ilvl it will get easier
We just spent 2.5 hours on Twisting Corridors... and got this boss on Floor 18 of Layer 2. Basically impossible without a healer.
Especially since Anima abilities start from Floor 1 - you have no idea whether to avoid Obleron anima powers or not.
Fix this $%^&, Blizzard. I want my time back. We facerolled it until this boss!
Got this boss on floor 7, layer 18. 12.8 mil health and over 100k auto attacks hits. 199 ivl Prot Pally doing 65k dps and could only get him a little less than half way. Absolute waste of 2 hours to get to a boss that no matter what I have power wise or how well I play my class, is impossible to beat.
Layer 2 Twisting Corridors, managed to choose well on anima powers, blasting along until about floor 11 where there was a 'teleport between multiple platforms whilst killing mawrats' floor.....the teleport seemed to break the Pact of Infernal Intimacy boost.....demon had been over 400k HP and equally boosted damage. Ho hum....also happened again on floor 14 (no deaths, just teleporting). That bug I can *almost* live with.
THEN I reach floor 18. No deaths so far, feeling like I made the right anima power choices in my 2.5hr run.....and I meet Maw of the Maws. As a Warlock (ilvl190) I had zero chance. Multiple very fast deaths, no chance to use my demon to tank - undodgeable damage right in my face. Torghast I hate you.
The only way you can solo this as a hunter in floor 18 L5+ twisting corridors is if you have the Deadeye satchel epic ability(25% chance to kill) and pray it procs.
Take as many damage multipliers as you want, it will not matter, if there's an opening where you have no interupt/trap/stun/turtle up this boss will find it and kill you. I had 100% crit and 100% damage from pet stun, 75% from wild spirits, 75% from skoldus traps, 100% from misdirect, 100% kill command damage, with the killer cobra/instinct(anima power) talents, 95% slow tar trap, interrupted every Gunk cast and barely managed to get it to 20% so I could proc an instant kill. 5.5mil hp. 4.52m damage done in 1min.
If you don't have anywhere near this just save yourself some time and leave when you see it at the vendor on floor 15.
Got this as final boss of layer 8 of Twisting Corridors, Literally impossible to do. How im supposed to avoid obleron powers? I need the health... plus the devour ability just one shots you, i had 150k hp...
Soloed it layer 1 floor 18 of TC. Got tons of stuns anima, life, and dps. To be able to solo it had to put up 41.3k dps with tons of immune bubble, etc with retribution paladin. Hard as hell.
I am standing here on Floor 18 on the highest difficulty (8) as a Sub rogue, I have spent 3 h to come to the endboss. I have 110 Animaboni (best I could have) and I have absolutelly no chance. I already lost 5 lifes on this boss. Blinding bombs do not help. He sucks my animaboni down to 60 before I die. Even if I stun him, he casts the spell again, when he comes out. On this difficulty the boss have 12 Mio HP and my hardest Crit I can do is 500 k. My damage decreases rapidly with the fight time. My longest fight was 5 min, before he starts to one shot me with 300k hits, because he has 13 stacks. :/
Ain't that a face you wanna see on the 18th floor of Twisted Corridors? CAUSE THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!
As of 01/09/21 (the day after this mob got nerfed) I got it as the last boss of layer 6 corridors and COULD NOT KILL IT. I had 5 deaths plus 3 extra deaths and the farthest I managed to get it down was about 40% (with the 1 time 30% damage potion). I am a 212 WW and went in there with 210k hp. This mob was meleeing me for about 67k and devour obleron was causing it to absolutely destroy me. If you can't kill this guy (had about 5.6M hp on layer 6) in 1 minute, then you fail. Simple as that. Its damage is going to overwhelm you.
Just to give you idea, I repeated layer and got the G'huunie as final boss 2nd time and easily killed him (died once to test out his mechanics and then went in there with 30% pot and destroyed him). He does much less damage.
Doing this solo as an Assassination Rogue ilvl183, killed him in about 20 seconds.... He can take away your Obleron Powers so pretty sure the Obleron Powers theory is 100% right.... Avoid selecting the Obleron Anima Powers other than the times you can only select 1 Anima Power... I used no potions, no extras.... Stunned as I could, never got below 80% health, literally got him in about 15-20 sec if that (should've timed it.) Hope this helps, Good Luck!
Got him today again, finished this Blob many times on lower layers but today...
Maw of the Maw
Twisted Corridors, Torghast - Tower of the Damned
Layer 8 - Floor 18
18,5 Mio HP
No chance to get this Blob down...
Got through 17 floors without a single death - until I met this *!@#er. Couldn't get past it, and failed the dungeon.
Even stunning it at 5 stacks wasn't enough thanks to the ridiculous long cooldown on hunter stun.
2 hours of my life I'll never get back...
I had him today as solo ilvl 198 frost mage on Twisted Corridors Layer 8 Floor 18.
9.2 million hp. His
is interruptable (tried with
) but he still gains stacks (don't know if it's also damaging then). He shouldn't even be able to cast it on me since I had
So 3 hours of my time wasted because of that buggy boss and no mount for me today. GG
Wasn't able to kill him as a 185ilvl Elemental Shaman because:
His Devour Obleron ability wasn't interruptible, so my Wind Shear cooldown buffs were useless
Earth Elemental buffs were useless because the spell is cast across the entire room
It's impossible to skip taking all of the Obleron powers because you're not able to pick up other Anima powers while you have one pending
Ele Shams don't have any stuns outside of a long CD Capacitator Totem
This is beyond frustrating. I can steamroll every single floor up to this point, but then get absolutely blasted by this dude because there's no beneficial Anima powers to take this dude down that don't involve Obleron powers.
What an absolute waste of time. I wish I could see the boss lineup on the first floor so I could just skip it entirely if I see Maw of the Maw.
I had him solo today ilvl 192 Arms Warrior Venthyr Twisting Corridors: Layer 2 Floor 18 did 90.9k DPS. The main Anima to get are PrideBreaker's Anvil (Codemn Knocks Down Target for 0.5 Sec), Voracious Culling Blade (Condemn's damage is increased by 100%. Casting Condemn 30 times allows you to use it at any time, regardless of the target's health.), Writhing Noose (Codemn's damage done and damage prevented increased by 100%). I was able to get Rage Mote (Your abilities cost no Rage for 1.5 min after choosing this power.) from the Broker at the end. Popped all cool downs and just spam Condemn. The boss was stunned the whole time and I took no damage.
Prot pally 193 (more like ret pally with shield and pelagos tank tree) had this sob last boss floor 18 layer 2. Used hard interrupts only for obleron steal spell. Had toll with interrupt and toll every wings. So just used everything else in-between plus some bubbles when available. Obleron? HoJ. Obleron? divine toll. Obleron? pop wings. Only thing one can adjust is take fist of justice ( I had the anima cause I usually use blinding light) and righteous protector ( to have wings faster) . Had like 2.69 mil hp or something (my dps was like low 7k). It's doable now that has been nerfed at least for this class and spec. Good luck.
Check the hologram at the vendor to see the final boss. When you see this one,
give up and save yourself the time and trouble.
Not a boss you want to face on layer 8 floor 18 of twisting corridors.
Barely managed to burn him down. Just kicked Gunk whenever possible and ignored the rest.
210 prot paladin. Was floor 1 level 18, first time I've seen this boss and i had a lot of obleron powers. What an absolute ****** this boss is. Couldne do enough damage to kill him, lowest wipe was 1%. No wipes until this boss. Horrible.
202 ilvl Vengeance Demon Hunter
Twisting Corridors Layer 1 - Floor 18
I died the first attempt with about 30% of the bosses life left, but killed it the second.
Best advice I can give you is you have to be really good at timing everything and clicking on your abilities as fast as possible. Don't wait for your big abilities like Metamorphosis. Use everything and then keep using them all as cool downs come up again. Your need to do as much dps as fast as possible before the boss is able to do more damage at one time than you can heal or reduce.
I took Torghast abilities that reduced the cooldowns of my sigils by 60% which put them at 36 seconds so I basically interrupted Gunk, would use Sigil of Misery, and Sigil of Silence to slow the boss down a bit. Sigil of Flame was down to 12 seconds, but had 250% increased damage. I had the cool down on Fiery Brand down 75% to 12 seconds so I hit that ability constantly due to the 40% damage reduction and used Demon Spikes in between casting that. I also used the Venthyr ability Sinful Brand with all my other combat abilities to slow the boss down even more.
Disrupt does not interrupt the bosses Devour Obleron Armaments ability.
I think the only reason I was able to really beat the boss was that I kept using every ability I had as they came up, but had the cool downs on some key abilities so low that I could cast them rapidly which slowed down the boss and reduced the damage I was taking. It was still a crazy fight with me frantically clicking on abilities as fast as I possibly could.
Feral 214 ilvl, twisting coridors layer 5, floor 18.
heal upon bear, speed in cat..
ton of +%HP
a lot of reduced CD on berserk on regrowth tick, reduced convoke CD
Pretty much just pop berserk + convoke, then kite around with regrowth ticking and switching to bear often for frenzied regen. repeat
Tried to kick the slow, but it's not really important as form switch clears it and switch to bear can heal over it.
Killed it after 3 berserks. Not really difficult, but there is only small room for error.
Ilvl 193 arms warrior. I smoked it 1st time. This is not the 1st boss that sucked anima powers from me, whacked them all. Not bragging, just saying that what you choose for anima power makes all the difference. Tried this Jan 22, didn't get anywhere near the final boss, and I had terrible choices for AP. Today was different.
As Aff Lock (ilvl 212) - Got this boss as Layer 4, Floor 18 end boss. (4.2M HP). Didn't get exceptional anima powers throughout the run, lost my super-tank Voidy in my first attempt.
Was down to my last life and came reading through comments for help. Saw a couple of mentions to LoS the two main abilities:
The room was not ideal, large floating circle platform (end of Mort-Regar), no where to hide. Except a couple of bulkheads on the bridge near the entrance and vendor.
So positioned the Voidy out on the bridge just in range in passive mode. Setup a gateway to run-back, and went and pulled the boss. Started by stunning with Shadowfury (anima powers making it a 12s stun) and applying Corruption then legged it back to the bulkhead. Boss came slowly down the bridge and once he as at the Voidy location, I set him to attack. Boss sat still nicely.
is fast at 1s cast, so watch for that and LoS immediately to avoid.
at 3s is a little easier to dodge. Otherwise dotted him up and healed the voidy to keep him in place.
Worked a treat.
I don't know if this would help melee classes - he doesn't appear to move as he's casting Devour (not sure on Gunk) but i wasn't paying full attention to that at the time. If he doesn't move and you can step out and back around quickly to avoid those abilities you might get some success.
After a 2hr 10min run, loosing 5 lives to this guy - lives count was at 0 - I was ready to just leave. Killing it with a little planning was very satisfying indeed.
Twisted Corridors Layer 8 Floor 18.. ilvl 203 pally tank solo with 103 powers and 5 lives left at boss... 3 hours in on my third attempt at this and this is the boss I get... I get him to 50% repeatedly and then get wrecked... pretty disappointing... nothin to do now but quit and go back in again I guess... 3 hours of my life I'll never get back... awesome...
Just killed this on Floor 12, layer 8 on my 6th attempt (I had purchased 4 extra lives from previous brokers). Had 63 anima powers, 206 ilvl as a Marksman hunter, including 18 obleron powers which I thought was going to make this impossible. Boss had 2.46mill health and took me 2min 18s to kill.
After the first 5 fails, trying to interrupt devour as much as possible, I focused on max damage (mostly), was able to interrupt a couple of his devour with freezing trap after my opener. I had 76k health and did 711k healing in that 2m 18s (3x bloodgorged leech and the 3x orbs that heal for 75%). The main difference in the last attempt was slightly better damage, and 24 second turtle to finish him. Previous highest damage was 15.9k dps, and managed 17.8k on the kill by focusing on the proper opener with soulsteel pinion and better sigil of skoldus uptime and not slowing damage to prep for the upcoming freeze trap interrupt of devour. I'm not sure if this is a bug, but when you interrupt it, he seemed like he casts it again right away. The notes say 10s cd on that ability, but it seemed to come faster than that if I interrupted it -- could have been my perception bc I was focused on other things.
My opener is (pre-combat): hunter's mark, misdirect, mend pet, Double Tab, Blood Lust, Trueshot (those are all longer CD's that I want to have rolling for Soulsteel Pinion which only lasts 6 seconds of 100% crit, 100% crit damage). Combat starts when I Binding shot, Arcane shot to activate Sousteel Pinion, into Wild Spirits, then into full Trueshot rotation maximizing the amount of aimed shots, never letting it sit on 2 charges of Aimed shot. Not saying this is 100% the best opener, but it's what I've settled on for now. Rapid fire is the priority filler when waiting for Aimed Shot to recharge, DON'T drain your focus with too many arcane shots so that you can't Aimed Shot when you need to. With the anima powers, Aimed shot was averaging 45.7k damage vs 9.7k for arcane shot, so maximizing your aimed shots in your Trueshot window is even more important than a non-torghast regular Trueshot window.
I really hate that blizzard yet again fails to explain these little details. I didn't even know it was a thing for any boss in Torghast to be amplified based on certain powers, so I literally just wasted two hours having the best run on the way up to this boss, which was my final layer 18 boss. I had 10 lives to spend on this boss too but sadly I had many obleron anima powers so I had about 90 seconds or less to do 4.4 million damage as a healer role, which i wasn't able to quite do. Close but no. I'm so disappointed. If I knew this was a thing surely I would have avoided these powers. No deaths on the way here and then no real chance. Never had this issue with any other boss and if I fought this boss before on a lower difficulty, I totally negated this effect without realizing it. Terrible design Blizzard. Fix it now, or make it more obvious.
Floor 18, brewmaster with powers to leg sweep/mass stun with 0s cd.
However, i think above 15+ floor mobs cannot be chained stunned any more.
and thus the spell cannot be all interrupted.
The boss casted devour like every 5 seconds.
Once x1 devour goes through it is 100k hp....
I think floor 6/12 is totally doable but 18 I just can't
Just soloed the big blob in Twisting corridors, floor 4 layer 18 as a 194 fire mage.
I was prepared to anything but this guy, I came here and after reading the above comments and with all the Obleron talents I had I was prepared to meet doom.... however I decided to give it a try since I had 9 lives and spent loads of time to get there, not to mention I bought flasks, smoke bombs and other useful stuff with my Phantasma.
I usually get to a Thorgast final boss with 10/12 or more copies of myself (Mirror image), and the insane damage they do made me think I had to find a way to let the copies hit without the maw hitting them, a quite difficult task since his aoe hits the whole platform. This time I just had 8, so I wasn't really sure they could dps enough before evaporating. Without empowered mirror images (they cast all sorts of spells, not only frostbolt) and the anima talent that gives you a mirror image for every shimmer, however, I'd have never made it.
As someone mentioned, the fight is a dps race. You have to time your spells surgically and HOPE it'll work. Other important things are an immense health pool (spices, barrier increase and the 4 orbs that fill you to 100% health when you touch them, and other useful stuff). Potion which gives you 30% more damage while you fight is also nice to have if vendors offer it. Unbreakable ring of frost and talent that roots mobs hit by Shifting Power (Night Fae covenant ability) are also a must. The boss has to be kept as much as possible in the same place when your clones are up.
Platform where I got him was the standard platform you might find in the Maw where you summon the Rares after killing the four mobs in the corner-shaped terraces (basically big, round and annoying), so not the best thing but enough room for a try.
Here's how I did it (as i said, Luck was on my side).
After I buffed up I popped my clones and immediately Timewarp, double-shimmered to the boss and started hitting it immediately. As soon as the clones are in range, they stop running and start casting. On the various failed attempts results varied from a miserable 10% damage to something better, on last try however they managed to vaporize 55% of his health. After they got hit by aoe and despawned I kept running, trying to keep it far from me, DPSing it and refreshing my barrier as soon as it was available.
Once clones were available again I froze the boss in place, double-shimmered to the stairs at the opposite side of the room and popped the clones again. After the second charge, he had only 7,4% health left, but his buff was painfully high. Somehow I managed to dps the rest, 3rd wave of clones was positioned too early and was vaporized in an instant (you have to place it
he does his purple aoe spell to hope for a successful cast). Took me like 5 minutes and all healing orbs to dps down the remaining 2,5%, and couldn't believe when finally achievement popped up.
Important things I saw on failed attempts:
- At the start,
do not cast
clones after engaging the boss, they will be all close to him and will be oozed over before they can even notice the boss.
- You have to do most of the damage at start. The more stacks the boss gets, the tougher he becomes. At 20 stacks he is basically immortal.
- Interrupt Gunk, the rest won't be effective. If you have the Fire juggler talent (makes enemies hit by your Fire blast fly up), the boss will not be interrupted like most of mobs should but you have gained time and space to move.
- You can fall off the platform (at least I was about to, luckily boss was oozing on one of my shimmered clones and I could get back up in time).
Skill? Luck? Both? I'll go for luck. The boss is really stupidly overtuned and bugged, but not giving up was the key. If i manage to kill him on other toons in Twisting Corridors I will post my strategies for other classes (but I think I'll more likely saw down all the trees in Ardenweald and nail the door to Twisting Corridors shut forever the moment I do finish Floor 8). =P
This boss was awful, TC Layer 7 floor 18 as 211 Vengance DH with Grim Tinder build
managed to do it on 2nd attempt but was very tight
basically used Sigil of misery to cc early on and used Razelikh's Defilment lego to push it back through (holding off from ED until it became cc immune so that it came back through)
after than i basically needed meta up for every time it cast, I found the trick inline with that was not to be in melee when it cast so i could rotate potions and recover hp with pots as when i was dying it was often to a melle after the Devour.
Pretty much any hit out of meta, once it was cc immune, was triggering cheat death mechanics
BM monk TC L3 12th floor. He has 1,02M health.
Managed to down him. What saved me was my hp buffs. Also had 500% increased health with Fortifying Brew, so I could Touch of Death him at around 372k, which was pretty much what saved me.
This was on my 4th try, so don't give up if you fail in the beginning. This is doable. It's just a pain in the behind.
This thing is absolute bull!@#$, and that's speaking as someone who beat it on my first try.
I was lucky enough to get the 90 second invulnerability anima power right before the boss, and I had my anima powers stacked with stuns and haste to the point that I literally had it stunned for ~60-70% of the fight.
... and finished at 3% health with all my CDs used.
This boss is a c'@#t last boss of layer 8 endless coridors on a solo brewmaster. Affixes weren't in my favour i admit (increased health and magic damage) and but it was hitting like an absolute truck.
i killed it on my last try. ilvl196 beast master hunter. only helped on this fight to get out LOS. i did that near vendor. my pet tanked it on center of the bridge.
it was a long and hard fight, i used all my CDs 2 or 3 times..
I couldn't do it on floor 18. 191 BM hunter. My interrupt cool down is slower than the frequency of Gunk. The later Gunks one-shot me. I can't LOS on that stupid bridge. I had zero problem getting to the final boss on floor 18, but this is impossible for me. I guess I won't get the achievement for completing floor 18.
185 Fury Warrior. Got him on level 8, the key for me was the Pummel = knockback and stun anima power. The stun/knockback helps even out the cooldown differentials, also helps keep you ahead in the DPS race. Kept spamming that and burned him down with about 75% left. Just make sure you have Charge/Heroic Leap available in case you're gunked. Otherwise you can't get to him after knockback.
For those that are just going for the achievement
, you can spam level 1 Mort'regar until you find him. Skip as much as you can and just get to floor 3 and check the hologram beside the merchant. If it looks like a blob, then you are golden and proceed to the top and murder him. If not, exit Torghast and try again.
Took me around 7 tries.
did this pos on 18th floor layer 4 twisting corridor as a 201 fury warrior. i did 39k dps to him at the end, yet, had i not taken 80% enrage regeneration cooldown reduction power, im sure wouldn't be able to do it. with all do respect blizzard, change this !@#$ please.. thank you..
Did it after some nurfs to him as shadow priest. I had powers buffing heals and my covenant ability to keep me alive and my speed boost to avoid gunk and other defenses to counter the ability you cant interrupt. Just kited him around. Im taking a wild guess and assuming he got nurfed to sh*t
MAW OF THE MAW DA BANG DA BANG DIGGY DIGGY
Thank you blizzard for making this. Like we have 1h of time wasted for no reason... It's not 2004, we all have jobs now. *!@# you
I dunno what all of you are having problems with this boss. I had zero issues, even early in the shadowlands patch. Arms warrior with die by the sword power, can cast execute at any %, and execute stuns for half a second. Bunch of other powers but those are the main 3. Just spam execute from 100 to 0, boss never gets a cast off. ezpz.
Just get good or bring an arms warrior. Boss ain't hard.
Just did this in layer 7 floor 18 in Twisting corridors as a ilvl 224 Fury warrior. Made me crazy as he gained stacks even though i interrupted every cast he did. Had to stun him for 4 sec first and then fear him for the buff to fall off. Sucked hard though. I was at my last life. Especially when i've facerolled the whole tower before him.
